Well, I have a new site coming out in September/October (hopefully) named Anime Lookout, for all kinds of Anime and their TCGs. I've been working on it since January. Yes, it will have it's own domain and won't be free for me to run.




Now, Yu-Gi-Oh Net has been quite slow lately, and I was wondering if we shouldn't just close YGON up when Anime Lookout opens up and we all move there. Anime Lookout will be a Vbulletin Forum, with a shorter URL, more space, better features, etc.


Anyway. These are the Animes we'll have there.

Well, as long as the site has all of the Yu-Gi-Oh! features as this site, then I'm all for "migrating" to Anime Lookout. Sounds like merging them would mean a lot less work for you, and the easier your job is, the better the site can be. The URL will be short, and easy for people to find with such a simple name. So to sum it all up, I'm all for "migrtaing" so long as its Yu-Gi-Oh! Forum is just as expansive as Yu-Gi-Oh_Net's is. ^_^

P.S. Good luck with Anime Lookout, no matter what happens with this whole "merging" idea.

It wouldn't really be merging. You'd all have to re-register and all the posts would be gone. But it would be a million times better than this site.

For me, losing all of the old posts is a small price to pay for a far better Forum. You get my vote,... yes.

Won't the new site seem gigantic compared to this one? I mean 17 animes and maybe 5 or 6 TCGs that go along with them sheesh. Comparing the new site to this one is like comparing an ameba and a blue whale. In other words, the new site is going to be BIG, isn't it?

Anime... don't care. But I guess it won't hurt as long as it stil has TCG.

I spend a decent amount of time as it is dismissing anime & manga as generic, talentless & badly written garbage. The temptation for me to just mock literally everyone online would be far too much for me to take.

Plus I actually HAVE TO poke every dragonball z fan I ever meet with a very pointy stick until they either die or shut up about super saiyans and their mystic energy ball attack x5000 kai gia blast mega dragon ha-do-ken moves.

Yes it would. It's going to have a main site, as in a HTML based .com site. The message board just wouldn't have such extensive sections.

Their is an anime section on this site, but it's hardy as expansive as "animelookout" will be. The funding is of course a problem, but once the money is actually acquired VB is a LOT better then IF. The site will have limitless possibilities, once it can be afforded :P.
