Hey, Lord, I thought I saw recently at the Hellenic Air Force's official website that an order has been placed for 250 GBU-31 JDAMs and 300 Longshots. Have you seen this as well? Plus another order for a further 36 SCALP?

I had always believed Greece ordered 24 AH-64A's. I remember the last batch of 4 were held up by the US after the Kardak/Imia crisis. (They had also held up 10 AH-1W's to Turkey, and in a fit of rage we cancelled them outright...) Above it is written as 20. So did Greece also end up cancelling or not receiving the last 4 "A's"?
exocet - March 13, 2005 10:44 PM (GMT)
They were not purchased because yankees asked about 120 mils dollars for 4 badly conditioned apaches...
Lord - March 14, 2005 09:18 AM (GMT)
Dear OYK1 i added some of the weappons you mention and you were right.
actually i haid the updated list of orders in my hands and didnt saw it. :hammer:
Here is the list...
About the scalps i think that the first order was about 54-56 and afterwoulds they added 34-36 more...so all in all they are >90 ...because i see in the articel the +34 scalps but i dont see the number of 90 ordered scalps change...have to check this out...

GREEK-AIRBORNE - October 18, 2005 10:22 PM (GMT)
Dear Lord
In your List you Write that we have 501 Leopard1A5 and 232 under delivery…
"Leopard 1A5: 501 (232 under delivery from German surplus) "
But in the “Amintiki Vivlos 2005-2006” it says that we have 349 Leopard 1A5 and 183 Under delivery.
Which one is more accurate?
Also according to the same source we have 11 Aegean Hawks (3 S-70B + 8 S-70B-6) and 1 S-70B under delivery and not 10 +1 Under delivery as you writte
"S 70B6 Sea Hawk:10 (+1 under delivery Dec.2004)"
And again according to Amintiki Vivlos..
The F-16 Block 30 is 32 and not 34

The inventory is from Amyntikh Byblos 2004-2005...and some greek magazines...
(Amyntika Themata-Amyntikh Epitheorisi-Amyna Dyplomatia)
For shure this days as soon i will find some time i will update...and if there is an mistake i will corect it...
PS If you can remember and read frequently our magazines...
at the time of the LEO deal...we went for 250 LEO1A5 plus the LEO2 A4...plus the 170 LEO2HEL...
Than alot of times the numbers changed...(especially about the LEO1...)
Instead of having more LEO1 ..we wanted more Leo 2A4...etc etc
of corse i have also the 2005-2006 Byblos...and i will update the list...if there are any confirmed changes... ;)
Thanks and Regards

Hey, LORD,
How are you?
I have a question about the list of air-to-air and air-to-ground ordnance the PA has in its inventory. Specifically, about the listing of JDAMs. There is at the top of the page a number of 300 JDAMs, and lower on the same list a number of 200 JDAMs and below it another number of 50. Are these in addition to the 300 listed, for a total of 550 JDAMs?
Personally, the PA should have a large inventory of JDAMs, perhaps between 1.000 to 2.000, or more.
