Title: VERY slow days ahead?
Description: Where is everyone?
SynjoDeonecros - September 14, 2005 09:47 PM (GMT)
Seems like, recently, the whole of this place has been more or less abandoned. Yes, I am well aware that school has started up again and all that, but I didn't really expect it to make THIS much of an impact. Now, all we have, are very scant posts, with a bunch of dead threads everywhere. What's going on? Where is everyone?

The site is dead. No one has been advertising (Why would they), Not enough people want to donate (So we can have a chance at a bigger better site), etc.
If you all donate, the bigger site will be a success

Are you sure and what exactly is in it for us? Well I guess we will know everyone still and have our reputation up so never mind.
I mean it is sort of hard to donate. Hurricane Katrina has screwed everything up. And I like to enterr the tournaments and buy Yugioh cards just like everyone else.
Why don't some of the older ppl with steady jobs donate? I'm only 14 years old and I don't have a steady job.
I think that the newer site will be better but we will need to advertise for it.

Not completely dead. There are still the regular and loyal people that come here day in a day out (even if it is just to post in the message board games section). When a site is dead, it can be deleted without heartache of anyone, but I would hate it if this site was shut down.

I agree with iloveatem...

Yes, it's true, the site is definately not as active as it used to be, but it doesn't mean we can just shut it down. Seriously, even if it is like 10 people who come in regularly, it's always better than none.

Double post alert! Kill him!
J/k :D
I do the same thing.
Back to the topic at hand. I made a list on another part and it is maybe 15 - 20 regular members.

So since it's a donation, does that legally mean that we can use it to write it off as a tax refund?
And uh, we have lives that aren't revolved around forum-ing and yu-gi-oh.

I don't think the site is dead at all.
I post everywhere I can, every chance I get and to everyone I can! I love this site more than any other site.
Perhaps it's because the hype of Yu-Gi-Oh is slowly dying like Digimon and/or Pokemon did. But that doesn't mean we have to shut it down!
I'm not 100% on moving the site either btw. I like it here, where we've already posted. I don't know, maybe that's just me...
I also agree with iloveatem!! *protests with banners saying: keep the site!*

What killed it is the Site's Hacking... or whatever it was. The time period where the site was online dramatically decreased the number of members who came. Besides, i bet about 100 members are actually members taht have already signed up, but with different names.
