I've never played with a black deck before.
I usually play with a red or a colurless deck ^_^

I play Magic, I started playing about two years ago so I do have a lot of good cards, I enjoy the game, I like it just a little less than YuGiOh!. I have the best Affinity deck ever, anyone wanna play Magic I'm always up for a text Magic duel on AIM, MSN, or YIM?!?

This is really becoming spam but it's a decent deck anyways. I've played aboyt every TCG open to the United States, so I find some of them annyoing and some of them ok, like I'm not a big fan of Pok'emon. Because that card game got boring when they started to make Pok'emon Neo and such.

I wouldnt class this spam we were having a good conversation about magic the gathering in a general disscusion forum.

So far, the idea is to get out these large, black legendary creatures. The real issue is speed. It's not quick enough. So any suggestions would be nice.

Thats looking very good,You said you need speed in there,so maybe some dark rituals.But those Kokushos are deadly! Especialy if you keep getting them back to your hand with the witnesses and find a way to sacrafice him to activte his effect quiker ^_^

I would put in those Dark Rits, except this is strictly a type 2 deck, so no Dark Rits for me.

yep I play magic the gathering too. kurtboy has seen about 4 of my decks before. I'll post one of my decks on here soon. Oh and Tom, your deck's pretty tight. You could try a mirror gallery since you have a lot of legends in your deck. I play with a Black/Green deck, but it's not type 2, it's instead in extended format (it's my version of the rock deck). I'd put in at least two more lands; 19 isn't ever enough for a deck, except in an elf deck. I'd try forbidden orchards, those are quite nice, especiall since you already have so much creature destruction and echoing decay woudl get rid of your opponent's multiple ones. also, combine that with Night's of Souls Betrayal, and you will not have a drawback for using forbidden orchard. Even though your witness and tribe elders would die from it, you still get both their effects (tribe elder is summoned, after that resolves, night of soul's betrayal's effect is put on the stack, and you can use tribe elder's effect right there). Once you put in 2 more land and get 4 birds of paradise, your deck will be plenty fast enough.
Also, you can try this combo out. Since you play eradicate, put in some of the green spellbomb (the one that turns one land into a 3/3 creature until the end of the turn). you do that 1st, then eradicate that land, and they lose all land of that type in their deck and removed from teh game (because eradicate says remove target non-black creature from the game, THEN the player removes all COPIES of the card with the same name from the hand and deck; it doesn't say all copies of the creature, it just says all copies of the same name. EVIL!)

Oh boy mirror gallery,that can sometimes go horribly wrong,I had lots of legendary samurais out before and then boom my mirror gallery got destroyed and all my legendarly samurais got sent to the graveyard,But in one case it helped alot and i stoped all over my opponent with them,

Wow, this thread is pretty fun because we can talk about mtg finally, but still I think it should be moved to spam because this is a strictly YuGiOh website, but ultimately that's Tom's decision, I don't have my Affinity deck with me at the moment but I can post it maybe next week and hopefully you guys can help out with it, (spawngod seems like he knows what he's talking about so hopefully he can help too), it's allready pretty sick, I've only lost a few games with it and only to my brother who plays Tinker and DarkSteel Collossus. I play strictly type one because I refuse to only use new cards, I guess I could but I only have Type 1 tournies locally so I play Type 1 obviously. Well, I'll post my Affinity deck by Monday at the latest hopefully :), maybe I can have a few games with some of you, I don't know, I also play Duel Masters and it;s very good, if you haven't played it at least give it a try.

I, personally don't have a problem with this thread. If Vash or Newsfoxjr have a problem with it, I'll move it, or outright delete it. I mean, this thread really isn't going to take over the entire site, either. But that's just me.

And Chris, you should play in type 2. Ravager is banned, so no affinity for you ;P

yep, no more affinity in type 2!! I love that so much! Now new decks can finally emerge, especially from the champions block. The most interesting deck I've seen so far is someone abusin Toshiro Umazawa. he combines that with the Night of Souls Betrayal and Forbidden Orchard, and for one mana, he can play an instant spell from his graveyard. It's very fun to play, but even more fun to watch.

as for my record with my deck, i dunno yet, because i play against all types of people; casual, other extended, 1.5 format, and type 2 (poor them, lol). so i cannot give you a record of my deck.

Oww well it looks good to me so i guess it has quite a few wins under its belt

Actually two moxes, even better, lol, their the 2 least rare one's though, not the ones from the power 9, thank you a lot for the rating, higher than I expected, I did do a lot of play testing to "perfect" it so a good rating makes me happy :)! The only card I really want to add is Mystical Tutor, I side deck 4 Welsing Jar's btw dude, thanks for the rating and help! Now about your deck, I want to retain the Affinity theme but I refuse to copy my deck so here is a completely different style of affinity for you but it retains your decks key cards as well! The main difference you'll notice is the Myr Retriever's and Atog Combo with Krark Clan Iron Works. You can also instant win with Disciple KKIW and 2 Myr Retrievers so this deck should do well I think, it has many ways to win! I eventually had to remove the Myr Enforcers for room's sake.

Besides Skullclamp and Lightning Greaves, that's probably the best equipment made so far. and it's awsome that it didn't come from the mirrodin block either! I personally like the card, and it is just sick whenever the creature does damage with it JUST ONCE! and it can be to a creature or a player.

Yes equip it to a little arcbound stinger etc and BOOM you have a awsome creature with great effects waiting to be used!.

I have come aross energy chamber and chromatic sphere and i want them in myt affinity deck but i'm not sure what to replace them with,or are they not a good idea?

Energy Chamber is good but mainly in a counter deck, I personnally wouldn't use it in affinity. Chromatic sphere is very good in type two and decent in type one, I'd use it. Maybe take out two welding jars for two of them for a try, Aether Vial is better though, if you have Aether Vial you should try it out. Anyways,... her's the Samurai deck I promised.

ya know...I hate to tell ya all this, but.......Artifact Decks are good but died out About...............50 Years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I love Artifact decks, but move on to Samurai or Ninja.

My friend calls Artifacts "old pieces of rusted metal" lol
