We're merging with a site called Duelist Academia.



WAIT. I know what you're thinking! We're not changing the name or the URL or anything. The only thing that will be changing is some of the sections and staff members.

Duelist Academia is really popular, and there's like 5-12 members on all the time. Why? Because it's like Yugioh GX and there is dorms. Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, and Obelisk Blue.


Anyway, just wanted to give the heads up. It's still in the confirmation process right now so that's all I can tell you.

I don't think there are repeat names. And like all sites there are noobs who spam, write ignorant posts, ect. You can pretty much connect maturity level with there dorm. I will definitly fix decks, as will Jedah. The OB people we currenty have will also.
The transition with the member groups and forum maks will be the biggest. Otherwise 4-5 new forums will be added.

You'll be happy then, they post a lot in the deck area.

They have to register here, so there won't be repeat names. There isn't going to be some magical fusion where their info and members are moved here.

When you said "we're" that usually means we are the one merging and that would mean we would have to change our names.

What you ought to do is completely re-organize the mod team, so that nobody feels like they're being cheated of positions or something. Are the YGON mods even active anymore? (I don't feel like checking who they are...I don't remember anymore...)

I have a question about the "dorms"

If they are like clans, would the leaders be staff members and would you have to take a "entry exam" to be placed in them>

The staff and maybe a few select members would be teachers. And yes, you have to take an entry exam. But people from Duel Academia will automatically be placed in the dorms they were in.

No one has to take them, but I think it's the only way into a dorm.

Yes, that's the only way to be put in a dorm. Maybe we'll have something where you can be put in SR automatically if you don't want to take the test. And we need a member group called the Shadow Riders as well to represent the new Shadow Riders on GX.

Do you choose which dorm you take the exam for? Or does it move you into one depending on your answers? o.o

If these questions are about the rules of yugioh, I'm in the Obelisk Class already. If it's other stuff like situations and your personality, count me out I the exam.

It's a mix of both. I have a feeling you'll be in Obelisk Blue anyway, Drizzt.
