Title: Official HAF web site access
digenis - May 4, 2005 12:25 AM (GMT)
Can someone verify if they can access the official HAF web site (
http://www.haf.gr/)? It appears that they are blocking traffic from my locations in the USA. Can any of you confirm from your locations, and for those that can access the site - can you get the e-mail address of the webmaster so that I can contact him about this matter?
Thanks.

U-BOOT,
I had been informed that they launched a redesigned site, which is one of the reasons I would like to visit the site. Perhaps they are blocking access late-night or bring the servers down. I had been trying (in the evening in the US) for some time to access the site and it always failed. I am trying this morning and I can get in. :D
Excellent!

Yeah, maybe they haven't finished it yet. It's running quite slow for me too.THey ve put a flash animation on the home page with a Block 52+ passing by and a "The Skies are ours" motto.I don't see anything impressive inside the site though. The page"audio-visual material" is under construction. The same goes for a link "The arsenal of P.A".They have put a news section and the latest news is from 21/3/05 about the visit to Alenia for the C-27.Can't see any photos of aircrafts.THey have a link for the exhibition at St.Michael's day,but no photos :(
So you 're not missing much.

Now I can't get to the site again. I think they bring the servers down (or restrict access on the firewalls) during "off hours". It's 2 pm EST (9 pm in Athens) right now.
