I dont play. but I do know the rules. Its very similar to Magic the Gathering. Its like MtGJr., as My friends and I call it. :lol:....but anyway, I do have the GBA game the kaijuto(?) master one and I don't know how to advance in the game, so i just play it sometimes for the 'dueling fun'

I actually got given a deck by a friend of mine. It took all of five minutes to learn how to play. I think I might be some kind of Duel Masters prodigy.

My deck uses red cards.

That's about as deep as the game gets.

It's pretty fun though. Quite a few people at the yugioh tourney play it in between actual matches.

You should post your deck man, just tell us what the cards do. Cause I don't know any of the names. Exept for the Galklife Dragon. And I only know that cause it sounds like it comes from Glasgow.

Lol, like I'm gonna sit here and type up my WHOLE deck and tell what EVERY card does :lol:. And I thought typing my h/w was bad. I'll post my DM deck and post a link to a site that TELLS what all of the cards do, but that's about it :P.

Yeah didn't think about that. Even with abbreviations that might take a while. Especially with all the stupid overly long names that dm cards have. I mean I know it's hard since yugioh already took most of the good ones, but come on Deadly Fighter Braid Claw? Is someone getting paid by the word to come up with these things?

Oh hey if you have any duel masters cards for trade you should post em as well man. Though I only use red ones, and I'm probably the only person who cares. So if you have any red duel masters cards for trade you should post em. Especially if they are dragons. Or the other armored things.

Btw when it says a card can't attack players does that mean it can't attack when there are no shields left, but can break shields? Or can it only attack monsters?

I figure somebody should know.

monsters like that(usualy blockers) can only attack monsters they cant break sheilds or finish the match for ya

Dude Duel Masters is a completly different game to yugioh. You can't really compare them.

Oh hey since this is the duel masters thread anybody care to answer a couple of questions...

If your creature has an ability that says "tap this card to..." can you use it's ability on the turn you summon it?

Can you summon a creature then evolve it and then have the evolved creature attack all in the same turn?

And finally if an untapped monster attacks a tapped monster and they both have the same atk what happens? (I assume nothing).

I play a little bit of DM myself, and run a red Speed deck. As for your queries:

No, because of summoning sickness, the creature can't do anything at all, you would have to wait untill your next turn, this is of course the creature doesn't have Speed Attacker.

Absolutely. Especially with the Speed Attackers...I summon. Oh wait, I summon and attack too? Sweeeeeet. Though I have been toying with a black control deck that has done very well, too. I may add in some nature for mana speed as well since I'm packing future Slash's (Basiclly the card lets me choose 2 cards in my opponent's deck and send them to their graveyard. Nasty).

While i use a combination of those decks, a combined Fire and Darkness civilisation deck which combines both the speed attacks of fire and the control/blocking ability of Darkness that has never lost once yet ^_^

IMO duel masters is WAY different to yugioh but its also not as good as yugioh. i used to run a light civilisation deck but then realised i didnt really like the game and quit!
