here is the sittuation now.
1) iraq is big broders back yard !! and says dont interfear there .. dont touch them.

why ? because they are the usa only alies in the region now.
also folling years usa will use kurdish soldiers agains iran . so they protect them.

2) mostly terorist spent the winter in iraq the in summer the pass to turkey. that is one problem for us.
3 ) for me first we must clean own own back yard then we must talk about invading north iraq. becasue we still have nearly 2000 0r 2500 terorists here .even we go and bomb there . nothing would hapen !! only we will blow up 20 tent s 10 caves 50 goats 4 terorists.
4) but having a bufer zone inside iraq like 10 20 km deep woundt be bad. out side the our conuntry .But again Usa is the decision maker. now.
5) again for my idea there is a word here. ( people dont own the land , land owns the people). no body can predict future. but if Usa leaves the area..

it is sure that sia sunii turkish syrian iranies would cut every body called kurd in the reqion.
they are playing a big poker now.

we will see what will hapen.

and still we have 3 tank batalions in north iraq.( very coplicated :huh: )
2 of them controls 2 airfields.

this is about a amunition problem of this weapon. 6.5 mm avustrian made rifle which is known as greek rifle in turkey. mke( makina kimya endüstrisi) doesnt import these rifles amunition so it is hard to find the amunition. the guy advise him to buy the loading machanizm so he could make his own amunition. and say that this is a good rifle which throew 10. 3 gram bulet.
he says to fýnd bulet dont change the rifles calýber wait for import of the amunition. this is a strong weapon mosly use for elefant hunts in africa.
also in turkey it is used for bear or pork hunts.

also last guy says . if you have this rifle mke has to supply you the amunition . sent them e maýl or post and say that you have this rifle so . they are a goverment organýzatýon so they have to fýnd you the amunition.

i have only hunting rifle keeping permýssýon .
and have a automatýc shoot gun.
also i m interested in archery . ý have a croswbow horton demon model one of the strongers ever made and a combound bow.
now adays ý m planýng to buy a old turkish tradition bow . whých ýs not produced any more in turkey . they produce ýt ýn hungary .

and havýng a rifle like that is permýsýons are quýte hard because of the bulets ýt uses.
normaly ýf u want to but shot gun ýt ýs easy 10 days týme u have the lisence and they are all cheap. but havýng a rifle this caliber and more than range 200 meters. ýt causes problems.

i read about the diffrent articles, this is very liked weapon ýn here mostly for wild pork hunts and bear hunts ýn black sea. it has a direct kill efect.

from you tube you can see hungarian archery and look what was the style with horse and the sape of arrows.

Kaan ask if you can have a deactivated Military Rifle in Germany that Rifles are free over 18 years old.

yesterday i looked at some forums . these are mostly find in mountain viliges of egea. some times hunters see viligers hunting with them. they mostly shoot goat s or wolf with this greek rifle ( yunan filinta) . and favored alot.
they also say spanish and japan rifles are also seen during the hunts. and greek rifle could hit a goat from 500 meters. only amuniton is the big problem.here

but un fortunatly no seller!! <_<

nice photo in 1943 did we produce those rifles?? or produced for turkey by a foreign company ??

first the Ottoman Empire buyed by the Germans the M 1890 later the M 1893
and later the Mauser M 1903 in the 7,65mm caliber.Greece had such Rifles and carbines as buty from the Balkan Wars.But I am not sure when Turkey produced his Mauser I thing in the late 30' 1938 or so.Yes you produced and produce today many Handgun it is a big achievement.
I as a Greek would to buy a greek Hundgun for sportshooting but my country cant managed to make a national Pistol. I admire the Handgun produktion in Turkey you have many companys and they produce good Things.
But if sometime you can find a yunan Flinta (Greek Mannlicher Schoenauer)let me Know.

yes today alot of companies produce hand guns .even it is hard to have a lisence still we nearly have 10 companies only producing hand gun . best of them is sarsýlmaz .

usa sent here every thing like tanks rifles. so our leaders saýd why would we produce usa gýves us every thýng . and we stoped makýng any thýng. then as u know cyprus war hapened . and the ambargo we realized that our army can move only 2 moths with out the help usa. ýf he says stop we stop . then natýonal productýon of radýos weapons and evert thýng started agaýn.


and now there ýs a new weapon here for hunters.

ýt ýs called T 14 just the copy of m16 but a huntýng rýfle prýce decreased to 1000 dolars now may be ý wýll buy one . safir company ýmports ýt. but as ý know it is made here . 36 calýber hunting rýfle.

But on the topic, I find Turkiye is in a dangerous spot. What can they accomplish really? to push the Kurds further south? to further devide Iraq? How long to they want to be there? Do they want an insurgency like the US has now? The buffer zone sounds good, but for how long? what needs to happen for them to leave? how much money and lives are they willing to spend?

Difficult situation for Turkey now, I find...

before the iraq war he had a buffer zone in the mountains . still we have few hundered soldiers there. to prevent them entering our lands. but usa created a new country. so he says dont touch it. but on the other hand every day soldiers die. in here . and public wants army to hit pkk camps ýn iraq.

so coplicated times are ahead.
