Hayao Miyazaki's movies are insanely awesome!!! Some of his works include:
My Neighbor Totoro
Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Kiki's Delivery Service
Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind
Porco Rosso
The Cat Returns
Howl's Moving Castle

The point of this thread...?

It's anime. We can discuss the movies.

Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are really nice...
I own them both.
But I actually didn't realised yet that they both were from Hayao Miyazaki... :tired:

Yup! They are really great! The only two I haven't seen (that are out in America) are Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, and The Cat Returns.

Either you named a movie too much or it should be 3 that you still haven't seen.
Princess Mononoke is really cool. You really ought to see it.
You know, I bought Princess Mononoke as an import. They didn't released that one here.
I also saw another movie of Hayao Miyazaki in a store... yet I forgot what one that was... :tired:
It sounded like a good movie... yet I saw another movie that I wanted to buy somewhat longer...
So I bought that one instead the one of Hayao.

Thanks for pointing out my fault.
Princess Mononoke is out in America. I just saw a Miyazaki movie called Only Yesterday, but it was in Japanese and there's one about these racoon things on right now. I guess there are more than I thought, lol.

My favorite is Howl's Moving Castle, I'm thinking of buying the DVD someday. The others are good too, but my fav's Howl.

My neighbor Totoro is excellent! My favorite by far. Hilarious too!

Cartoon Network is showing 4 of his movies starting March 18th. I'll be watching them. ^_^

oooh which ones?
Andrew has the box collection of Ghibli films, of course Howl's Moving Castle isn't in it as of yet.
My favourite is a tie between Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away. The story and soundtrack are so moving - gets me every time

I'm not sure, they didn't say. Or they did and I missed it. :|
EDIT: Here they are. o.o
Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind

=O We had a series of his work on TV everyday on Disney channel a while back, I missed most of them as my exams clashed fantastically with them >_>

ouch nasty TB.
I've only seen two of his films. Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away.

I've only seen Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, and Kiki's Delivery Service. Oh and Spirited Away. I bought Howl's Moving Castle only on an impulse because I thought that the director was good. I wasn't let down, oddly enough. Twenty bucks well spent.
I think it was Princess Mononoke which got me into anime...though, I'm not too sure.

I thought it'd be nice to just declare that Howl's Moving Castle is my third favourite film of all time after American Beauty and Brokeback Mountain.
Howl's is just awesome. I've watched it loads of times and i'm still not bored of it WOO! :)
