October 1st will be a happy day! Soldier will finally die, and the game will be a little more balanced. The sad thing is you need soldier to keep up with the competiton.

Look at these decks lists, no they didn't copy and paste the same deck 8 times. =|

Metagame, Boston SJC Decklists

Well, just for conversation, I'll tell a story. ^_^

I honestly think that the following cards are overrated -

Morphing Jar (slightly overrated)
Tsukuyomi (slightly overrated)
Sinister Serpent (WAY overrated)
Scapegoat (WAY overrated)
Metamorphisis/Thousand-Eyes Restrict (Moderately Overrated)

I know Soldier is VERY good, but I thought I could prove a point by not using it in my deck.

I entered my local tournament with this deck, no serpent, no goats, no Tsukuyomi, no Morph, and No Soldier. ( I was using Morphing Jar at the time )

Well the tournament is Swiss, 5 rounds, then a top 8.

For the first 5 rounds, I went 4-1, so I made top 8! :)

In the quaterfinals, I had to play my friend, who I had told the idea to. To make a long story short, he beat me with Soldier twice.

So now, I'm forced to use Soldier, even I have to give in and just use the damn thing. I hate, but as I said in the beginning, you need it to keep up with the competiton.

Burn, Benkai OTK, Mill, Machine OTK => no soldier.

Soldier decks are the only decks that win consitently. That's why everyone uses them.

I thought we weren't sure what list we were getting anymore? O.o

We aren't sure, but BLS is probably on it.

I predict that we will get the list sometime next week. >_>

*sigh* I was surprised that a mill or a cyber stein OTK deck didn't make the top 8. All the decks were the dang same!!!!! The ONLY things I liked are that the winner used different dimension capsule, main decked 3 sakuretsu armors with mirror force, and main-decked an injection fairy lilly. the runner up main-decked a monster reincarnation. Also, a few people maindecked a magical merchant, cyber dragon, and big shield guardna.

Sad to say.... the side decks are more interesting than the main decks!
