our generals always want this marine landing crafts . mostly for nato missions . till the somalia time 1992.
but no real thing. first tanks must be modernized( leo 2 or abrahams ) than new infintary weapon to be buit. very strong anti tank weapons
3 major priotry!!
3rd entered the list 3 years ago!!! after erxy has lots of problems.
then may be new ships.

It seems that the prioritys has been ...reordered...
The LPD... is one of the things that the TN...wants...
so also...about the MBTs..the Turkish army will build an indegineus Tank...self made...maybe some parts of Koreo an abroad ..but the main Tank will be build in Turkey...and be made in Turkey...
Dont ask me about the results...
If Turkey/..(what i hope strongly) build or buy the LPD... The HN will follow immidiatly....(and i hope they will go for the Rotterdam class...)

Thats too bad about the eryx. They had the idea right, but couldn't put it together... Have the Frenchies offered to correct the problems? What are all the problems that its haveing?

PS if you think your going to fight the US in a few years, you better get some ASAT capacity, your country is large enough for it. This will help you more than an Turkish Tank.

Also some counrties need to develope AT's that can defeat the new active systems that will be active soon. Perhaps a missle with a 2nd head that can be shot in front of the missile to activate the defence system before the missile hits. Tus not giving it time to reload before the actual AT round makes contact...

problem s are !

missles cant fınd targets. they mıss.
2 french cant deploy them on time. so we stop paying . and they totaly stop sending lıke 5 6 years ago then what happened i dont know.

it was expensive nad didnt work. and no turkish producer involved..
normaly 50 percent all foreıgn equıpmets must be produced here.

I think all A-AT systems are designed to counter more than one threat at the same time.
