Title: Anime Games

Anime games, hard to explain this one without giving examples. Pokemon is a strong favourite. I believe it was a game before anime or even manga (is there a manga? who knows..)
I've come today to post about my favourite DS game at this present time called:
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Haven't played it? Go go go!!
You may discuss any anime games such as Phoenix Wright to your hearts content. *tries not to go into hyperactive fan girl mode over a main character*

Um, yes, Pokemon does have a manga...several......
And since I'm broke, I don't have money to buy any games of that sort...:(

oh NO! really? Get some XD
Almost all games are taking on a very anime centred role/genre. It's great for people like me :) Final Fantasy is very anime centred, me happy about that.
Watch my signature change in three.....two....

(Wow, I haven't been on here forever O_O)
But anyway, Sheetro, I've been wanting to play "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" for a really long time now. Unfortunantly, I don't have a DS. I've urged my friends who do have one to buy it but to no avail. :( But on to my question... Basically you gather information right? Then you present your finding in court? So how exactly does it work in the courtroom? Like do you just show the evidence? Or do you actully go back-and-forth with evidence and objections against the "enemy" lawer? (Hope that question made sense =/)

It does make sense and i am more than thrilled to talk about it!!
You are Phoenix Wright (unsurprisingly), a defend...ing...ant...i dunno how to put it, attorney. You're not very good at the start. Talk about fresh from the picking. You have a guide who will talk and walk you through it: Mia Fey.
Anyway! More to the point of game play. You are defending a certain person of course and you have to do everything you can to get the Not Guilty verdict from the judge. So you start off chatting to the suspect, gathering information etc from them. TO THE CRIME SCENE!! Sure attorneys aren't (to my knowledge) allowed to investigate but it's a game, what the hell. So you find clues and gather "evidence". You can't go any further with the game until you've collected everything you can so you can't really muck it up XD.
Trial day. The prosecution will have witnesses who will testify with the most unbelievable crap you'll ever see (but it's hilarious to play). So the witness will testify, this is the fun part. As a defence attorney you can cross examine the testimony. With your evidence you can present evidence if it contradicts the testimony. Then you advance until finally you win :) Easy as cake.... but it gets harder and harder. It's like Ms Marple XD
I highly recommend it to anyone with a sense of humour and love for anime and crime. The final case is the best: opens up a lot of DS fun and is as long as three of the cases in the game put together (there's only about 5 cases in the entire game just to give you an idea XD)
