Title: Cyber Stein and Gadgets
Description: Main focus of the next format?

All 3 Gadgets have been confirmed in the machine starter deck. For thoes who don't know of the gadgets, their effect is simple. You summon one and add another from your deck to your hand. You have a constant source of +1s. If they decide to use a trap card to destroy it will that's just a -1 and you get to summon your other gadget next turn. Want to attack it then? They only have 1200, 1300, and 1400 attack. Well the Deck is packed with Rush recklesslly, shrink, Enemy Controller, all sorts of funs stuff to keep them on the field. This deck has been a Top Tier deck in Japan for a long time.

Cyber Stein is already released and is a dominate force in the Chaos format. But Chaos Sorcerer is gone so now more and more people will be turning to this little critter won't they?

That's round 1 of the top 8 of Shonen Jump Hamilton.

Take a minute to read it. The whole match consists of 2 paragraphs. That is a stein deck at it's best.

We must not forget of cookie cutter decks maindecking 1. With Exiled Force at 2, Last Will, Exiled Force/RotA, Cyber Dragon is like a 1 turn win. I've had it happen to me. :ouch:

Warrior Decks will make a comeback, but they'll be using 1 stein too. I think it's safe to say we should get used to Cyber-Stein.

What do you think the metagame will look like?
What deck are gonna run?

Yay! Another reason not to play in anything official! :D

I don't know about the Gadgets...but Cyber-Stein requires a lot of luck and can be quite easily defeated if used improperly (or desperately). I can see a really good one being hard to beat, though.

Gadgets have been dominating the OCG for a while now, so it's no surprise they will continue to in the future. Stein is a big problem, but I personally think Chimeratech is going to be bigger.

A good player and a good side deck can snuff out Stien. There are ways to handling Chimeratech, though not easy. Waboku and Brain Control is always nifty against the multi-headed machine.

As for the multiple Exileds...I for one will be teching in a Sand Moth or two.

Sandmoth may pop up as tech.

The problem with side-decking against Stein is sometimes they will side deck into burn, or into Cookie Cutter. Another problem with siding against stein is the decks that splash 1 in. Do you really want to put in Wabokus or Kuriboh? Maybe they will side into full stein and you can get lucky. Maybe they will side it out. The side-deck makes everything so tricky. :rolleyes

Read SJC Hamilton for the Stein problem. Even if you sidedeck, you don't always draw the cards you need to stop it.

Brain Control is useless on Chimeratech, as the turn it comes into play, the game is over. I should know, I run a Chimeratech Deck. You can try to use Waboku for going up against Chimeratech, but most of the time you would've used it on a Cyber Twin earlier on in the game.

Oh I run a Chimeratech deck too. They were just suggestions, because I know they deck will be big.
