The idiot moderators, have killed this forum. Thoughts? Moderators, Do Not Attempt to Sensour this topic. Sensour your bowel movement instead.

I am a relatively new user here so i would like to ask you what makes you think it the fault of the mods?

I respect most (read not all) moderators here (from both sides). Now, to respond your message,
yes, they killed it when they let some fanatics to spill their hates, and we all know who those fanatics were. When they decided to take action, it was too late. (as a side note, I was planning to put a post that shows the exact date this forum died, e.g., when Pytheas post its first message.)

Now nobody cares about bashing against the Turks in this forum. Ask why.... The other forums where Turks and Greeks post? They are just jokes compared to what this forum was. People post there for fun, not for intelligent discussions we had seen here.

Anyway, I think the forum was a very good experiment. For one, it opened my eyes, look at

With this respect, it accomplished its mission :) I just wish some clever people archived its very valuable discussions for future references. It happens that sometimes I wonder what will happen to the forum when the current administrators (Lord and Modus) won't pay for the forum's ISP anymore.

Saladin has written exactly my thought not only here but also in that very thread of which he kindly gave the link. This forum was a great one, sadly it is dying slowly :(

Any idea's for a revival?

Perhaps there was too much effort to moderate, but that made this place qualitative, free for most part of the pissing contests. Still being optimistic never hurts and perhaps by lesser moderation and a few other changes this place can be revived.

PS I think this still isnt a pay forum, so it will be around for some time as long as there is an active administration.

Some things should be left untouched.maybe this forum is a good archive,why revive it if it cant be revived?

I don't know why Ikaros blames the mods... This forum hit its target to be the most quality of its kind. Naturaly this reduces traffic, but it has reached the point of turtle pace. I for one am very determined not to see it close, or fail. I will, and am, doing whatever I can to raise the level of participation here. I have some ideas, that have not even been tried yet, but I believe with a few changes and upgrades we can resisitate this forum back to its good form.

Indeed, I believe that this forum is only frozen rather than dead. And I am trying to bring some heat ;) it is my personal goal to see this forum fly again, and I sincerely believe it can and will be done. Wait and see.
