Kurtboy - December 22, 2005 01:12 PM (GMT)
Here you have it, an official movie thread, tell us about any movie you have seen recently, and rate it or whatever. :)
Hmm, the latest film i saw as king kong o.O;
I really enjoyed it, i think the graphics were amazing.
JoMa - December 23, 2005 08:41 PM (GMT)
It was?
I haven't seen it yet... but I might go and see it...
I guess the last movie I saw in the cinema was Charlie and the Chocolat Factory...
My my... I really need to go to the cinema again >.<
Anyways, I really loved Charlie and the Chocolat factory.
Johnny Depp was really cool in it.
And even if you loved the old version, this version is also cool. It just takes another twist of the story.
(I really need to get it on DVD)
Touzokuou Bakura - December 24, 2005 04:48 AM (GMT)
I need to go and see that Narnia movie and King Kong, but haven't got the time yet :( I might go and see it soon...
But why are there dinosaurs in King Kong?
Vargrant Legend - December 25, 2005 03:34 AM (GMT)
I want to see Narnia... =o!
Last film I saw at the movies.....Probobly "The Hitch-Hikers Guide to The Galaxy"..
Touzokuou Bakura - December 26, 2005 02:29 PM (GMT)
I've seen that one! Though it was boring and I stopped watching after about half an hour into the movie...
Finished Narnia! ^_^ It was kinda interesting...but why does Tolkien and the author of the Narnia series all have something against wolves dammit?! -_-

-_- oh boy...
I was planning to watch The Hitch-Hikers Guide to The Galaxy...
But I got the feeling it isn't as funny as it seemed to be...
But I do think that that depressed droid is pretty cool. So I am going to watch it after all :P
Tyrin Claw - December 27, 2005 08:37 PM (GMT)
The last movies I saw in theaters were King Kong, Narnia, and Goblet of Fire.
King Kong was okay. Not bad for a monster movie.
The Chronicles of Narnia was great! One of my favourite movies of the year. ^_^
Goblet of Fire was wretched. Only thing going for it was good visual effects.
Bloody Lovin' - December 29, 2005 12:18 AM (GMT)
Uhhhh. Recently, I've watched some older movies, 3,000 miles to Graceland, The longest yard, Lords of Dogtown (Great movie, though it's alot diffrent from the orginal Z boys story.)
And King Kong was a good movie, though sadly he got owned.
Vargrant Legend - December 29, 2005 12:42 AM (GMT)
Saw Ringer last night. It owns.
"When the fcuk did we get ice cream?"
Tom - December 29, 2005 06:07 AM (GMT)
Narnia....was.....GREAT! :D
Very solid acting, kept true to the book, and was overall entertaining. I'm defenatly going to have to see it again. Though my next movie to see is King Kong.
iloveatem - December 29, 2005 06:10 AM (GMT)
Seen Narnia and King Kong. I loved Narnia, it was brilliantly accurate to the book.
Kong has amazing graphics, best I've ever seen, however the overall movie was too long *slightly over 3 hours*
Touzokuou Bakura - December 29, 2005 01:34 PM (GMT)
.......I'll see if I can get my parents to let me watch King Kong soon...
Barrel End Dragon - December 29, 2005 07:28 PM (GMT)
last movie i saw was harry potter 4,it was pretty good, the book was better but ,it was still good.
Touzokuou Bakura - December 30, 2005 02:42 PM (GMT)
HP movies cut away too many of the good parts from the book, so I prefer reading the books. The movies I watch, but sometimes I fall asleep during it...
ronintalken - February 18, 2006 10:22 PM (GMT)

sheetro - February 19, 2006 01:15 AM (GMT)
Last film I saw was Brokeback Mountain

It's now one of my top favourite films of ALL TIME! That's how impressed I was. It wasn't brilliantly editted and altogether put together but it was an amazing storyline that hits the heart.
Definitely made me think afterwards.
GO SEE IT!!!
Raige - February 19, 2006 01:17 AM (GMT)
My favorite movie ever is THE WALL! The Star Wars series, Castle in the Sky, and Anchorman are all great too! I really want to see Date Movie, V for Vendetta, and Soldier Side Story though.

Raige - February 19, 2006 04:13 AM (GMT)

Touzokuou Bakura - February 19, 2006 05:15 AM (GMT)

sheetro - February 20, 2006 02:46 PM (GMT)
Yups Touz, it's about gay cowboys.
Thing is, they never EVER say "love" so it makes it that much more special and heart wrenching.
Beautiful film.
I heard Laputa: Castle in the Sky being mentioned. The English dub was hilarious! One of my fave films ever. Kicks butt!
Check out Howl's Moving Castle too, genius film, one of Ghibli's best but still doesn't outdo Spirited Away.
Touzokuou Bakura - February 21, 2006 12:02 PM (GMT)
Hmmm....now I gotta watch it...>_> I'll just have to find time for it.
I love Howl's Moving Castle!! ^___^ *pokes Howl*

Touzokuou Bakura - February 24, 2006 12:54 PM (GMT)
Chicken Little was boring? I thought it was ok...
Batman Begins sucked...it was boring and many of it clashed with the book I have at home.
And lol yeah, Howl was so funny when he came racing out of the bathroom screaming about his hair...XDDD
ronintalken - February 24, 2006 05:18 PM (GMT)
not only is Taxi driver is the 47th best movie ever made, i found it extremely AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! it was awesome!
sheetro - February 24, 2006 07:09 PM (GMT)

Batman looked rubbish...i dislike action films but that car thing...wow
ronintalken - February 24, 2006 09:09 PM (GMT)
- my roomate is going to be a director, and he actually has the list of 100 greatest movies of all time, as chosen by critics. lol. Taxi Driver hits 47th. :)
- i thought batman would be stupid. but it really hit hard on the psycology behind the "batman". it was pretty interesting. and the cinamatography was BEAUTIFUL. some points you were just like.. is this a batman movie? (its up for academy awards in cinamatography).
Touzokuou Bakura - February 25, 2006 01:49 AM (GMT)
I only watched part of the Batman movie, I lost interest in it after half an hour of boredom...
We already have the Howl DVD here :P Only problem is, I can't seem to find it anywhere -__-

Touzokuou Bakura - February 26, 2006 09:20 AM (GMT)
^ XD
I'll probably be able to find it in just about any DVD store...but my dad says I'll never have time to watch it anyways, so I shouldn't bother...-_- Maybe I should try buying it behind his back someday, if I can find myself a DVD shop that's around the area...
sheetro - February 26, 2006 11:07 AM (GMT)
