Title: Apprentice Swap
Drizzt Do'Urden - August 13, 2006 07:52 PM (GMT)
Okay this may make me sound stupid or even Newbish but why are the top players running Swap with Aprrentice Magician? Swap your Apprentice and let them get their Faith. That sounds dumb. And if you run Apprentice right, your opponent won't have monsters.
Can anyone tell me why Apprentice Swap is becoming so great?

This mechanic is incorrect:

You get the monster.

you end up getting one of your opponent's Monsters and then you attack the f/d Apprentice, get a Faith face-down,and get to keep the Beatstick.Pretty good thing to use.

You get the monster? I thought your opponent got the monster. Hmmmm....

no it is the same use for Mystic Tomato,or any searcher.Asura,Majestic Mech-Ohka,and others are also common Craeture swappers.

Well, too bad apprentice swap is going bye bye. :(

not going away,it'll still probably be used in swap decks, but because Chaos sorcerer is going,it's main use is now gone.

Exactly...Anytime a monster is swapped, and it has an effect such as going to the graveyard...whomever's graveyard it goes to, gets to retrieve a monster.
