R. A. Salvatore is a science fiction writer. He writes Forgotten Realms books about Drizzt Do'Urden and a fictional drow elf society. He books are great and he makes you imagine and visualize things so that in seems you can see them and touch them. He is a really great author and you should really read some of his books.

I have heard alot about Salvatore, yet I can't say I've read any of his works. Any particular one you would request?

The Dark Elf Trilogy. Its 3 books (hence Trilogy) and they talk about the life of Drizzt Do'Urden. From birth until when he comes to the surface world and makes a home. An outstanding set of books!

Yeah, those are probably the only ones you can read without having to read the first ones. The Dark Elf Trilogy talks about his very early life and the set talks about him on the surface world.
You may get addicted to his books. I did. :P See I read one of the first books in one of his latter series so I have been reading all the books before that to find out how they got to where they are now.
Confusing, isn't it?

Well I have 2 more of his books to read and I'm done with his 24 book series. It hasn't really taken me that long. I read about 12 - 15 of them last school year alone.
Anyway, you definatly need to read all his books so you can read the Hunter's Blade Trilogy. Awesome set of books also.

So, does anyone else read them?
