Title: Anyone here on pojo?
Drizzt Do'Urden - June 30, 2005 10:42 PM (GMT)
I thought that I would ask since pojo is cool too. What I really need to know is that if you are on pojo, how do you post there?
Newzfoxjr - June 30, 2005 11:17 PM (GMT)
I don't like Pojo. The people there aren't nice, and most of the time they're stupid.
SynjoDeonecros - June 30, 2005 11:30 PM (GMT)
Blegh. Pojo's forums? You've GOT to be kidding me. I was a member there, a long while back, but got out after I learned what they're REALLY like. Prettly much, more prissy punk 'elite' duelists who would rather ban you than face an opposing viewpoint. True, I WAS banned from the forum, but only after a heated debate over whether I was wrong in bitching out some guy wo kept on demanding I comment on his deck threads (short answer: no, I wasn't, since it's my right to not comment on anything on a forum if I don't want to, but they didn't see it that way). Frankly, they, like Xenocreative, School of Duel, and even Netrep's own forums, would actually be rather decent if it weren't for all of the a-holes that continuously frequent them. Then again, that's the story for most forums out there, Yugioh or no. Sad, isn't it?

I wasn't banned, but I never came back because of seeing all the flame wars there. Just a bunch of duelists all yelling and insulting each other. You can ask a simple question and then 3 people will insult you, and then a moderator will label it spam and close it. =_=

Okay then I guess I won't stay on there. (they have had over 2,200 members on at a time!)

I'm a member, though am never active. I joined, but left for the same reasons stated by Newz

In my utter bordom, I decided that I would post on pojo. I went on an old account with 88 posts on it. There really is quite a science to pojo. How you post, what you post, and where you post it. I have had 21 posts since coming back to pojo. They were MOSTLY safe posts though. I haven't been flammed on anything yet, but I'm hoping to stay under the radar for my next 880 posts. By then I'l have 1,000 posts and have be able to speak my mind a little more. Thinking to become a moderator is laughable, I just want to survive for now. The thing with pojo isn't you meet a lot of nice and friendly people. You get to learn a lot. The people aren't really that nice, and the light-hearted people tennd to be banned. (Gulp) I think being around a lot of people who are equal to or better then me helps my skills. They have some quality topics over there.
I don't know if I can last over there, but I'm going to try!
In case anyone else here is at pojo (I don't think so) my username is -yatalocker0

yeah, im a member.... probably not for long though. if somone flames me, i flame back. i cant help it. i left school of duel on the first day because some guy spammed on my thread i called him an idiot and a spammer, then i got flamed, i flamed, they flamed, ect. and then more ppl got on his side. and now its known as the "Gilfer incedent", lol. some of those ppl should be banned the way they talk to the mods.i hate school of duel, obolisk blue (another funny story), and maybe pojo. my name is same everywhere, lol.
Hiei, Enraged Demon - July 29, 2005 03:44 PM (GMT)
I regestered and left the same day....it sucks. Like Newz said, the are stupider then rocks and arent nice at all.
monolith_xyber - July 29, 2005 04:14 PM (GMT)
I just check my phone & hey there was a message left for all of pojo's staff;
1980's d&d players called, apparently they are #@)$&*%! at you for making nerds look bad.

Vash, you make it sound all strategic. You almost sound scared to have fun there.
If you can't have fun, it's not worth it.

I don't think it will be fun for a while. The main reason I'm there is to learn. Maybe one day I will make a name for myself and then I could have some fun, maybe makes some new freinds. =|
Gilfer - July 29, 2005 06:35 PM (GMT)
Vash, you wont get a name for yourself if your afraid to post.
yatalocker - July 29, 2005 07:00 PM (GMT)
I'm not afraid to post, I'm afraid to make my own post in a way that would single me out right away. I'm intending to make a name for myself slowly but surely. I'm going to progressivly post advanced topics, and posts that require a lot of thought. A lot of people just dismiss me right now because of my lost post count. =\
Newzfoxjr - July 29, 2005 07:33 PM (GMT)
I joined just because you're there. I'm Secks. :D
Gilfer - July 29, 2005 08:02 PM (GMT)

and vash, your thinking to much, i post, get flamed, flame back, live on. just post what u want.
Drizzt Do'Urden - July 30, 2005 01:07 AM (GMT)
I dislike pojo. I tried to post my best deck on there and no one replied to it! I posted it 2 more times under different names and nothing. I don't think pojo is a very good site.
Is anyone on Yugioh Realms?
Gilfer - July 30, 2005 01:13 AM (GMT)
yes, lol. i dont like it either, it seems as bad as pojo for getting ur decks rated.
NIGHT_HAWKS - July 31, 2005 09:30 PM (GMT)
nope i am not a pojo member
