Title: World Championship 2006
Nightshade - May 14, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
I've had this for about a month now. I like it mostly because you can use alot of the modern cards, and they have their real effects. (Sangan isn't just a worthless weenie monster anymore!!)
Anyways, what do you guys think about it?
BTW, does anyone have Collapse (Shrink) on the game? I tried to enter the password for it, and it was really blurry, so I think I read it wrong, since it wouldn't accept it.
Dark Evangel - May 15, 2006 03:12 AM (GMT)
This game is great. I only wish EOJ was in this game also, that would make my Helios Deck so much better.
I have Shrink in this game. It's way hard to pull though. The password is 55713623.
Nightshade - May 15, 2006 11:31 AM (GMT)
Thanks! Wow....that whole time I was only off by one number.....I thought it was 55713624.
I had a bunch of ideas for decks, and right now I chose the first one I had: Vampires. So far I've got about 28, 000 points saved up, so I might as well just buy more vampire cards.
Hmm.....Soul of the Duelist is in the game, but yet it told me Malice Doll of Demise couldn't be used. Unless I entered the password wrong, or it just doesn't have it in the game.
A Helios deck sounds cool. I was thinking of making a Different Dimension/Remove from play deck, and thought about putting Helios in it. In fact, it seems like it'd almost be a necessity.....
Oh yeah, the only thing I don't really like about the game is the fact that all of those crazy ritual monsters I thought were fake are real, and Psycho Puppet is the only one that isn't real! >:0 Oh well, that's just what happens, I guess.
Touzokuou Bakura - May 15, 2006 02:08 PM (GMT)
Ack, I only have World Championship 2004 >_>
Nightshade - May 16, 2006 11:40 AM (GMT)
*Gasp*
:o
Hopefully they sell this game in your area!
This is the only World Championship game I've ever played, but from what I've seen of the other ones, it looks like the best. I think it's one of the best Yu-Gi-Oh GB/GBA games ever, since it follows real rules and gives all the cards actual effects.
king_laharl - May 17, 2006 10:25 AM (GMT)
Horus decks on 2006 rule, its like the only deck that beats the gadget deck all the time :D
Touzokuou Bakura - May 17, 2006 02:19 PM (GMT)
:( Even if they do sell it here, it's probably in Japanese, and I don't understand any of it :NO And my chances of zooming back to the states and buying it within two years are like, nil.
Nightshade - May 17, 2006 10:03 PM (GMT)
Well, maybe you'll be able to get it eventually, but if not, the next one should come out eventually, and maybe you could get that one instead.
Lord_of_Thunder - May 17, 2006 10:27 PM (GMT)
I LOVE this game. I make a armed dragon deck, and I haven't entered the PW for LV.10 yet...but right now I am working on a Cyber Dragon Deck, it sucks as right now, I need more support for it.
Nightshade - May 17, 2006 11:03 PM (GMT)
There are a lot of Cyber Dragon support cards. I thought that alot of them were in Enemy of Justice, which the game doesn't use, but I was wrong. Most of them are in Cybernetic Revolution and Shadow of Infinity, so you can use them.
Here are some you should definitely use, but you probably already thought of them.
Cyber Barrier Dragon
Cyber Laser Dragon
Proto Cyber Dragon
Heavy Mech Support Platform
Attack Reflector Unit
Rare Metalmorph
Metalmorph (Could make all of your monsters REALLY strong REALLY fast)
Photon Generator Unit
Limiter Removal
Interdimensional Matter Transporter (Not sure if you can chain this with Limiter Removal so you can save one of your monsters, maybe you want to give it a try, though)
POWER BOND (Nasty Cyber End or Cyber Twin Dragon Combo)
Sorry if you already thought of all of those, but just make sure you use machine support cards to make your robotic dragons even stronger than before.
Right now I run an incomplete Vampire deck. Works pretty well in duels. When I get tired of that, I'm going to make one of my other ideas that I had (There were quite a few...), including a V to Z deck, which might be the most effective. :o

This is a World Championship Game, guess what that means?
That's right, there are multiple language options!
I don't know why you would want to play this in English though 'cause the translations are terrible. Good thing I can understand it in Japanese...
BTW, does anyone know a really quick and easy way to beat the stupid Hand Destruction Theme Duel, it's one of the only ones I got left and it's way to hard for me...
Touzokuou Bakura - May 19, 2006 02:17 PM (GMT)
^ reason why I need it in English: because I understand nil in Japanese, and I need to know what effects certain cards have
Nightshade - May 19, 2006 08:40 PM (GMT)
If you buy it and Japanese is the default language, then scroll down through the menu to the last option and open it. Then choose the bottom sub-option (the top one would be "Your Status"), go to the option with the flag next to it, and choose the option with the American flag. Then the whole game will be in English.

Dark Evangel - May 22, 2006 01:04 AM (GMT)
I have it but I gotta warn ya, it's 53 I think for one, so it's not really worth it.
Green - 41172955
Red - 86445415
Yellow - 13839120
I still say it's a lot easier to just pull them from the Machine Pack.
Nightshade - May 22, 2006 06:46 PM (GMT)
Do you know if it takes Malice Doll of Demise or Spring of Rebirth in the game?
I put in the passwords for both, and it gave me the Error message. I have Spring of Rebirth in real life, and it didn't take it, and I'm not sure if I messed up when I read Malice Doll's password...
I mean, Spring of Rebirth is the only thing that redeems spirit monsters, and I can't use it?!
Dark Evangel - May 23, 2006 12:54 AM (GMT)
^Not sure about Spring, but I am 100% sure Malice is not in this game.
Nightshade - May 23, 2006 12:59 AM (GMT)
Thanks again.
Well, I'm now 100% sure it doesn't take Spring of Rebirth or Malice Doll of Demise. I just entered in the password from the actual card (that I have right in front of me), and it gave me the dreaded ERROR again. What were they thinking? Now Spirit decks are next to useless unless you have three Solemn Wishes or something out at the same time...
Lord_of_Thunder - May 25, 2006 10:01 PM (GMT)
How do you get acess to dueling cyber end dragon and the other two (i forgot their names)
Dark Evangel - May 26, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
Stronghold happens at 60%, Nephthys at 70%, Cyber End at 80%, you at 90%, Copycat at 95%.

Eh?
You end up dueling yourself as an opponent?
Dark Evangel - May 26, 2006 04:40 AM (GMT)
It's one of the two Special Tier guys. It's a computer that uses the exact same deck as the one you are using right now.
Nightshade - May 26, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
Does it use the deck you have when you first face it, or does it change its deck whenever you do?
Lord_of_Thunder - May 26, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
Dark Evangel - May 27, 2006 07:02 AM (GMT)
^It changes when you change your deck.
^Percent of how far you have completed the game. You can check it at your status.
king_laharl - May 27, 2006 11:54 AM (GMT)
And when you face the copycat duelist you select one of the decks you have made and duel that :D, its am easy was too make money cause you just build a crap deck (all normall monsters) and then beat it with an exodia deck or something cause exodia makes alot of money, I have a manticor exodia deck at the moment and im getting on average 4000 a duel sometimes more
Dark Evangel - May 28, 2006 01:51 AM (GMT)
I did the same thing. Buy I gave Copycat a deck with only tributes while I use Last Turn. It's so easy to get over 4000 per duel.
Barrel End Dragon - May 30, 2006 01:07 AM (GMT)
does anyone know the password to update the forbidden/limited list yet?if so i'd aprreciate if you would post it here.
Barrel End Dragon
Dark Evangel - May 30, 2006 01:31 AM (GMT)
There's only one password for the List so far, and that's for the March 06 one.
v2AQz 8Gfz(Circle) Lup3K EWQ÷r mQ=vW GxrMr pBLea P=rWQ @zWQ= EWQU7 uMvyn ?f7YG 8-BWg J?D
The circle is the dot thing.

You can unlock other banlists by wining the limited duels called "Refere to(insert date) banlist", you unlock the banlist of the one you've just beat
Nightshade - June 6, 2006 01:01 AM (GMT)
If you put in the code to change the ban list, is it possible to change it back?
BTW, does anyone have the March 2006 list?
Dark Evangel - June 6, 2006 01:06 AM (GMT)
^You go to the List section, and you'll be allowed to select which ever list you want to use...
The March 06 one was the one I listed codes for above...
Nightshade - June 6, 2006 01:08 AM (GMT)
Oh, okay. So I can change it whenever I want, then. Good.
I meant the actual list itself, but I don't need it now.
Dark Evangel - June 6, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
We are currently using the March 06 list right now in the real game.
Nightshade - June 6, 2006 06:37 PM (GMT)
Okay. Thanks. I put in the code, and I like the original list more.
Lord_of_Thunder - June 27, 2006 12:34 PM (GMT)
Is blue flameswordsman in this game?
Newzfoxjr - October 17, 2006 12:38 PM (GMT)
Has anyone bought and played this game? Is it good? :o
