City of the Damned. The 'ruin' of an ancient city, adventuerers flock there to find treasure, slay beasts and investigate the tales.

The City of the Damned, whose former name is unknown, is known to travelers to be infested with demons, spirits, vampires, and god knows what...... But we know its not ruins. People still live there, and wish to be saved. Their lives are hard, due to constant destruction. We are here to liberate them.


Your a warrior sent to help liberate the City of the Damned. Its up to you if you wish to travel in groups or alone. you can meet up with groups and join temporariy. I will have no major plot. Its free for ALL! ( I love these RPGs)

Appearance He wears a dark samurai outfit that is common to his elven army, his general's uniform. He, being a general, is obviously trained in many weaons, including: hand crossbow, Katana, Tanto, Wakisashi, Rapier, Scimitar, and Jitte. He also has neat, blonde hair that is usually untied and flowing. He travels with his Katana, Jitte, Wakisashi, and Tanto (two daggers, a longsword and a shortsword). His face always looks as if he is pondering something and depressed.


Personality He is stoic. He is always quiet and to himself, until he warms up to you. Then he acts more openly. He acts very quiet, because of his past events.
He randomly leaves groups to think alone..... Not much else is known due to his silent attitude. But now, he is very noble like. He always does the right thing.

History: Heian's life was perfect, or at least what he could remember. He didn't remember, after all, he was kidnapped from his village when he was 50 years old (7 years old if he was human). That day, he did know, his village was attacked by an army of assassins. These assassins, he knew, bore the emblem of an ancient Assassin Brotherhood who's existence was thought to have ended 500 years ago. He vaguely remembers being taken, seeing his father slaughtered, his mother taken by thier leader, and worst of all, being separated from that familiar face, Xanaphia....

Over the next 25 years, he trained under his kidnappers, to be an agent of death, an assassin. When their leader, only known to Heian as Mr. Jones, decided to unleash his legion of assassins onto the land, to cause the suffering they caused his village to the entire continent. Heian, hearing this, left the Assassin Brotherhood to become a rogue agent, changing his name to Saito (since 'Heian' means 'Hero" in Elven, and Saito means 'stealth' in Elven), and making himself known as Saito, the Assassin of the Black Rose. This name meant he always left a black rose for mourning on his victim's body.

Then the day came where he heard of the Festival, the Halfeast, a feast to celebrate the dieties of the continent. Never did he engage in the activities of the festival, but now he did. When the festivities had concluded, he had placed third, with a knight and a ranger in the top three, He being third, the Knight second, and the ranger first. Upon recieving rewards and prizes, the king was assassinated. The only person in the area was the queen. That is why the suspect was an assasssin. The next thing Saito knew, he had been assingned to travel with Elemisnter, a sorcerer; Zurthrang, the Knight fromt the festival, and Mathias, the ranger from the festival. Along the way, they met a Berserker named Armagod. After traveling farther, the party was in trouble, and in need of aid. Then she saved them. Saito reconized her.....

She was an assassin-hunter, a Paladin. They decided to infiltrate the Assassin Strong hold. Saito obtained a katana, which lifted his inspiration to become a member of the elite Elven Samurai. Then, after leaving the stronghold, with the knowledge of the Queen being the assassin of the king, they infiltrated the castle and in the end, the Queen was at Zurthrang's swordpoint. She grabbed the blade and killed herself.

One year later, and each battling Assassin in their own homes, they were summoned yet again. This time, to defeat someone known as Devlin. Devlin was the half brother of the paladin who saved them. (Now, on the matter of this Paladin, I will now explain: Saito reconized her, she was Xanaphia, his friend from the village) She had become quite beautiful since then, Saito, also becomming very handsome, which is accustomed to elves, dared not show her his face. He could not reveal himself to a childhood friend as her enemy. In the end of this mission, Satio had unmasked himself, Xanaphia had become the Elven Queen since her grandmother's death, Zurthrang had become head knight, Eleminster had become the new King's cheif advisor and head of the council, Armagod had become a 'leader' by unifying battling clans in the mountain citadel, and Mathias had become a saggitar.

Saito hasnt changed in a year. But he trained secretly, slowling learning the codes and arts of the Elven Bushido. Slowly, he warmed up to the party and unmasked himself. Xanaphia was happy to see him, as so was here cousin, Rebecca. Leo, her oldest brother, and Cassius, her older brother, joined the campaign as well, though Devlin killed Cassius.

Now, Devlin, as mentioned above, was Xanaphia's half brother, their mother being the same. Devin was half demon, as his father was demon.......his father being Senoj Jones, the leader of the Assassins. During this time, the Monarchs, the Creators of Contier and the great civilizations of Canadia. They explained if they did not win this war, they and the Dieties would come back to the plane and obliterate the entire population and begin anew. Krishnu Rix and his son, Gasha Rix, as well as his Daughter, Florina Rix, three powerful vampires led the colony of Vampires. They wished to have their stronghold back, which was occupied by the assassins.

They formed a temporary alliance with the party and they infiltrated the stronghold the first time. During this time, they defeated and killed Devlin, but he was the least of their worries. Senoj Jones arrived and killed Krishnu Rix and Gasha Rix. Then Captured Heian and Xanaphia, knowing they would lead the charge to defeat them. They would die tomorrow morning. They escaped and went to Florina Rix who formed an alliance with them. They would join the armies against the assassins once more.

By this time, the party confronted Senoj and Devlin, straight on. The war had already escalated to all out planar destruction. If their side lost, the plane would

destroied by the Dieties. They couldnt loose. They found out that the assassins were employed to the demons. So, the good sides, the party, barbarians, elves,
dwarves, and knights, employed the angels. In the long run, the party infiltrated the stronghold, and found the Devils, a group of legendary demons with great power.They couldnt pass, but the Archangels, the opposite of the Devils arrived. Now it was asssassins vs. fighter of Canadia and the vampires., Angel vs Demon, Devil, vs Archangel.

Now, since the party had entered the stronghold, Devlin greeted them. He was revived by Senoj Jones. They killed him again, and went to the rooftop to fight Senoj Jones once and for all. It was beautiful site to see the side of good overcome the side of evil from that rooftop. Their spirits were lifted. They knew if they would win this, they could revive Cassius back to life, so they had to win. After a long fight, they were about to defeat Senoj. Heian threw his sword at him to kill him with a running start, but Jones had his own plan. He shot a ray of energy and fire at Xanaphia. Leo leaped in its path. Heian then leaped in its path of Leo. Your brother already died defending Xanaphia. You need to live, its my turn to proove myself to you all. He took the beam to the stomach, but as the sword was just about to hit Jones, he vanished in shadows. Heian smirked at the party, holding his injury and fell of the roof. The party never did find his body.

A few months later, Heian returned to the colony. He was healed by the Clerics of Obad-Hai, but it was amazing how he arrived at the Clerics front door.....3 miles away. He returned to the colony where Leo was about to die from an odd illness. After his funeral, they all went to contier to bury him in the Legends Cemetary, where the party finally saw that Heian lived. A few months later, Heian married Rebecca and became the Elven Genereal. The party was summoned again to liberate a city, which a rogue vampire held as a tyrant. The City of the Damned. During this time, the reason he survived that beam arose. He had become half demon b/c of that beam. He and Rebecca fought Senoj alone, as the rest of the party fought off demons. Senoj explained what happend and how Heian is a demon.. He transformed into his Demon Form, Darian. He killed Rebecca, then Senoj in brutal deaths. He transformed back to see Senoj's body dissolve in shadows. He went to Rebecca's body and held her in his arms and cried. He carried her body to the rest of the party, while wearing his assassin's mask. He set her body on the ground and left the party to explore the city himself. He met Raire and Maxine, two travelers trapped in the city.

Personality: she can be very aggressive when people try to show her that they are better than her. Most of the time she would be quiet and not in the mood to talk unless it’s to help someone get out of danger.
Special Powers: controlling the four elements (earth, water, wind and fire)

To himself, "I really wish she was with me. Damn' those demons. " Heian curses as he wipes a would be tear from his eye. "Rebecca. Why did you follow me. Why did Xanaphia let you go. So much mystery shrouded the events that happened here 150 years ago. It caused me anger and heartache, and yet I return."

Heian walks into the city, seeing 2 Swashbuckling Pirates before him. "Hello there," He calls out, but when they turn around, their eyes are red, skin is pale, and canine teeth are extended. "Vampires." Heian whispered.

Heian drew his katana and stuck his position. One vampire charged at him, and Heian leaped over its head, slashing the back of its neck enought to eliminate the vampire. "Good thing Vampires are special cases of undead and can be "killed" temporarily."

THe other started charging. Heian saw the first vampire's sword. He liked the craftmanship on it. It was dazzling. He sheathed his katana and grabbed it. As the vampire charged at him, he lurched foreward, dodging his rusty blade and shoving his new sword through the vampires chest, comming out on the back of the neck. The vampire's assault ended, and Heian pushed him off of his blade.

"Nothing interesting on this one." He said as he walked away.

It was a start of a new day, though the sky was still dark. Raire shifted the debris covering the entrance to his "den" and looked out. Nothing dangerous in sight. His stomach rumbled.
Normally he'd've just grabbed something, whatever it was as long as it was edible, from a box where he stored food, but unfortunally he'd eaten everything the night before. Sighing, he grabbed his katana and one of his daggers and climbed out the hole, covering it with the debris as he got out, leaving to find something to eat, whatever it may be.

I still cant find the pic I had for my character. I'll get it soon though.

Heian keeps walking along the city. Its a shame how the King completely abandoned this city.

"I must send a letter to Queen Xanaphia [of the elven colony]to meet with the King of the land." He pauses "It will have to wait. Who could deliver it?"

He continues walking and sees a man[I think thats what you are, it says 'looks male'] in black clothes walking with a katana at his belt.

"Hey you." HEian calls out to the character, "Can I speak with you for a moment."

He realized it would be smart to remove his mask for his stay here so no one thought he was an enemy. He removed his mask to reveal a handsom elf with long, blonde hair and icy blue eyes.

He walks over to the the person.

Raire heard someone calling, which he doesn't hear often (usually anyone else around here are silent). Turning around, he saw a man wearing dark robes and a handsome face. He doesn't look exactly human, and Raire wasn't that fond of non-humans because it means they're probably stronger and harder to kill if they meant ill.
Warily stepping back a few steps, he moved his hand over to the katana, in case the other man should attack suddenly.
"What is it?"

"I am a representitive from the Elven Colony. My Name is Heian Saito Nailo. I am the General of the Elven Samurai. I am here to aid in saving this City."

Heian saw how he this man was on the edge. He had dealt with someone like that before. Of course it was over 250 years ago and he had just killed them. Back in the assassin days.

"Dont be afraid of my dark robes. Its a long story. I was kidnapped from my village roughly 270 years ago. You may recall, as it is well known history, that was the Assassin's Strike agains this land. I was one of the ones who traveled the land and defeated the Assassins. It was quite an adventure, fighting alongside Angels against demons and assassins. It was slightly invigorating.....yet terrible to know how the fate of the land rested with you and your companions. It was great. After the battle, when Queen Xanaphia made me the general, I fell in love with a samurai. Her name was...Oh, here I go again. Babbling on again."

Heian smirked and shook his head *to himself* "No matter how much babbling I do, you won't come back."

He looked up at the other fighter again. "Sorry about that." He took reached into his bag and tossed him a bag. "You look hungry. That is the Elven Lembas Bread and Wine. It is very filling."

Catching the bag, Raire looked inside and took out a "lembas" and stared at it. It doesn't seem to be poisoned....

Munching on one (and noting that the food was quite good, much better than the scraps he'd been living on for the past few months), he somehow managed to speak with his mouth full. "Saving this city? Just you?"

Eyeing the person, he doesn't look that strong enough to get rid of all those things that cause mayhem and chaos. And Raire didn't understand half of what he just said..."Queen Xanaphia"? Assassin Strike? He didn't have time to care about history, just the task of staying alive busied him everyday. Even if there was a war of some kind, he was probably somewhere else, avoiding all the chaos.

"Who woken me up after such a long time being trapped in a statue" she spoke to herself. Maxine walked out of the temple she was trapped in and walked down the stairs. She noticed a few people trying to get away from a few immortals. "LEAVE THEM ALONE" she shouted as she ran up to them. "leave or be perished" Maxine growled while grabbing her Katana.
Maxine dodged the first one and grabbed the child outof the way from the immortal throwing flames.
she noticed two men up ahead talking to each other. "HEY YOU TWO HELP THESE PEOPLE, I HAVE A SCORE TO SETTLE" she shouted while letting go of the child, and running back to the immortals.

"Well, warrior, I need assistance. I need aid. Eventually, I will be able to send for reinforcements from the colony. But that time is far off, and I need your help. Would you mind if I traveled with you for a little while longer?"

Heian began to walk toward him. He still had the Swashbuckler's sword over his shoulder. He realized he only carried it for its beauty, not for use.

"You want this? I killed a Pirate Zombie for it. I have no use for this blade at the moment."

As he walked he held the sword out, holding it by the blade, so that the fighter could grab the hilt if he wished.

Raire stuffed the rest of the lembas in his hand into his mouth and eyed the blade with interest; it looked quite shiny....




"So...where are you headed towards anyways at such a time?" Raire asked as he polished the blade with a rag and walked with Heian a short while later. A woman in the distance wearing odd clothing (not the kind of clothing anyone around here would wear at such times anyway) fighting some other people caught his eye, but then, he wasn't the kind that bothered with other people's business if he could.

"Well, I am here to seek answers. Thats what brought me here. I will relentlesly continue until I find out why someone dear to me was murdered."


He looked at the fighter.

"The name's Heian, Heian Saito Nailo. You can call me Heian or Saito, doesnt matter to me. You are you?"

"That person was murdered here?" Raire shouldered the blade and stared at the distant figure still fighting.

Maxine managed to fight off the immortals and walked up to the two men. "Who are you and what is your reason being here?" she questioned them both.

"Demanding are we? I am a representitive from the Elven Colony. My Name is Heian Saito Nailo. I am the General of the Elven Samurai. I am here to aid in saving this City."

He paused, realizing that this was getting old. He'd been the general for 200 years.

"And you? Who are you." Heian said as his hand, which was concealed by his robes, grasped his silver dagger in preparation.

"Reason why I'm here? I live here..." Raire replied with raised eyebrows, his hand on the handle of the sword tightened a little more. "You're the one who should be telling us why you're here. Have you any idea how out of place you look with that outfit of yours in a place like this?"

"Besides, before demanding who others are, shouldn't you tell us who you are yourself first?"

"I am Maxine, Demon of this city for centuries, until i was turned into a living statue, but someone let me out and begged me to help this city out, that is maybe why my outfit is different to yours" Maxine paused and heard something in a distance. "It isn't safe here anymore it's best to keep moving"

"......" Raire didn't trust this newcomer, but since she didn't show any sign of hostility (at least not yet at this point), he might as well watch and observe some more and see what happens.

"Demon...huh." Heian began.

He recalled the final battle he had with Xanaphia's Half brother, Devlin. He had cut him with Yamato, which had caused him to become half demon. He had transformed into a gnaraled and twisted demon. He killed Rebecca and transformed into a fallen angel and annihilated Devilin.


He still had demon blood. He called himself Dark Angel because of it, yet no on else knew.


"....I wonder...Oh, I have really got to stop thinking out loud."

*looks at Touz's character.*

"Never Did catch your name?"

Raire rolled his eyes. "Because I never said it. My name is Raire, as in R-A-I-R-E, not R-A-R-E...though come to think of it, it's not everyday you see someone with a name like that, so I guess it is "rare", in a way."

"Well, hello there Raire. "

Heian heard something. Being an elf, its easier to hear things.

"Umm, Raire, Maxine? You guys up for a fight?"

They looked at him to aknowledge his speaking.

"There are around 100 imps comming are comming down that ruined street."

"God no, another fight..." Raire rubbed this temples and muttered. But having accepted a shiny new blade and food, he didn't suppose denying the person who just gave him all these is well.

"I dont know about you, but I have other buisness to tend to . I need ride to the elven colony and speak with Xanaphia, the Elven Queen. I will return. But until then, here."

He handed Raire more lembas bread and elven wine.

"Take this. I wont need it. I will be back at the colony in only a day or two."

He whistles. A white wolf races to where he is standing. Heian pets hit and whispers "Good, Jarad, your here already"

He gets on the wolf. " I will return shortly."

THen he takes off riding the wolf out of the City and to the elven colony.

Raire stared at the figure leaving. "-___-........Great, now I'm stuck here with a girl who only has "FIGHT" on her mind..." Holding the bag full of lembas and wine, he wondered if he could just decline the offer and go home.

"Hmm... Raire u said you live here right? if you did then tell what has happened so far?" Maxine asked kindly while looking for a way to walk away from the imps.

"........Well, the usual, mayhem, chaos, people killing each other, humans and non-humans and half-humans all competing to be the next ruler of this dump....I don't know why they bother. It's not like this place is worth much..." Raire sighed and looked towards where his den was. He hoped no one unwelcome is around.

"this is all my fault" Maxine murmured "only if i didn't start this mess everything would be fine and if only one person didn't turn me into the demon i was centuries ago... sorry i was babbling on wasn't i? you know anywhere we can hide until the imps have vanished?"

"....I thought you were a great fighter?" Raire muttered, but continued "...I know of a few hiding places, but they might not be to your liking; they're a bit...dirty."

" I may of been a great fighter centuries ago but i promised someone that i would change... Even though i may never see that person again" Maxine felt a tear slip "Let's go to this hideout it doesn't bother me whether i get dirty, i already killed too many people with my own hands" she finished while quickly wiping the tear away before raire noticed.

Raire shrugged. "Okay." He led Maxine towards the direction of one of his hiding places. As they arrived, Raire shooed away the rats crowded in front of the entrance and lifted a slab of rock to show a small hole. "Here it is. When you enter, ignore the smell. It's skunk. Very nice for warding off unwelcome guests."

" It wouldn't bother me as the smell of burnt flesh is more horrid than a skunk's, and i should know" Maxine smirked. "So what shoould we do until elf boy gets back... i don't even remember his name" Maxine climbed in and waited for raire.

"I think it was Heign...Hein? Hen? Wait......ah, nevermind." Raire crawled in after Maxine and covered the entrance up. "So, now what?"

The Imps clawed at the enterance to the door.

Heian rode in on Jarad. He waved a symbol of a Demon Slayer, causing the Imps fear and they flew off.

He looked around for Raire and Maxine.

"what the hell is that noise?" Maxine asked with curiousity. She slowly went to the entrance and saw Heian. "Well you took your sweet time" She said sarcastictly.

Raire had taken out the wine and sipped it. It was good, and he crawled over to the back of the small den and started drinking, noting that Heian had came back.

"So, elf boy what took you so long?... Anyway i gotta split, i have to find someone... Take care Raire, i hope our paths will cross again" Maxine said before leaving the boys

"Well, first off, you call me elf boy again, you will be out one hand. And second, I rode to the elven colony to find it burned to the ground. I do not know who, but I have a hunch it was someone from this city. Someone who does not want it saved."

"hmm... is that a threat, Heian? ... You know you look familiar to me now... did you somewhat have a girl with you before several years ago?" Maxine smirked as she knew she was getting close towards Heian's pain.
