Title: Newbie's question thread
Description: Ask questions here

awais - November 11, 2005 09:50 PM (GMT)
Hi :hathello:

I just opened this thread so me and other members who have little info on turkey-greece can ask questions about these countries.Instead of opening threads for one liners questions. So my questions are.

1.What is the inventory of turkey and greece?
2.What are their future plans?
2.Do any of them operate AWACS?
4.How big is their army, navy, airforce, sepical ops is?
5.who are their allies?
5.Why the #$@% are they enemies?

These questions will be all for now. Thanks :thanks:

Well awais, my new friend, glad to have you here. You came to the right place for asking those very difficult to answer questions. I'll help you the best I can off the top of my head, but I can assure you this: The questions to ALL of those answers and more, are discussed here in detail from both sides. Search around a bit and you'll find all you need. But for now,:

Yes, both. Search in AF & space activities and you will find curret info on them.

In the answer to #1 ;)

Depends on your definition of "allies". If you mean who would fight along us, then noone. If you mean "generally" then:

Greece:
-Italy
-France
-Serbia
-Bulgaria(?)
-Germany(?)
-USA(?)

Turkey:
-Israel
-USA
-Albania
-Bulgaria(?)
-Germany(?)

Partial answers are in every sub-forum in here. Generaly, start with HERE

Well I am actually not shure about Bulgaria. With Germany its dependant on the political climate in both countries.

But personally I think the following states could be added as 'allies' of Turkey:
-Georgia
-Azerbaycan
-Italy
-Britain
-Pakistan
-Bosnia Hercegovina
-Japan (although they are too far away)

Theoretical speaking both Greece and Turkey are allied to each other under the umbrella of NATO. :P
