Title: Magic Negation Does It Work?
Description: you tell me if this combo works

Use ultimate offering to summon Maryokutai when your opponent activates a magic card then you activate Maryokutai's effect to negate the Magic card. You tell me would this work. Not intending to use it but I might add this to my lists of combo's

No, it does not work. You cannot activate a new effect in the middle of a resolving Chain.

To be a bit clearer: "Ultimate Offering"'s effect is Chained to the activation of the Spell Card in question. "Maryokutai" will not be on the field to activate its effect until after "Ultimate Offering" resolves, which is in the middle of a Chain, and is thus an illegal move.

Exactly, you always get to these questions quicker than me Tyrin :P

I already answered this, but for some reason, I got the "this page is currently unavailable" whenever I submitted the reply.

Also, for another note of ultimate offering, you can only use it during one of your main phases and during your opponent's battle phase. Also, only you, not your opponent, can use the card's effect.

ahhhh that makes a whole lot of sense thanks a lot. Ive been really frustrated because my friend keeps telling me to put it on the private combo list but in a way, it didnt sound right.
