O.K. I got in a fight with this kid today and beat the living crap out of him. He gets mad and says, "I know where u live and I will come kill u tonight." I wasn't too worried till he actually showed up with a gun. So, my gut says grab ur gun and shoot him in the head. Well, I have really good aim I guess cause I shot the guy. The guy is now dead. I KILLED A GUY. I am dead serious.So, then my gut says "bury him in the woods." I do that and now his parents are all worried about him. I am 16 about to be 17 on the 19th and I don't won't to get charged with murder.

Answer to why I have a gun: It is my dad's, but he told me if I ever needed to use it against intruders not to hesitate. And my mom and dad both work from 6 P.M. to 6 A.M.

This happened at 7. I plan on keeping quiet they won't question me until they figure out he is dead for sure.Which will probably be in about 24-36 hours.

Let's assume this is true...

You are going to get caught. Period. Down the line, you will get caught. People will have seen your fight with him earlier, the police will ask them questions, then they will investigate you, the area your house. They will figure it out. I say turn yourself in, and make it easier on you. Not to mention the fact that if you traded cards with anyone on here, they now have your address, thus someone to testify against you anyways. Just turn yourself in. Assuming this is true anyways.

Now, if this IS serious........
well, you made a mistake by burying his body. You could have gotten away with this and said you had to kill him for self defense. At the time after you killed him, you should have immediately called the police and turn yourself in, and therefore, your punishment would have been reduced, and if in court you could have claimed that the move was an act of self-defense by telling them the whole story. now, since you buried the body, it makes you suspicious that you purpously killed him and your chances of a minimal punishment are very very slim right now. Turn yourself in, confess where the body is, and then claim self-defense. That's the best you can do, because even though you killed someone, your own life was in danger, and self defense is easily the best option.
