I think it's terrible. X_X

Let's put Magician of Faith at two, and to make it even better let's unban Graceful Charity.

What could they possibly be thinking?! We are going in reverse now.
Chaos Control = Cookie Cutter
Dark World is now very playable
They did nothing with Spirit Reaper. X_X
Mirror Force for Dark Hole is not much of an exchange. They are both good. I guess I'd rather have Mirror Force over Dark Hole.

So, basically what I am seeing here is that they ban cards that have no effect on us like Time Seal and unban broken cards like Graceful Charity.

Topdecker - March 18, 2006 01:17 AM (GMT)
Actually do you know about the knew OTK involving Mask of Darkness, Tsukuyomi, and time seal or drop off?

anyway yeah i agree it does suck.

yatalocker - March 18, 2006 01:32 AM (GMT)
Yes, but no one uses it. It is of no threat to us; however, Graceful Charity, MoF and Chaos Sorcerer are.

Newzfoxjr - March 18, 2006 03:35 AM (GMT)
Cyber Jar! Crap, there goes Vindictive, Merchant and MoF control. Mirror Force is back, after I traded for 2 billion Sakurestus. ._.

Drop Off, limited? Well, I'm not some serious expert with specific names for decks like Monkey, so eh.

Dark World will be bigger with Graceful Charity back. Obv.

Anyway, I'm glad it's out now at least.

CCCC is back! :(

As I have said before, I already have a CCCC deck built for the new format. The ban list didn't really do too much but I will say there is a little more thinking involved. Cyber Dragon should've been limited to 1. Cyber Dragon is game changing and an early killer.

I will be making a Dark World deck soon so I'll see how much Graceful helps.

Topdecker - March 18, 2006 04:44 PM (GMT)
Cyber Dragon should be to 1 cuz there are the other new cyber dragons in SOI. But i guess cause yugioh is a global game so they have to follow what japan does also.

Tyrin Claw - March 18, 2006 05:45 PM (GMT)
This was already posted. XD But I guess a new thread works better.

Mirror Force is preferable to Dark Hole. It's not as broken...by much.

At least D.D. Assailant got hit. Cyber Dragon needed it much more, but this time apparently Konami was more worried about killing OTK than actually changing the metagame.

That is, with the exception of returning Graceful Charity. Woohoo, we now have a zuber Dark World card. ._.

Actually Vash, the guy that one today's Regional's in Texas was using a tsuky lock deck lol.

But anyway, the list doesn't fix any of the problems we had. I would have liked to see reaper and/or cyber at 1. But hey, we got graceful and 2 NoC back. Hooray for that.

Topdecker - March 19, 2006 12:54 AM (GMT)
yes, now with NoC and MoF back to 2 and graceful back you probably won't see magical merchant or locomotive back anymore.

Tom - March 19, 2006 02:22 AM (GMT)
Well at least NoC balances out Faith.

Raige - March 19, 2006 02:39 AM (GMT)
I love the new list. I understand their reasoning. I'm gonna miss Dark Hole though.

D.D.WARRIOR - March 19, 2006 03:25 AM (GMT)
for starters....mirror force will only be back for these 6 months then it WILL be banned again...merchants may stilled be slightly played but not too many dekos, more of tsuko for the new format, golld will be over played, and who cares about book of taiyou? this ban list probably wont effect the current meta game too much...at least in my opinion.

-Bishop- - March 19, 2006 04:06 AM (GMT)
The new list is retarded. They tried to destroy a deck which wasn't even good.

The trend shows that Konami's IQ drops every 6 months.

Good Notes:

- Bounder was never good.
- Abyss Soldier was not good with Sinister gone
- 2 NoCs are needed.
- Graceful Charity is needed.

Destroying good cards create bland formats like the current one.

And if a DW player uses GC just scooop, it's not worth playing against them after they +3. I and a lot of other people are prone to believe that this does not give them the stability that they need.

Topdecker - March 19, 2006 04:19 AM (GMT)
Even with Graceful out DW is still inconsistent and i still think very few will win SJs or Regionals.
