Just thought I would scan these two pages in, so Greeks without the benefit of the excellent USA library system can better understand why Turks lack the civilizational background for true peace. Like Bernard Lewis says there is only constant war interrupted by peace only when the muslim side feels it cannot succesfully take on the Harb. This historic info explains alot about Turkish policies, attitudes and behaviors in the present day.
