Recently, I have been playing this game. I've played Silver/Gold, and got this one a few years ago. So I picked it up and am addicted to it.

For those who played it, I have a few questions:

1)Where do you get the Rainbow Wing for Ho-oh?

2)How does one make a pokemon happy? I mean I know how to, but I need to make a bunch of Pokemon happy to evolve them?

3) What levels are Lugia and Ho-oh when you battle them. I know in Silver, Lugia was L.70 and Ho-oh was L.40. Gold was vice a versa (Lugia-40, Ho-oh-70). But since this is the "middle ground" game, what are there levels.

4) Politoed. How do you evove him? I think its trading a Poliwhirl holding Amulet Coin, but am not entirely sure.

you dont need a bunch of happy pokemon to evolve them,just get to a certain level.search for "pokemon crystal cheats"/"pokemon crystal guides" on google
you should get a lot of help from there.

No, I checked Game Faqs, which has never lied to me yet, and some pokemon need to be happy to evolve. Some are Golbat (Crobat), Eevee (Umbreon-Night, Espeon-Day) Pichu, Togepi, ect.....

But how do you make the pokemon happy?

1. You get the rainbw feather at the Tin Tower.....after you get all three Suicune, Raikou, and Entei...speak to one of the baldies/monk and he'll give you the feather.

2. You'll probably have a hard time if you want to evolve a bunch of pokemons at the same time by making them happy....I would suggest making them happy one at a time...You can make them happy by:

Using a lot of stuff on the pokemon often (such as Hp Up, Protein, etc.)

Putting it at the top of all your pokemons (so it's the first one to pop out during a battle)

Going to the haircutter brothers at the underground in Goldenrod.

Going to Blue's sister in the other map, she'll groom a pokemon for you. (but only at a certain time in the afternoon...forgot when exactly)

Battling the pokemon at the place where you got it (so if you got it in a city where there's no pokemon....)

3. They're both Lv 60 in Crystal.

4. It's a something and trading...I don't know what it is, because I have no one to trade with here, and I have a Chinese guidebook with an English cartride, so yeah...

To get politoed you trade poliwhirl while holding a king's rock. If you have any other questions I can refer you to a site (Pm me). I would post it here but it would just be erased.

Another Question. what is the point of Amulet Coin? Also, is there way to get another King's Rock. I used that to Evolve Slowking. (can anyone guess that I am doing the best I can to complete the Pokedex. I am at 141)

ok this is my territory pokemon was my thing growing up and sumwhat still is. the easiest way to get more than one of something is duplicating items, believe me, this really works. if it duzn't, do the same thing silver/gold and trade to crystal.

(1)walk up to a p.c.,
(2)save your game.
(3)deposit the Pokemon with the item u want multiplied (i often used master balls and rare candies attached to eevee cuz eevee has 6 forms, the only catch is that the item must have a numerical value (i.e masterball, rare candies etc)
(4)change the box, when the screen says: "Saving...don't turn off the power"(or whatever) turn it off and start it back up.

another way is to catch lots of slowpoke cuz sometimes they have one attached to them (this is very rare tho)....o and amulet coin doubles the amount of money you get at the end of a battle (usually Lance gives u 5000 but if u beat him with the coin u get 10 000!!!!!!!!! :omg!: anything else just pm me cuz 'm the pokemon master on this forum and i challenge anyone who disagrees!!! ^_^ :jason:
