I hate the original Yugioh. Non-realistic duels, "friend", "destiny" and stupid arcs, bleh.
Yugioh GX > Yugioh.

I like Yu-Gi-Oh! GX better than the original one. I hated the whole concept of friendship that the old one had, it was way too repetitive. Besides, the new one is more realistic, since the plot doesn't mainly involve millenium items and the decks that the new characters use are more playable than the ones the old ones used.

I like the original more. I hate to say it... but the GX dubbed voices may be worse then the normal yugioh's... The characters in the original yugioh are just easier to like and you learn more about their backgrounds. In GX, if you think about it, you know little about the characters. Judai is extremely upbeat and not too bright. Sho is very unsure of himself and acts kinda gay.... anyway, Hayato likes to eat and he likes Koalas... see what I mean? GX just doesn't have much of a story or any character complexity. But thats just my oppinion. Don't get me wrong, I DO like GX, just the original yugioh more.

More playable!? Are you crazy!? Have you even seen the duels!? Jaden has used Pot of Greed almost every one of his duels! Not to metion his deck is the E-Heros and a lot of radomness. More playable, I think not.

Actually, their decks are more realistic...just look at Yugi's, Joey's, even Marik's decks...they're all random cards thrown together...

Keep in mind that the shows were made in Japan before they were brought here. Since making the show advanced format would conflict between ban lists and air times in other countries, they made the game traditional format (somewhat, they did mention that CED was banned but BLS wasn't) and made every deck different.
I pick GX because of what I said in the other topic.

It might have been better if you had divided into it's 3 series, rather than squashed series 1 and series 2 into one.
Series 1 (A Shadow Game)
Series 2 (Duel Monsters)
Series 3 (Genex)
I prefer Series 1, to Series 2. But Genex is ok from the 61 episode I've seen.

The original.Anyway,Cyrus and Mr.Crowler freak me out.I wouldnt cry if my best frriend went someplace after an argument and then hug him.Weirdos man.As for the actual dueling-
GX has really short duels that last 10 turns or less.At least in the original,the duels lasted longer and went either way.Remember Possessed Joey vs. Yami Yugi?An hour long.The longest duel I've ever had was exactly an hour long because Gravity Bind and Level Limit Area B couldnt get off the field.
