Chazz is funnier. So I like him more. He has a better-looking hairstyle than Jaden too. And a better-looking Obelisk uniform. But then, since I'm only at like, the 15th ep or something, my understanding of the two (and the other characters) are still limited.

The cards look ok too, though some of the cards from Yu Gi Oh GX looks....weird.

I agree with that some cards in yugioh gx looks wierd and I like jaden better because he is more funnier

by his looks probably but still the newest episode is called the next king of games ( at least i think it is going to be new I looked it up at cartoonnetwork.com) you still never know what the creators of it are going to do with it

^ What are you talking about? All of the YGO episodes were made in Japan, which were then translated in English, so we americans don't have anything to do with the makings of the YGO episodes.

Nobody knows that exept for the Japanese people, remember YGO originated in Japan in 1996, so Japan is a couple of years ahead of us!

so you never will know until it comes to america and gets translated into english for us to watch.

Japan I doubt is years ahead of America, only the manga/anime that don't have games related will have that year-lapse before being shipped over to the US, YGO, as it was very popular back then (both the show and the game), is different. Which is why it's almost immediately shipped to the US and broadcasted. Besides, you guys are lightyears ahead of me. I'm still at the 17th episode here.

I like Gx cause of the cool cards but dont like regular yu-gi-oh show because of all the friendship stuff every 5 minutes.

I like Chazz better cause i've seen sum season 2 eps in japanese and Chazz gets cooler.

I like YGO because Takahashi-Sensei knows how to write a good story. I never saw Zorc and the Ultimate Dark RPG coming at all. Needless to say, I am pissed at GX because how little story it has. Compare to DM, GX is like the GT of Dragon Ball Series. All Judai does is topdeck every episode using some crappy situation E-Heroes. It's only gotten worse since the 2nd Season. Neospacians have some of the most situational effects ever (Glowmoss anyone?). Their Fusions go back to the Fusion Deck at the end of the turn... Then there's the other characters. Manjoume turned White and has remained that way for over 20 eps now. Wow is it getting old. The only reason I even watch it anymore is because of Edo and hoping to see some more Dinos from Kenzan so that they finally get some good ones.

Actually, I thought the original series went ok until it reached the Pharaoh's Arc series part, it was kinda crappy, and many parts weren't logical at all (logic as in the logic of the anime/manga, not of this world, as we obviously don't have virtual monsters and duelists running all over the place when you walk out your front door) I mean, in the manga, sometimes Yami Bakura hint heavily that he's a fusion of Zork, Touzokuou Bakura sama, and Ahkunadin, but then suddenly he's saying he's getting rid of useless pawns (the part where he turned Touzokuou Bakura sama into a pile of sand in the manga), but if Bakura sama was a "useless pawn", then how the heck did he appear, if Bakura sama was part of him? And the show never explained why Bakura sama's Ka was a good Ka and not an evil one as they all thought he should have, being a thief as he was. And Kisara had like almost no parts at all in the manga, she appeared lying on the streets being stoned, gets rescued by Priest Seth, is locked into a dungeon, taken out and blasts a prisoner into smithereens with Priest Seth while unconsious, and dies after Priest Ahkunadin (turned into the High Dark Priest later). Then she gets zapped into Priest Seth's body, blasts Ahkunadin away, and gives her blessings to Seth, and stays by his side afterwards. Hey, she hasn't even been with Seth for like, over one hour, and Seth wasn't very nice to her while in the dungeons (except for when he ran over to help her from the rabid prisoners), so how the heck did she end up liking Seth so much in the end?
Anyways, there were loads of stuff that were weird in the PA series, so I can't say I like it too much, except that Bakura sama was soooooo sexy in them = w =

Yu Gi Oh GX I suppose is worse, probably because I see no particular character I like in there except Chazz because he's funny. Jaden just always draws out those particular cards every single duel. I mean, wtf? He must at least have 40 cards in his deck, how the heck does he always draw out those same cards every single goddamn duel?? And it's always those sucky monsters...........

I love the yugioh regular series also but it is ok on the gx I only liked jaden and Cyrus

I have not yet experienced this "GX" people rant on about so my opinion...remains...unopinionated XD that's not a word but i don't care.
I love the original Yu-Gi-Oh because it offered something new. Most animes are the impossible but this is somewhat realistic. I understand you may rant back at me about the holographics and the crazy storylines etc etc the magical past and items whatever but I'm talking the card game here.
Pokemon spawned a revolutionary turn about in gaming history, Yu-Gi-Oh for me personally follows quite closely. An anime AND a card game...how awesome. Then Duel Masters tried to rip it off XD Funny...

My final and most important reason I love Yu-Gi-Oh is because they made me discover Eric Stuart as Seto Kaiba (and other anime charactes whom i've also fallen for XD) so WOOT!

I like the characters in the original YGO, and the fact that you can sort of relate to them by playing the TCG. That's why I started playing.
