It was a very good surprise to see that the SD memory card I bought came with a Turkish explanation as well!!! Look at the back cover and the Turkish manual. Of course, they didn't care to translate warranty information for the Turks :)

Anyway, it will be really good when we see other manufacturers translating their manuals.

Your importance??? Importance of a market's purchase generating power??? Translation of a gadget's document in a specific language has nothing to do with that country's importance level as regarded by the manufacturer or whatever... It has to do with the market region the product appeals to move...

I guess either I don't understand Hades is kidding, or he doesn't understand I'm kidding, I just need to clarify that, who cares which language a manual is written in. However, having it written in Turkish means that there is as market in Turkey, that means Turkish people can afford it, and that means Turkey is not as poor as some people are claiming. As a side note, that card is not bought from Turkey, i.e., not regional to Turkey, but ordered from a website in US and that was the reason for the surprise factor.

saladin an SD ram of 2GB costs around 40 euros......I don't think buying an SD ram shows a country's economic prosperity...Anyways every manual for every product should be written in more than 100 languages and don't tell me that it would cost a fortune to publish a manual in 100 languages....

I apologize dear Saladin, I didn't get you were kidding...
Now as far as it concerns the manuals, most of those I came across during the last years include languages like Hungarian, Czech, Polish, I even saw some Slavic ones... Are those countries richer than Greece or Turkey, meaning that those people who can afford buying a gadget in that country compose a market share strong enough to compete or to overcome the Greek or Turkish one??? I don't think so, it's just a matter of marketing region the manual printed is about to be addressed to...
