Title: Tyrin Claw's Unreal Boosters
Description: Reading Is Believing

Tyrin Claw - July 26, 2005 09:08 PM (GMT)
So! Unless you already heard of the Unreal Boosters, you must be wondering what I'm talking about. In June of 2003, I started creating my own Yugioh cards. Later that summer, I had expanded that into an entire booster--the first Unreal Booster. In other words, the Unreal Boosters are boosters that I created, full of cards I created, using my own imagination (and occasionally borrowing someone else's imagination just for kicks). Below I listed each Unreal Booster with a brief description. There are cards from the anime in there, but if you recognize other cards for some reason or the other, it's probably just coincidence. o_O' There are currently 20 Unreal Boosters, making a total of approximately 1200 cards (20 boosters x 60 cards per booster), so don't expect to read them all at once.

Disclaimer: These boosters were created for entertainment purposes only. They are not real cards and probably never will be.

Click here for a listing of all Unreal Boosters. Otherwise you may use the links below to reach them.

Unreal Booster 1: Legend of Impact
The first Unreal Booster is, of course, Dinosaur-themed. This booster strengthens Dinosaurs into playability. It also introduces the Shadow cards, and adds new drawing power with "Desperate Plea".

Unreal Booster 2: Ocean's Uprising
As the name suggest, Unreal Booster 2 focuses on Water cards, especially Reptiles and the underrepresented Sea Serpents.

Unreal Booster 3: World Revolt
Continuing the pattern of strengthening underrepresented monsters, World Revolt adds new Plant and Pyro monsters to the game, including a new Phoenix! The elemental Wurms also make their debut in this booster.

Unreal Booster 4: Soldiers of the Shadow King
The servants of the mighty "Shadow King Dragon", the largest monster to appear in the Unreal Boosters with a massive 4500 ATK, show their faces in Unreal Booster 4. Focusing on the Dragon-Type, Soldiers of the Shadow King not only powers up Dragons but also throws in cards to stop them, plus a boost to Ritual Monsters.

Unreal Booster 5: Cyclones of Triumph
Wind monsters make an entrance in Unreal Booster 5, with a special boost to Winged Beast-Type monster. Beast-Warriors also get a lift with the Wolfmen and Wolfwomen, and even Rock-Type monsters get a bit of attention.

Unreal Booster 6: Oppression of the Ages
As though they needed it, Zombies get another booster of upgrades in Oppression of the Ages. In addition to the powerful Zombie-based cards is an upgrade to the underrepresented Normal Monster support, plus a focus on one of my favorite monsters: Garoozis.

Unreal Booster 7: Taken to Heart
In contrast to Unreal Booster 6, Taken to Heart gives a hand to the Light monsters, as well as introducing a new wave of Special Summon-only and Nomi monsters. The Trap Card "Ring of Creation" adds a new menace to the Trap lineup.

Unreal Booster 8: The Last Journey
The Last Journey gives cards to all sorts of Types and themes, but special note must be placed on the "Hand Disruptor" cards, the "Meekest Catfish" series, and the "Battlecry" series.

Unreal Booster 9: Awaken Spirits
The time has come to Awaken Spirits! Unreal Booster 9 strengthens Spirit Monsters, as well as Insects and Machine-Type monsters. "Tempest of Oblivion" and "Dictation of Spell" were designed as replacements for "Harpie's Feather Duster" and "Imperial Order"!

Unreal Booster 10: Penetrating the Higher Realm
Penetrating the Higher Realm lends strength to Fiends and Fairys, as well as some great Spell and Trap Cards. But of course, with this mixture of Darks and Lights, Chaos could not be left out...

Unreal Booster 11: Dreams of Mythology
Greek mythology takes a stand in Unreal Booster 11, featuring the gods of Olympus and certain monsters that also appeared! "The Devastator Ultimatum" and "The Warden", each with virtually limitless ATK, can dominate the field, while "Gagagigo" and Equip Cards gain considerable power!

Unreal Booster 12: Raised Echelon
Raised Echelon raises the monster bar! It contains powered-up versions of older monsters, as well as some great new cards that include power bonuses to the Gravekeeper's. Players must beware of the new Trap threats, including "Hikaze Tornado" and "Tsuiraku"!

Unreal Booster 13: Era of Dark Magic
For all "Dark Magician" fans, Era of Dark Magic is the Unreal Booster for you! Strengthening the Spellcasters and Thunder-Type monsters simultaneously, Era of Dark Magic includes many cards that deserve fear...

Unreal Booster 14: Quest for Dominance
The sister booster to Unreal Booster 15, Quest for Dominance takes half of the Attributes and boosts them up: Water, Wind, and Earth. Fish get a bonus, as well as Dinosaurs and Insects.

Unreal Booster 15: Heart of the Champions
Second of the sister boosters, Heart of the Champions continues where Quest for Dominance left off and strengthens Fire, Dark, and Light monsters, including another new Phoenix and powered-up versions of old Spell and Trap Cards!

Unreal Booster 16: Memories of Darkworld
In the heart of Darkworld is a castle, and within this castle, scientists perform experiments on human subjects...creating the Humanoid monsters! The Darkworld cards that have appeared throughout the Unreal Booster series come together here in a conference of utter destruction.

Unreal Booster 17: The Vengeance of Madame Butterfly
In Unreal Booster 17 we see the return of Egyptian themed cards, including three of the Egyptian gods and renewed versions of the God Cards themselves! Spellcasters are given yet another booster, as Madame Butterfly imposes her will and gives the "Butterfly" series their own booster.

Unreal Booster 18: Bindings of the Orichalcos
Straight from the anime, "The Seal of Orichalcos" makes its debut in Unreal Booster 18! Including all of the monsters Dartz ever played and some he didn't, Bindings of the Orichalcos gives Field Cards some much-needed support.

Unreal Booster 19: The Jungle's Influence
Not just any jungle is represented in Unreal Booster 19--it is the Amazon Rain Forest, and the monsters from within are hungry for Life Points! "Mez" and "Ran" combine their powers to make highly dangerous creatures, while the "Resounding Note" series will wipe out your opponent's Deck--if you can manage to use them.

Unreal Booster 20: Advent Elemental
The first three Elemental Masters make their appearance in Unreal Booster 20! Additionally, three warring tribes--the EarthForce, ShineForce, and SkyForce--defend their temples from harm! Reptiles are given a heavy bonus from Advent Elemental as well.

Awesome cards! You have really though these out. Although some of their effects are copied from other monsters, they are still cool. Why don't you take a look at Tom's spam topic. We have made cards on their you might enjoy looking at.

Tyrin Claw - August 10, 2005 03:06 AM (GMT)
Heh. I have looked at some of them. Thanks for looking. :)

And now it's time to unveil Unreal Booster 21: The Zarrock Goblin Rebellion! This booster strengthens Beast-Warriors, as well as monsters that switch to Defense Position on their own. It also includes the final three Elemental Masters, and more support for them!

Enjoy!

As a side note, Unreal Booster 22 is already under production and will focus on Dinosaurs and Dragons. It is also likely that it will be my last Unreal Booster, since my inspiration is nearly spent and hardly anyone cares about them anyway. Not that I'm complaining...ending them would free up more time for me. :P

Tyrin Claw - September 4, 2005 04:41 AM (GMT)
Me again. =o!

Well, it took longer than expected, but Unreal Booster 22 is finally uploaded! Dragonseye focuses on Dinosaurs and Dragons--as promised. Don't be fooled by the name though; Dragonseye comes from the Dinosaur part of the booster, and the novel I might someday write by the same name. You may notice elements of this novel as you read through the booster, especially the Normal Monsters...

Remember, these are only a glimpse of what's inside...I'll tell you something though, DGE contains the monster with the highest original ATK and DEF in the game thus far...

I also hope you enjoy my new setup. You can reach each card from the jump menus at the top of the page, and the rulings are also on the same page now, for easier access. :)

Drizzt Do'Urden - September 5, 2005 01:09 PM (GMT)
Those cards are so OVERPOWERED! :P

Well some of them are overpowered. A monster with 6000 ATK although you summon him by more or less killing yourself. And you are coming out with mosters that have 2200 DEF. Other than that they are cool and well thought out. :)

Tyrin Claw - September 5, 2005 04:09 PM (GMT)
Gear Golem the Moving Fortress has 2200 DEF. :P

Yeah, I really wanted to give Dinosaurs enough power to be competitive. This booster, coupled with Legend of Impact and Quest for Dominance, make Dinosaurs really strong. The Dragons were just in there for the ride. ^_^

They sound pretty cool

I'm surprised that a) this thread is still here, and b) none of those pages have been deleted yet. o.O
