V.2 of the well-known first person shooter - sim. "Operation Flashpoint", this baby will surely rock! According to Bohemia Interactive, it will be released in the first quarter of 2006. I can't wait! (Lots of upgrade will be needed though)

Is it knows whether the hardware requirements will be high ?
orko_8 - November 23, 2005 02:52 PM (GMT)
Very high my friend.. Believe or not.. I'm planining to buy a new PC.
Together with Morrowind, Operation Flashpoint is the only PC game I've played for about 3.5 years. This loyalty deserves such commitment, huh? :D

Are the requirements similar to that of Battlefield 2?
And I am unfamiliar with these series. Are the battles based on more realism like BF2 or real realism like simulation?

USMC and US Army are using modified versions of Operation Flashpoint for training. First episode was on hypothetical islands, and the scenario was a US-USSR war in 1985. There are tonnes of mods and add-ons for the game: Every NATO county's vehicles, uniforms, WW2 mod, etc.. You can use every vehicle, from bicycle to CH47. So, from this view, yes it's like BF2. In addition, it has one of the most sophisticated editors ever. You can write scripts, or even add your own 3D models to the game.
The new game will have scenarios in Africa, Middle East, SouthEast Asia and Europe as far as I remember.

Thank you orko for the information.
By the way, is anyone playing multiplayer in here ?
Cid - November 23, 2005 08:36 PM (GMT)
I am playing multipayer on games. Currently only BattleField 2. That game is made only for the multiplayer. Which games do you play online?
