Well Obelisk Blues, I want to know how consistant we really are. If you played in a tournament, post here. I would like to see you post every week just to see if the people here are consistantly good players.

If you believe you got a low place because of the deck you played, just say so AND post the deck if you want any of us to believe you! :P

4/1/06: 1st Place, 4 rounds

does it have to be a UDE sanctioned tournament? I go to tournements everyweekend...

ronintalken - April 18, 2006 02:31 PM (GMT)
i entered a $1000 dollar tourny. it had under 100 people. (but all the best in the state were there.)

i lost 1 match to lexion (9th at shonen jump indy)
i was winning like a mofo game 1. i had mirror force AND torrential set, a mobius on the fiend, and a facedown sangan, AND 5 cards in hand. he had 1 card set. THATS it. lol. i had 4k life, he had 1100.

he draws. plays heavy storm, and chains return from a different dimension.
he beat me like that.

game 2, i just beat him. badly.

game 3 went into time. he went first, and drew his burn.

then i won a few, and then i played this one guy...

game 1:

i run 21 monsters. in 10 cards, i drew 1 tsukuyomi, 1 chaos sorcerer. those were my only monsters. oh- and i drew pot of avarice AND call of the haunted.
i actually almost won that game... lol.

game 2:

pretty much the same thing happened SOMEHOW. but- i won anyway.

game 3:

i was winning by a LOT. what happenes?

me-
Field: facedown mirror force, faceup mobius
6 cards in hand
6000 life points

him-
Field: nothing
3 cards in hand
600 life points

i end, knowing i win next turn.

he draws. smiles.
summon cyber dragon
snatch steal
sacrafice your mobius for jinzo
limiter removal
GAME

woooooooowww....

so thats how i lost out on an ipod....

but enrique came in 4th, so at least one of us walked away with money. he got $100.

4/14: 1st Place. 4 rounds. funny really, 2 of the four rounds were running a similiar deck to mine...spellcasters.

Darth Vader - April 19, 2006 01:49 PM (GMT)
4/18 : at a(n) 32 people double elimination traditional tournement at a hobby shop near me, I achieved 2nd place. I found it funny to win against people who were like "feel the power of chaos; there is no way you can win lol" If you want me to post the deck i will. I was running a spellcaster deck, and using M.D. to stop targeting effects such as ring :D

Prize: 2 Packs of SOI 5 Packs of DR2
Total 7
Entry fee $5

Sadly, yesterday was the last tournament at the comic shop, but I missed to because of Prom. I will try to attend tournaments in a nearby town, but probably not because of gas prices and als o because I hate driving to that town.

And good luck tomorrow,., vader

I almost got in the top eight (possibly top four)... if only i hadn't blown up wave motion on turn 6.... ahwell 19th out of like 280 people isn't that bad.

Darth Vader - July 23, 2006 10:53 PM (GMT)
Another regionals gone by.. again missing the top 8 due to my activating of cyber stein too early. Then again 17th isn't too bad with a "Stein Out" deck.

Drizzt Do'Urden - July 24, 2006 07:34 PM (GMT)
My Chaos deck has been doing awesome!

7/15/06: 1st, 4 rounds, 4-0
