Do any of you guys go to any local card shops or tourneys just post em here.

i used to play in 3 non santioned tournament a week to make money. (each had about 30 people, and me and flip won most of them and split the money.) that really was nice- but there is no more time for them anymore. stupid college, lol. what do i need an education for? lol.

The tourney I go to is swiss, and the top 4 prize format is like this
1st place: $50 cash
2nd place: $25 cash
3rd-4th place: $12.50
Its has like 50-70 ppl every week.

thats pretty dope. you arent supposed to be able win cash at yugioh events. its against the rules. lol. i WISH there was a place out here that did that.
we get store credit at one place. its usually...
50 for 1st
25 for 2nd
i just buy cards with that money, and sell them on ebay for cash. lol.
another store gives away packs. but its a REALLY nice place.
1st = 10 packs or so
2nd = 8 packs or so
3rd and 4th= 4 packs or so
that place give almost all the tournament entry away, and its only a 3 dollar entry! half of what you pay at all the other places. and its got the best competition.
the last place is actually the same as the first- but at a different location. it has 2 stores. so the prizes are pretty much the same. :)
over the summer, me and flip won just about every tournament at the first and 3rd store. man those were good times, lol. at the second store, it was a toss up. tons of the best players in the state were there. ive only been there 6 times, and i placed 1st twice and 2nd twice. i scrubbed the other 2 times, lol.

Well the card shop I go to has cash if you win, its sanctioned also. Besides the store makes 180$ on YGO tourneys a week, not counting MTG, pokemon, heroclix, and mageknight. The store I go to usually makes near $2000 a week profit with Tournaments alone. I didn't include the single cards it sells and comic books and other stuff.

Collectors Lair, I go there every saturday now to duel at a local tourny, what you do to enter is buy a booster pack and then use that to enter and the top (not sure what number, top8 or top 4) get prizes, something like that.
