Title: State of the Spawngod Address
Description: solves people's questions about me

ProfessorBrimstone - August 24, 2005 03:31 PM (GMT)
Note: Some parts are ment to mimic the actual state of the union address, such as the time to applause and to stand applause, to add some realism, and some things I say will never happen, but I'll say it anyway for realism (just listen to president Bush, you'll see what I mean). Happy reading!

My fellow Americans........and Asians, Europeans, Australians, and to all fellow Yu-gi-oh players across the world. I am here today to discuss many with you that have circulated my mind in the last few months. I am very honored that I can take this part of your time and listen to what I'm going to say. I will discuss about problems with the game, problems with my life, and what can be done to these issues.

First, we need to discuss about the problems of the game. As many of you are aware, the game of "duel monsters" is currently in a dilemma. There are too many "staple" cards in the game. Also, the people of Konami have done too great of a job in reprinting valuable cards in lower rariety; therefore, this has caused too big of an environment of similar decks. We need to just gather together, test those cards more effectively, and create the perfect ban list that can eventually satisfy all!! (standing applause)
Not every single powerful card needs to be accessable to every single player in the world; that's why cards are not too valuable anymore. Sure, some should be accessable, such as nobleman of crossout, mystical space typhoon, and premature burial, to give everyone a good start, but not every single "staple" card should be accessable for less than $22 (applause) (note: that's the approximate cost of 2 structure decks in America)
Every single person now can make a tournament winning deck with too much ease! If someone wants to make a great, cheaply costed deck, use the authentic commons and a few rares and make something original! (standing applause)
There is another solution for the "cookie-cutter" craze: If someone wins a major tournament, do NOT allow others outside the tournament be able to publish the deck that won the tournament. Ladies and Gentleman, that is what we call plagerism, and it should be a crime in this game! (applause)
Not everything can and will be perfect in this game, but with the help from each other, we can make this game much more fun! (applause)
In addition, when you play, don't copy much of other people's decks; be creative! Make something original to try to beat the "tier-1" decks, and even if you do not win, if you have fun, then that is all that matters. (standing applause)

Now let's move on to a bit of personal information. You all asked around: "where are you?" "did you die?" "did you get kidnapped?" (mild laughs)
All are incorrect; I have just been having a lack of internet access. LIke I mentioned before, I am at a different school, and I will tell you why I'm now at West Virginia State University instead of Marshall University.
I had such a terrible roomate. I have complained about him much earlier this year on this site. He was an a**hole, jerk, child, self-centered, a baby, and emotionless beyond all words! His snoring gave me consective, countless, sleepless nights. Now mix that in with the death of my grandmother late last year (who I have spent about half my life with), and it was a terrible time. I have became the very honorable, sweet man that I am because of her; from 6th grade until I attended college, I spent nearly every weekend helping her, nearly eliminating my social life, while she was ill during my whole life, and from every ages 3-9, she was my neighbor, and I visited her nearly everyday. Let's have a moment of silent to honor the loss of one of the nicest, most caring women to ever grace this earth........ (silence)................. Thank You.

Place those two facts together, and I was a helpless, emotional wreck with no one to turn to. I couldn't sleep, I'd cry at night, I gained some weight, and I hated life so much that I strongly considered suicide. Therefore, I did not go to class, and I failed all my classes! I lost so many grants and scholorships that I had no choice but to transfer to a local college and have my mother take control of my life. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I go with my mother to work, and she drops me off along the way to campus at 7:30 a.m. To get an idea of when I can be on, here is my current schedule:

10-10:50 A.M. MWF
2:30-3:45 MW
4-5:50 M
7-8:45 P.M. MW

At anytime between these times on these days only, and no later than 4:30 on Fridays, you can cath me on this site helping others and voicing opinions. Not necessarly by the best way possible, but ladies and gentleman, I have officially returned (standing applause)
My mother may be controlling my career right now, but she cannot control my fun with Yu-gi-oh and on this site! (standing applause)
To close, I have an important announcement to make. Due to the facts that I live at home and have lack of gaming access, I currently have no choice but to retire from the game of Yu-gi-oh! (brief silence) However, like most celebrities, there is a chance that I will return to the game. I will still follow the progress of the game, learn new combos, keep up with what's hot, but a few cards now and then, and assist other with their deck problems, but I will retire from playing the game. However, whenever I do return, I will be stronger than ever, and I will become the best player in the United States of America! (applause)
God bless the Yu-gi-oh players and God bless the world! Good Night. (standing applause)

P.S. If there is anything else that anybody wants to know personally about my life, discuss opinoins, or need assistance, please private message me on this site.

Quitting Yugioh is alot easier than your saying. I have basically quit. What makes it easier is having another hobby to occupy yourself
