I know it's been out for some time, but I recently completed watching Season 1 Series. I found it very entertaining and much more in depth than the original series. My only critique is the design of the Traditional Cylons, which they should have made more modern. And the design of the Vipers, I hoped the pilots would fly in a more updated version of the Viper (but the reason they dont is 'cause the new versions were very vulnerable against Cylon interference and got destroyed)

I finished watching the second season of the series.It has its ups and its downs but it is still the best SCI-FI series curently.Good news is that there will be a third season.Bu the way,i like the black chick! :lol:

The dark chick is also nice, I like her green/yellowish eyes.

The thing I also like about BSG is that story is that the story like it is about an ordinary aircraft carrier, with Fighter Aircrafts (Vipers) and AWACS (Raptors) and involving the relationships between Pilots, Commanders, Technicians (specialists), Bridge personel, Marines etc etc. The don't focus too much on SciFi technologies but keep more intact the human elements.

I have mixed opinions of this series. I'm glad that there are still some series going in the space. But I'm really disappointed on the story line. Although CID liked the idea of career like environment, I think it is too much career like. There are too much inconsistencies. An there is this GOD theme (Cylons now supposed to represent the religous fundementalists). The vice president is so evil nobody notices him. In one episode, Apollo is fighting his father, next he is the father's best man. Then he is demoted to lieatanount then he is promoted to major and then suddently commander. You would wonder what would be pegasus's XO will think abou it. Then the fleet relies on a drunk colonel (?) as XO. I don't get the vibe that everybody is united together a common enemy (which happens most of the time when your existence is in question). The commander of a battle star is disregarding a superior officer's commands. Adama, a war hero and old man is a mare commander, yet a young woman without logic is admiral. The last night, i literally forced myself to watch Season 2, episode 17.

I suggest anybody who is interested in science fiction to watch Babylon 5. That is the best series ever. If you liked lord of the rings, you will like this. I know people who litterally cried on some scenes and at the end of the season. One advantage of B5 was though mostly one person, its creator wrote it.

I prefered the scientific way of Enterprise,unfortunately the 9/11 events ruined its storyline and that great show in general.

Uhm I think Starbucks is a female, not Apollo. By the way I think Commander Adama (Edward Olmes) is performing great. Just as charimatic as in Miami Vice B)
I am at episode 16 season 2 and now there are many sidestories, they seem to battle more against eachother rather then the cylons lol.

I didn't had the chance to look it but i don't know. I liked the old design more of the Galactica. But the old series had really no real "deep"...
