Description: Question..

Lord - May 24, 2007 04:14 PM (GMT)
The last days iam thinking about to buy a new off road vehicel..so i saw the Ssang yong Kyron....and was very existed abouted...
Good price...and a very nice car indeed...(mercedes engine and transmision)
Knowing about the greek taxes for cars...the price which someone can buy a car a restricted...
and iam not willing to pay some 100 000 euros for a M class to the greek state...for a car whic i can easyly find in germany for half of the price...
so in geramny the ssang yong costs 26 000 ..in greece 36 000...
and i will have my fun...

Now my question...
i found that side which i think is in Dutch...can someone make a translation...? in transl. machines i cant get any real info... and it seems thay made some serious tests with the car....

I have just translated the conclusion:

QUOTE

QUOTE
With the Kyron, Ssang Yong confines herself no longer to the market of exclusive SUV's. The newcomer belongs to the popular list from which which leasers can choose their new car. Therefor the foremost feature of the Kyron is its seducing design. However you can find pure off-road technology beneath this modern carriage, which makes the Kyron suitable for serious off-road driving. If you buy the Kyron for its space and design, you can opt for a two wheel drive version. With that Ssang Yong offers a highly attractive price in the competiton.

Also the article also mentions about a golden rule for SUV's; that when it drives better on the road, its prestation is worse on off-roads and the stiffer it drives on the road, its prestation is better on off-roads. The Kyron belongs to the last category and it requires time for the driver to get adjusted to its stiff steering and cornering on the road.
