The P90 is a compact submachine gun developed and manufactured by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FN Herstal). It has an unusual bullpup configuration and a 50-round magazine that sits on top of the firearm, parallel to the barrel which results in a short external barrel. It arguably started a new class of personal defense weapons (PDWs) intended to defeat body armor with small-caliber, high-velocity bullets. It was soon joined by the Heckler & Koch MP7 chambered for a similar cartridge.

FN Five-seveN 5.7mm :mgun:



The Five-seveN is a semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FNH).

FN created the new 5.7 x 28 mm cartridge for its FN P90 personal defense weapon to meet NATO requirements released in 2000. Subsequently FN created the Five-seveN pistol to offer agencies who adopt the P90 a sidearm chambered for the same cartridge.
