No it is not a Vicky Kaya, but Candy Nuts Nougats with Almonds,

I have tried a Turkish version by Kafkas (after finding about the greek one) and a lebanise one. I think the greek one is the best with the right mix of the taste (almond, sugar and coconut). Of course, I don't know who came up with it first (I'm pretty sure its not Turkish).

Hm and i was pritty shure that actually it was Turkish... :D

In Germany they call this stuff...Turkish honey...maybe because it came to the germans after Wien...

But hey ..it dosent mtter from were it comes...

When I think about it, inside could be the basterdized version of some halva, but coconut is definetly not in traditional turkish cuisine.
