Title: Bagdatis in Wibledon quarterfinal!
Thermopyles - July 5, 2007 03:02 PM (GMT)
No. 10 Marcos Baghdatis, who lost to Nadal in last year's semifinals, advanced by beating No. 6 Nikolay Davydenko 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5), 6-3 in the fourth round.
He beat the tough #6, davydenko, and now will play in the quarterfinals. Not bad considering he is not a grass-court player! Nice to see he can pull out 2 tie-breakers... That takes super-concentration! :applause:

His next poopnent is #4 Djokovic of Serbia. On paper he's a better grass-court player. Lest see if Markos can do 2 upsets in a row! grooup :charge:

AAAAAA Bollocks! :Cursing: What a WAR! these guys beat eachother to death in a brutal war that lasted for 4hr59min!!!! :duel: But Markos lost!
The score: Novak Djokovic (4), Serbia, def. Marcos Baghdatis (10), Cyprus, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (9), 6-7 (3), 4-6, 7-5. Djokovic bearly wins in the 5th set. He will almost certainly go down with Markos, there is no way he can win another match - he will need 2-3 days to recover...
