Description: Mistakes

yatalocker - May 16, 2004 07:33 PM (GMT)
lol, lets share thoes classic mistakes, if we get them all I'll email this to UD :P

One that I noticed is when Yugi and Mai were dueling, and Yugi used monster reborn on Gia the Fierce Knight. On both of thier fields where they put the real cards showed celtic guardian where Gia the Fierce Knight should have been. I found this, I didn't find it on another site. ;)

Great_Maju - May 16, 2004 07:40 PM (GMT)
wot are we meant to talk about?????

do you mean that yugi placed a celtic guardian card on the field to symbolise a gaia the fiere knight???

i must say i didnt notice that when i watched it the first time.
well done yatalocker ^_~

i havent found any yet :( besides the usual ones of the cards effects dont match the game since the anime ones are way more powerful and the heart of the cards helps them out.

Chaos - May 16, 2004 09:00 PM (GMT)
I've never really noticed those mistaked either... You must have had to look really closly...

Yata- Can you enable quick reply for this forum? :D

yatalocker - May 16, 2004 10:32 PM (GMT)
Is there a quickreply for this server?! I'll cgeck it out but you know nezfoxjr is an admin too, and I have to get his permission, not just tell him what I'm doing. >.>

Newzfoxjr - May 16, 2004 10:51 PM (GMT)
quick reply turned on ;)

anyway i thought only i saw the celtic guardian thing

i also saw that Mai had 2 shadow of eyes on the field, when only one was active...

yatalocker - May 16, 2004 10:58 PM (GMT)
they are actually 2 different cards.

Newzfoxjr - May 17, 2004 12:47 AM (GMT)
no, it was 2 shadow of eyes, plus mirror wall

Lusterknight - May 17, 2004 12:55 AM (GMT)
In one episode Mako plays Torrential Tribute F/D, but he said it was a monster :)

Shadow Knight of Jackal - May 18, 2004 01:41 AM (GMT)
omg, it was funny when mai had two shadow of eyes on the field, i bet when kids wb saw that they went balistic. one was actualy suposed to be elogent egotisit or cyber shield, or the rose whip.

Seto-K - May 21, 2004 01:33 AM (GMT)

Professor X - June 18, 2004 12:58 PM (GMT)
Bones uses call of the haunted to reborn 3 monsters against Joey.

Envoy_Soldier - June 18, 2004 04:38 PM (GMT)
Joey summons two monsters the same turn in his duel against Yugi at Duelist Kingdom

Professor X - June 18, 2004 05:44 PM (GMT)
How about when yugi duels kaiba in their first duel. Yugi's swords of revealing light does not stop kaiba's third blue eyes from attacking. The reason given was: the third blue eyes was not on the field when swords was activated.

cringeman - June 20, 2004 01:58 PM (GMT)
Check out my avatar thats something 4kids cut out...man i hate them!

Newzfoxjr - June 20, 2004 02:02 PM (GMT)
Yeah they cut out ALOT, it makes it look like teletubbies LMAO (oh and that avatar's fine, its not as bad as i thought)

Dark Malik - July 6, 2004 08:20 PM (GMT)
When dueling Bandit Keeth in the Yugi VS Dark Bandit Keeth (or whatever it was) episode - Yugi played Giai and Curse of Dragon on the same turn then played pulmerization. I don't know what you guys think, but that move is illegal.

Marik should of thought so as well, but he didn't say anything. Funny IMAO!

mcaptain14 - July 6, 2004 10:54 PM (GMT)
When Yami Yugi is facing Bakura in the Shadow Realm, Tea (Magician of Faith) is shown with the Dark Magicians stats (2500/2100). There are too many mistakes to point out. LOL.

Yami Marik - July 7, 2004 12:58 AM (GMT)
Yeah I saw that!

Dark Malik - July 14, 2004 11:41 AM (GMT)
When Yugi and Joey are dueling in duelist kingdom. Joey plays Graverobber as a magic card instead of a trap, to take Summoned Skull. Cheater...

Pegasus J. Crawford - July 23, 2004 10:53 PM (GMT)
I have the reason for all 'yugioh mess ups' or whatever you wish to call them. *ahem* 4 kids is a retarded company that slaughters anime that was never meant to be seen by the eyes of little, annoying children. and was originally meant to be for 'older audiences' and every little screw up that is in the crappy dub, is because of the pointless editing 4 bakas do. *sighs* I truly wish the 'new' yuugiou was like the 'old' yuugiou, using cel's instead of CG...then they could not edit much of it...hm...*goes off to ponder how much 'shadow realm' they will put in to doom*

Ichigo - June 4, 2005 05:10 PM (GMT)
I have a mistake that was in the japanese version too. Yugi has 3 magical hats on the field. Jounouchi has Garoozis and Black Skull Dragon. Then it goes to a side view. But wait! Where's Garoozis!? That scene shows Black Skull Dragon as the only monster on Jounocuhi's feild. In the next scene, Garoozis is back.

UnknownDuelist# - June 5, 2005 02:05 PM (GMT)
most of the cards from the series never do what they do in real life

king_laharl - June 9, 2005 10:30 AM (GMT)
Kaiba the little cheat uses crush card as a spell.

UnknownDuelist# - June 14, 2005 09:32 PM (GMT)
on yugioh GX they always say the use of pot of greed and call of the haunted *WHY WE KNOW HOW THEY WORK*

SynjoDeonecros - June 29, 2005 03:05 AM (GMT)
Here's a few that I recognized:

1. Tristan's voice changed drastically between Yugi's duel with the fake Kaiba and Joey's duel with Rex. Up to that point, his voice sounded extremely nasally and stuffed up; afterwards, it changed to the voice that we all know and love/hate.

2. Pointless Editing: When Bakura learns of Yugi's disappearance during Yugi's duel with the possessed Bandit Keith, he rips open his shirt and uses the Millennium Ring to track Yugi down. In early viewings, his shirt is wide open, showing off his chest and stomach during this time, but in latter viewings, it's been editted so it's closed the entire time. Apparently, even showing off a male character's chest is taboo for 4Kids.

3. During Yugi's duel with Arkana, Arkana removes his mask to show Yugi the scars on his face during his retelling of why he joined up with Marik. However, his mask only covers up his eyes and the top part of his face, clearly showing the rest of his face to be unmarked. Also, neither of his hands are covered, and they're perfectly fine. During the flashback, we can clearly see Arkana with his entire head and both hands bandaged up thanks to his accident. True, scars heal, but we're lead to believe that the damage to his features were extensive, and that the scars would remain for life. So how come he only has scars where his mask is, and not on any other visible part of his body?

UnknownDuelist# - July 3, 2005 09:31 PM (GMT)
like any other yugi fan would say

"yugi and his deck always cheats" i mean would it be possiable to summon all three god cards in three turns if yugioh was real

Ichigo - July 4, 2005 01:34 AM (GMT)
I found another mess up that's in the japanese version too. Remember the episode where Kaiba tests his duel disk out on Jounouchi? When Kaiba plays Mystic Horsemen and Polymerization he has a duel glove on. Kaiba never got a duel glove. After that scene he no longer has the glove (Since he's not supposed to anyway).

yamigirl - July 18, 2005 01:15 AM (GMT)
i have notice a mistake in the eposide were joey and yugi are forced to fight in this eposide yugi gives joey his millenium puzzle at the end of the eposide when euerybody is safe yugi is already wearing the millenium puzzle before joey gives it back to him. :^^^=

iloveatem - July 23, 2005 03:18 AM (GMT)
Not to mention the COUNTLESS times that either Yugi's or the Pharaoh's hair has been backwards...I start freakin' out whenever that happens

yamigirl - August 31, 2005 12:56 AM (GMT)
theres another mistake i have notice in the eposideface off were kaiba is waiting at pegus castle waiting to duel yugi to get his brother back. if you look at little yugi he has his backpack on his back but when he taps into the millenum puzzle yamiyugi appears with no backpack at all. :^^^=

sheetro - September 4, 2005 11:20 AM (GMT)
In the Waking of the Dragon series - there's an episode where Kaiba meets and duels Alistair (Amelda). Alistair then thinks back to his memory of when Mikey was taken away from him.
It was Tarento who spotted it but I think we both forgot to post it lol!
Alistair gives the necklace to Mikey then Mikey (weirdly) gets taken away from the tanks. Then you see G. Kaiba talking to some army dudes and the Kaiba helicopter. That's when you see lil Alistair looking up and oh - he has the necklace back!

Now that's always stumped me. The flashback didn't make sense. To those who have seen the original...what actually happened or was it the same?

Ichigo - September 4, 2005 07:41 PM (GMT)
In the orignal japanese Mikey is killed by the tanks. In the english version they changed around the clips to make thier explanation on what happened to Mikey make sence. But as usual, they forgot about important little things like Amelda's necklace.

sheetro - September 4, 2005 08:15 PM (GMT)
So he was killed by the tanks...and took the necklace back? that would make more sense - or did they stick things around? :S *confused* It's always stumped me - thanks Ichigo ^_^

Ichigo - September 4, 2005 08:19 PM (GMT)
Amelda gave Mikey the necklace. 4kids moved the clip showing Amelda with the necklace to after mikey gets "taken away". Orignally the clip was when Amelda saw the tanks coming. Is that more clear?

sheetro - September 4, 2005 08:26 PM (GMT)
ohhhh that makes more sense thank you so much for clearing that up for me!
Stupid 4Kids... ¬___¬ still a mistake though mwahahahaha!

Actually, if you looked closely, Tea was standing on the Dark Magician;s Card, not the Magician of Faith's

*runs off with torch to burn 4kids headquarters*
What's the point of showing a foreign cartoon if you're going to butcher it so badly?!

ProfessorBrimstone - September 21, 2005 03:13 PM (GMT)
I heard on One Piece (I heard this from my cousin, so I may not be 100% on this; Sheetro can verify this and clear this up) that someone kills themself, but instead of a real gun on there (I understand that), the gun appears to be a cap gun! The sound sounded like an actual gun, and of course, they dont' show the blood or the shot; instead they show just an arm from his body of him lying on the floor (understandble too). Now, the guy there (see, I need to watch the show more often, lol)observing this says that he died because the sound of the cap gun shocked him and was loud enough to kill him!!!

Now ain't that a sack of *insert bad word here*

sheetro - September 22, 2005 06:41 PM (GMT)
Hmmmm weird - I haven't watched all of the episodes so I can't say I know if someone kills themselves or not. I certainly hope not!! Luffy, Sanji and Zoro have to remain in one piece...no pun intended - seriously

So who was the person? describe him pwease! :)
