this game is like a greek type game you fight all these moster like, Cerberus the three-headed hell-hound, the towering one-eyed Cyclops, snake-haired gorgons with a gaze that could turn you to stone
You play as a guy name Kratos, I think it begins when you see him about to commit suicide. He falls of a cliff and when he falls you see a review about what happen before this. The main boss is Hades

I have never played, but that really makes no sense. In Greek Mythology, Hades is the god of the underworld. Aries is the Greek god of war. The title is very misleading, it that is true

As one who has the game, I can make a few statements..
one, the main bad guy is Aries, God of War. It has some of the best graphics I've seen, and it pushes the M rating, big time. It borderlines on it. So if you are offended by tons of violence, gore and nudity, dont get it :P Otherwise, awesome game!

I have played and beat the game. Let me just say IT IS AWESOME. Now I want give any spoilers so I will just say it is awesome

I just beat God of War on GOD MODE!!! (very hard) I just beat it probably 6 hours ago!! Even though I've beat it twice, I think I'm going to play it again!! It's that amazing! However, since the game takes about 12 hours to beat one time around, it may be iffy to buy the game. As for rental, you must rent it if you do not plan to buy it!!!! It's so gorgeous of a game, yet the bleeding is kinda excessive, lol.
