Anyway, I usually play with a different deck every week and last Saturday I used Dark World and it wasn't very structured so I didn't do well. I mean I won 4 times but, I beat really crappy ppl and they dropped out and that is why I didn't make the top four.

Also, feel free to post whatever deck you entered with and you can give a round by round explanation if you wish.

Somehow I got 7th again...there were more people this time though. ^_^ And it was a lot more fun, my deck did work, just not well enough to win entire Matches (at least not against these annoying netdecks). I think I need to make a purely fun deck, with no intention of winning, and see what happens. Somehow I do better with those.

It was intresting day, I came in second place, losing to my fellow teammate in the finals. I dueled Brain Long in the semi-finals. I can tell you this, he isn't very nice. I beat him 2-0 here, but in the 4th round of the tournament when I dueled him I lost 0-2. =\

My teammate and I split packs, we got a box and 8 packs of TP7, which turned out to be 14 pakcs each.

I pulled nothing, but he pulled a super Breaker! He deserves it for winning though. ;)

i just got back from missouri regionals.

i placed 1st.
then, when i got to the top 8 table, i won the first match, then lost to the guy that won. so i got 3rd place.

yay. ive been to 2 regionals this format, and ive top 8ed at both!

I just got back from the Nashville Regionals

I went 5-3 and got 33 place. The top 32 got prizes! I ran the same deck I used when I went 7-1 in Louisville. I'll tell you my losses.

1st Loss (2nd round):

Earth Control

I couldn't draw Heavy Storm or Mobius while he had a Golem Sentry face down. He keep hitting me because I drew no traps either. It sucked.

2nd Loss (4th round):

Earth/Zombie

Let's just say my deck doesn't do well when I get Creature Swap used on me.

3rd Loss (8th round):

Flip-Flpo Ninja Control

I hadn't played the deck before so I was kinda confused. Needless to say I lost.

The weirdest thing about this is that all those came 2-1 and this is how the second game went for all 3:

1st: 6600-0
2nd: 7700-0
3rd: 8000-0

Luck is so very frustrating.

Aw man, you JUST got shut out of the prizes, that sucks. That's still a good number though, some people get like in the 100's.

yesterday i went 6-2 (BOO! man im angry with myself, lol) and got 21/250. i was soooo close to making 3 top 8s in a row, lol.

I hated our tournament Saturday. We only had 13 ppl (which is actually what we usually have) and we went to top 8! I was angry. I probably wouldn't have lost if it wasn't for that. I swear the person I played cheated some how. I cut his deck every time but he managed to draw the EXACT cards he needed. He drew 2 Enemy Controller in a row while he had Royal Decree out and he drew a Widespread Ruin the turn after I destroyed his Decree.

assuming your opponent cheated or is just really lucky is a cop out bro. im wonding how you were...
A- unable to handle royal decree
B- unable to handle enemy controllers.

they are 0-1 cards after all. r u running 3 dust tornados? they definitly help. i just dont wanna see you not trying to learn from a loss, even if it was an opponent getting a perfect draw.

Well I didn't side deck in my Dust Tornado or my other Mobius.

Seriously, if you had been dueling him, you would have laughed. Not the haha laugh but the I can't believe this $hi+ laugh.

well- thatll happen against anyone if you arent maindecking either 2 mobius or 3 dust tornado, lol. personally- i choose 3 dust tornado. i cant really imagine running a deck without them anymore. (cept the wierd kind, lol)

I went with a Marauding Captain/Sacred Crane deck today. It went 5-0 which suprised me a little. I 2-0'd Brent Yetter.

In the 1st round of top 8 I had Dust f/d and Nobleman in my hand. He had 3 cards in his hand and treeborn frog. I thought I would lose if I didn't draw something good. He summons Wildheart and attacks direct. He sets a card and I dust it. I drew Call of the Haunted. I set it. I had Chaos Sorcer in my grave, so I could get rid of Treeborn and Wildheart if I was lucky. I saw he already used x2 Smashing and Snatch. He Topdecked Pot of Avarice and I was a little angry. With Avarice he drew into Charity and with Charity he drew into Goldd. X_X I knew I hadn't lost yet, I still had a chance. He played Mystical Space Typhoon on Call and I scooped. =\

I got 1 pack of CRV, and pulled Cyber Dragon! I was pretty happy about that. ;)
