In marching band I am a Baritone.
In Jazz Ensemble 1 (there were 3, Jr High, 2 and 1, 1 is the best) I was Lead Tenor Sax.....no solos this year. I took the year easy.

Lets see here. I have dabbled in Piano and Clarinet also.
My next goal is Trumpet, which is similiar to Baritone, but much smaller. I will then brave the learning of Bass Cleff and Learn Trombone.

wow your all over the place in picking insturments.trumpet is hard because you have to play high all the time remember that(i've played it for five years,or six cant remember),o i also played baritone for about 4 months,and tuba for four months(i can play really loud because i learned to play those insturments).cool,a fellow band member.
edit:i am in jazz band,symphonic winds(going to go to new york and play at carnegie hall in march 2007),marching band(fall,went and preformed in chicago state street parade,national television),and after school symphonic band.

i played in a few bands. i'm a pretty decent guitarist. right now- im too busy. but- my best friend is in a band, and they ROCK. im a rodey when they have gigs, so i get into concerts for free. :)

As stated above, I play 1st Part Trumpet (and yes, we play hiiiigh). I also practice Clarinet, Baritone, Tuba, Guitar, Flute and I'm just starting to learn the Sax. In case you couldn't tell, I LOVE music. I'm only in my 8th Grade Concert Band, but I'll be in Marching Band next year. My friends (teachers, too) say I sing very beautifully. I love singing. . . I'm kinda too busy to play in a BAND band beacuse we gotta study for our Algebra I EOTC Test. (End Of The Course Test). That's about it for me.

hey barrel end dragon have you been in any compititions lately I have and we got a gold I did a solo and got a silver(I wanted gold :( )

the last comp. i had was for symphonic band,at cal state fullerton,my band doesnt go to comp.s where you get rated,just what to improve on,it's better for your self-esteem.not that my band sucks,just its better.and thats awesome about your solo.marching band restarts on june 14th.after that i dont go to a marching comp.until about october.

I know that I also like to play trombone do you like that instrument?

its fun to take your trumpet mouthpiece,put it in the trombone,and play as high as you can(you play about three times as high as you can on your trumpet)it is fun.

no as a secondary insturment,but i used to play tuba and euphonium for about 4 months each,it increases your air capacity,and when you play your trumpet you play at least twice as loud as normal.

I also played tuba and sax but I quit because I started to hate them i love trumpet though!

We just started PRE-Marching band camp... it hurts like hell... my legs hurt.. my back.. my voice is hoarse.. but it's worth it. I wnna be the best! *shakes fist.*

i used to play the trombone and was in my school band then i played the guitar and the drums i never got good because i only praticed when we had our meetings and they were to early so i quit the school band and know i play yugioh that was a fair trade

I play first flute in our school Orchester, I also play Bass guitar, was formaly in a band but had to quit when we moved... :omg!!!

I'm in the Allen High School's "Allen Eagle Escadrille"

we marched in the 2006 rose parade and were the biggest band to march there in all of rose parade history with 580+ members (60+ drill team/color guard)
