Some pretty nice ships in Istanbul for few days more.. I took some pix of them and uploaded here , in my usual gallery..

F-491 Giresun (Turkey), F-103 Blas de Lezo(Spain), F-829 Willem van der Zaan (Netherlands) , F-574 Aliseo (Italy) were in Istanbul as of yesterday. The British York and German Rhoen are supposed to be here too but i havent seen them personally. I know other friands have taken pix as well (i was with some :lol:)and i hope they will share theirs here too..

Surprising how rusty the Italian ship is... You would think they could at least throw on a coat of paint before it arrives. Then again the Med. is the most salty sea in the world.

The Spanish F-100 looks the most modern but the Aegis looks very bulky (top heavy)... Our Perry looks very sleek beside it actually.
