Title: WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Spartan - June 30, 2005 04:46 AM (GMT)
Guys,
We need to try a little harder to create some interesting threads. This place has some very sharp minds so why are we latting cyber trees go to waste? Cut them down and turn them into cyber paper and pen.
A challange!
Modus......more views about the EU
Koursaros....more historical threads
Thermopyle......money....banks....money
UBoot......more of everything
To the Turks in general.........give us more insight into Turkey and Turkish affairs. Do not fear outside opinions or criticism, in fact, others may see your problems from a different perspective......and different solutions. An open hands hold no secrets, an honest face holds no shame.
To the Greeks......we have nothing to worry about by talking about the good and bad of our beloved Greece. Many of us Greeks are far away from the mother land and we do not know what is going on internally. Again, an open hand holds no secrets, an honest face holds no shame.
C'mon people, we have to try a little harder to share our views. Unless of course I am wrong and the only thing that keeps some peoples interest is baiting and spitting.

Thermo,
I have to write up a contract this weekend but as soon as I'm finished, I want to write an article about the not so subtle (and government encouraged) change in our society form just a "consumer" to a "borrow and consume" society.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Guys, you have to realize how special this place by show of respect and restraint. In here we have some of the most hard headed and volatile societies on this planet and yet we have chosen to live together in peace. Kudos to all.
As for the clarion call to post, well, I am SURE that there is no Turk or Greek alive that does not have an opinion on EVERYTHING. Why not share it? Particularly in a great enviroment as this! :)
What is a "vacation"? Do you wear it? Eat it? What does it smell like? How do you get one? Hunt it down? Buy it at the food store? I heard about this "vacation" thing.......but I think it's a myth! :huh:
You are in the USA? Where about?
Thermopyles - July 6, 2005 04:49 PM (GMT)
Thermopyles - July 7, 2005 03:49 PM (GMT)
Kinda funny story, but I ended up living/working here :dunno:
God asked the Devil what he wanted hell to be like and the Devil answered....Arizona.
Every time I come down to Arizona, I keep trying attach an airconditioner to my butt....
Thermopyles - July 9, 2005 02:14 AM (GMT)
Aaaaaaw, c'mon you must only be coming in the summer (may to october), try coming in the winter Ahem... I mean Not Summer (novermber to april). Anyway, there are many places in AZ (anywhere at altitude more than 2.000m) that are not hot, even in the summer.
But it definetly doesn't rain enough... Anyway, next time you want to come, talk to me and I'll give you the inside info ;)
Actually the last time I was there was in July 2002. I bought a machine in Phoenix. I never realized how hot it was until I sat in the rental and grabbed the steering wheel. WOW! MY POOR HANDS! It was so hot that I had to start the car and let the airconditioner cool the car down before I could drive it.
As Glen Cambell sang....
By the time I ge to Pheonix, I'll be boiling. :P
