Well, I hope I'm allowed to make this topic, and if not, I apologize. (But I'm pretty sure it's okay...)

Anyways, I also hope we might be able to go somewhere with this, or at least get a few pages worth of posts.

Alright, this takes place on the Duel Academy Island from GX, and is also some time after all the characters in the show have graduated/died/vanished/whatever may have happened to them, so that means everyone who joins will have to use original characters only, but if you want people like Crowler/Chronos to still be professors and people like Bastion/Misawa to be newly hired professors or something, that should work. We can start off casual and go into a school tournament or something like that. You can even mimic the show, like when Chazz/Manjyome (Chazz is the most retarded name ever :hehe: ) challenges Jaden/Judai to an illegal, rule-breaking duel, then go ahead and do it. Characters can be romantic with each other if you want, just keep it PG-13. That goes for discussions and anything else too.

Also, tell me in this topic if you think we should follow dub names or original japanese names. I've never watched the japanese versions of any Yu-Gi-Oh before, but from what I've looked at online, it looks like they pwn the dubs.

Biography: (DISCLAIMER: Despite what people will probably think, this character is straight, and I am too. :o Sorry to disappoint if you began to think that. Anyways, despite the crossdressing, this guy likes girls. I mean, if you think about it, he gets to share a room with two of them...*Shuts up* Well, he might be weird and seem gay, but he's straight, and I'll make him turn into an actual boy once he duels some female character or something like that. Now for the bio.) As a young boy, everybody teased Aoi because of his girly looks. When he got old enough, he went to stay at the Duel Academy. Before he went, he realized even more people would just make fun of him, so he decided to go to the school as a female student so he could have a "normal" *cough cough* life. Aoi had good very good grades, but his dueling skills weren't as good as those of an Obelisk Blue student, so he ended up in Ra Yellow. He sometimes has trouble hiding the fact that he is a boy since it's not natural for him to act like a girl. This makes him a little embarassing to other girls sometimes, since Aoi seems to be a "tomboy".

Phew that was a long post. Well, I can't wait for Aoi to get his ass kicked in a duel, so let's go and get this one the way!

Favorite Card: Dark Magician, Dark magician of Chaos, Dark magicain girl (all time fave ^^ ) and Sorcerer of dark magic.
Deck Strategy: Same as Bastions. He usually takes some time to anylize a situation, but, depending on how well he gets a good hand, or feil, he may mostly, try to end the duels quickly.
Appearance of Character: Ra yellow clothing, short brown hair, hazel/ slight amber mixed eyes, slightly tanned skin, average build. Stands about 6'1.

Biography: Came to Duel Academy to test his skills to the max and see what other duelists are capable of. Most likely to become a Rival with Chazz.

Just for the record: If anyone uses the first Yugioh Characters, you better have them aged by 10 years, as GX is 10 years after the original show. Also, MAYBE add on 3 more years, as the Yugioh movie sums up the other few seasons from Duelist kingdom, to battle city's end, as 3 years passing, before The Dartz Saga. E.G Yugi, Joey and Kaiba are 29.

Appearance of Character: The first thing you tend to notice about Slash is his hair. It's spiked four inches long above his head into a sort of elevated buzz cut. The hair as well as all his clothes are jet black. He wears 11 bracelets on each wrist. When he's not wearing his obelisk blue uniform, he's decked out in memorablilia of the band; Jammin' Jay and the Symphonites. (Jammin' Jay is Slash's father)

Biography: When he was only eight years old, the music industry shut out his fathers band, leaving the family homeless, owing large debts to the record company. The family lived homeless for some years until eventually both of Slash's parents died. Upon finding a stray wallet in the middle of the street, Slash's father runs out to grab it saying that he'll provide for his family even if he has to steal. In shock, his mother runs after the old Jammin' Jay and both of them are run over by a semi. Bittered by the loss of his parents, he searches for earthly things to fill the gap left by his dead mother and father. He tried stealing, but that didn't work. He tried getting into orphanages, but that didn't last long either. One day he ran across two people playing yu-gi-oh out on the side walk near where he lived. Intrigued by the card designs, he sat down to watch them play. Immediately Slash was hooked. He knew that he had to learn everything about the game that he could. And once he found out you could make money winning tournaments, Slash made it is life goal to become the best duelist there ever was. So penny by penny he built up his powerful burn decks, growing stronger and more knowledgable along the way. Eventually he reached the level of 12th in his state when out of the blue a letter came to him one day inviting him to the Duel Academy on full ride scholarship. Once there, the school only fueled Slash's passion and determination even more to become "the legend that the world wouldn't let my father be".

A cool, but sharp breeze whistled by on the frosty winter morning. The Duel Academy was on Christmas, but Slash and a few others had stayed behind to practice over the next two weeks. Slash grinned as he shuffled through his pride and joy; the burn deck he affectionately called "Furnace of Nightmares". Occasionaly he would set the deck down on his leg and draw a few opening hands. Smiling at some but frowning at others. After a while he took a blue 3" binder out of his backpack by where he was sitting. He flipped through a few of the many hundred pieces of notebook paper and scribbled down some notes for his deck. After that, he put his binder and his deck away, and began to whistle. Halfway through the song, he hears footsteps from behind him.

A Ra Yellow girl had snuck into the Obelisk Blue dorm, wearing her duel disk, ready for a challenge. This girl was Aoi, and she had been checking all of the dorms for an opponent, but either she couldn't find anybody, or anybody who stayed behind didn't feel like dueling. Luckily, she found someone in here. "He looks like he's ready to duel. I wonder what kind of deck he uses....." Aoi decided to stop thinking and take action. "Hey you! Are you feeling up to a duel?"

bold move walking in here Aoi, though i guess it doesn't matter. Pot can't call the kettle black you know.

well well well, I see you've brought your clunky little wristwatch with you. Now i don't want either of us to get hurt, so why don't we just sit down and duel the old fashioned way.

kneels over, unzips backpack and retrieves deck. rezips backpack and sits down, motioning for Aoi to do the same

Aoi grumbled under her breath for a second, and shrugged. "Are you afraid to face me with your duel disk, then?" Not giving him time to answer, she pulled her deck out from the disk and sat down across from Slash. She then removed the duel disk and dropped it on the ground. "Well, if you want to do things the hard way.....I'll go first." She shuffled her deck, and drew her first five cards. "Or would you rather go first?"

Deck Strategy: Trying to get the Cyber twin dragon and Cyber end dragon out as fast as he can and he is about power so he has tones of power ups in it some good traps like Ordeal of a traveler and he has some magic cards in it like final flame, power bond and stuff like that and he likes machines a lot so it is a powerful deck and he likes to direct attack so he can beat them in like 10 turns if he gets the right cards and also he gets the cyber dragons out as fast as he can by pot of greed and stuff like that his deck also has gyroid in it but that is for emergencys only and also he uses a lot of monsters to get it to direct attack mostly he likes power and that is his strategy
Dislikes:e-hero decks anyone he loses to but he has one friend buit he hates to get tricked and he hates anyonre who is in slifer red (last year he got defeated by someone in that dorm really badly and now he hates that dorm) finally he hates any girls that are not in the obilisk dorm
Dreams:to become a teacher in this academy for 5 years and then to make his own academy for dueling

Heh, I don't know why I'm choosing this topic to say this, but...

Cool that you made a black character. Yugioh needs more than Johnny Steps (who recieved the whole "Make the black person ugly" anime treatment). I can't tell if Kenzan is supposed to be black or tan, but I think he's supposed to a black japanese person. (XD) Anyways, just so this comment doesn't seem completely random, I am half-black and half-white, so I guess there was some relevance to this post.

I summon my Raging Flame Sprite in attack mode. Then I activate Swords of Revealing Light and set one more s/t card face down. now let's see what you can do this turn Aoi.

(Warning: I won't be on until Monday becuase I've been banned from the internet.......(I'm using a school comp)...

Aoi frowned at the loss of being able to attack for three turns, but she shrugged it off. "I summon Malice Doll of Demise in attack mode and set a card facedown." She looked at her hand, and looked back to Slash. "That's all I can do for now, so I'll just end my turn."

When Ben woke up in his dorm , he knew it was christmas day so he got dressed, got his deck, put his duel disk on and went walking around . When he was walking he saw aoi and slash dueling in a room so he went in there and said to them "so there is some action finally going on today can I join after the winner is announced I want to play please" and then he sat down to watch them for a while. Then went to the restroom and came back to see them duel "this is starting to be a good duel" he said "after a few turns when I duel you I will aniliate the you" he said and then he was quiet the rest of the duel because he didn't want to interupt them again which he already did twice in a row

Walking about, a teen with short brown hair, and hazel/amber mixed eyes, in a Ra yellow uniform, hears a duel going on in another room.

Curious wins against him, as he walks into the room, noticing three other people in there.

"Seems like a good match." He says to himself, his duel disk on his left arm, the deck in it's proper place.

The Student is Shane, Who's 19.

Originally from Canada, the teen came to the island to test his skills as a duelist, however, since it was christmas now, most of the students weren't here, just him, and a few others.

Leaning against a wall, Shane continues watching the duel.

Ben saw Shane walk in the room " hey are you here to join the fun just wondering . Also how about we duel to and have a little tournament and the winners of both matches face each other ok so you want to use duel disks or the way they are doing it Shane I want to do it the way they are doing it ok so lets go do you want to I mean you don't have too if you are chicken if we do duel though we have to go in a different room so we don't distract them" he said

Shane just growls lightly.

"Can you please, repeat yourself? I didn't catch any of that.." He replied.

(I actually, didn't....Maybe the use of better grammar will help ^^;;...It seemed as one whole word..Not trying to be mean, just helpful ^^;;; )

I said "are you here to join us in the fun of dueling? Also how about you and me duel and if it is ok with Aoi and Slash we have a little tournament in this room, and the winner of both matches faces each other to see who is the best right now. Also I don't want to use a duel disk to duel I want to do it the way they are doing it ok, unless you don't want to and chicken out of it. So come on lets duel because I am getting bored of watching a duel I want to actually do a duel. So are you with me or not?"

Shane smirks.

"Fine, I'll duel you, but I preffer the duel disk system. Unless YOU wanna chicken out of using the duel disks...Unless theres a reason you dont wanna use them?" Asked Shane.

"Im just saying, if theres a fear or something about the duel disks, then the best way to make it go away is to face it, right? So, what will it be? You up for the duel, with the duel disks?" He asked again, trying not to sound mean.

" I am not afraid of them, but i will use them. So how about we go to the duel arena to duel so we won't destract them ok. So how about it and I am not a chicken!" he said

Aoi turned to Shane and Ben, and smiled. "This little tournament is fine with me, and the losers can face each other too. You'll just have to check to see if it's okay with fire boy over there." She pointed to Slash and got a cocky smirk on her face.

"Hey Slash is it ok with you? Since we are the only ones in here right now how about it I mean we can do it it will be really fun. So are you up for the challenge? Also sorry I intrupted your duel again by talking to shane sorry." he said

i'm up for a little competition. Now Aoi, here comes my move.

I set one monster in defense mode first off. Then because of raging flame sprite's ability, I can attack you directly dealing 100 points of damage to you. And if this attack is successful then I get to increase Raging Flame Sprite's attack by 1000 points giving him a grand total of 1100. So if you don't do something soon, you're gonna be feelin' the burn here in a second because trust me sister, I'm just getting started.

(Aoi has two more turns of non-aggression under Swords of Revealing Light)
