Lately there have been many threads asking "can I be a moderator." And I have also been getting many private messages on this too. So I'm going to put a stop to this.

How to become a moderator.

Basically here is the chain of command-

Super Moderator

Moderator

Member

Banned

Banned-If you are banned, you are no longer allowed to post. You have a 0 chance of becoming a moderator. You can only be un-banned by an admin.

Member-A member is allowed to post, view threads, vote in polls, etc. You do not have the power to close, move, pin, any threads.

Moderator-They are assaigned certain forums to moderate. They can close, move, pin, view IPs ect. They can only do this for a certain few forums. They can also see the Moderator Forum.

Super Moderator-They can moderate all forums. They can do everything a moderator can, only they have power of all forums. They can also see the moderator forum

Admin-They have ultimate power over the site. They can view the ADMIN CP, which is basic control over the site. They can also see the mod forum. They can moderate all forums, edit accounts, whatever.

Now, to become a moderator, you must...


Come on the site frequently and for a long amount of time

Make many well constructed and informative posts often

Do not break the rules and help inforce them

Being friendly to all members

By not Spamming

By not asking to become a moderator

i have noticed those threads asking about being a mod too.

umm when people ask I say not to cuz I already seen it posted some where on this site it said Rule one don't ask...........

ya tell them not to too cause it gets annoying.

How are we notified that we have a chance of becoming a modderator. Does an admin PM us or what? Hopefully you know what I mean.
