Il-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles, with add-ons and mods. That can be the only choice imho..

Orko,

Il-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles -> do you only fly in the Eastern front, or can you also play battle of britain and the pacific campaign with this game?

Do you also know: Pacific Fighters, if you know which one is a better game.

You can also fly in Russo-Fin war. I heard that Battle of Britain and Pacific expansions are/were on the way. But I'm not sure..

You can fly almost every aircraft in German, Russian air forces plus some American and British fighters and bombers (FW-190, MiG-3, Lagg-9, P-39, He-111, Me-163, Me-263, Ju-87 etc etc etc)

It is one of the most realistic aircraft simulations ever made.

I will defenitly try this one out. Do you also have wingmates here?

I hope not that's to realistic so it would take hours to learn to control it.

Do you perhaps know when the expansions for Battle of Britain and Pacific come out.

I haven't played it for a long time..

How realistic? Hımmm, I can say, I studied aerodynamics at the university, but really learned what it means in this game :) Oehm.. Better study some spin, stall before you play.

But you can adjust every parameter for playability..

The atmosphere of the game is really superb. I advise you try Stalingrad and Kursk scenarios, you really live the war..

It also have an advanced multiplayer mode, but I, an ancient gamer, did not experience it.

If I talk more on this game you can get suspicious of me, but believe me:

1. I'm not an agent of Ubisoft
2. This sim rocks :)

Give me my Wuerger and say your prayer... heheheheh :)

Hahahaha I was thinking more of flying together as wingmates. But I am ready for any dogfight with you B) I just have to get this game and flew a couple of times to get the feeling. Then I am ready to earn my ace on any opponent :sarcasm:

Not to forget the Classical.
Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator I-III and his ad-ons.
You really have every theatre on WW 2.

Thanks Chris, but I already got IL-2 sturmovik.

Orko this game is pretty hard. I have flown 3 missions now for the Luftwaffe and only downed 2 aircraft. Its pretty tough and I still have to earn my ace.

Which aircraft do you recommened (doesnt matter of which nation).
Also I have noticed my plane has the tendency to rise its nose when in the air. I have to constantly pull the stick forward to keep the plane straight. Is this common on the German fighters or do I have to active/deactivate some setting?
