Title: tips and tricks + How to post pictures on here!
Description: On using an invisionfree site

I am sure other could add to this thread with their own tips and tricks too.

The fastest way to upload pictures onto this site is to use ImageShack. I personally use them for all my crazy pics.

Go to http://www.imageshack.us/index.php
and click browse, find the pic you want on your PC, click upload, then the site will present you several options. One of them is for it to copy the image onto your PC's clipboard (as if you had hit copy) so that it is viewable on forums. It will then put in all the correct coding with [IMG] so you don't need to push the IMG button on this site, it does it all for you. You just hit paste. Done.

EDIT - added 13/12/04
To do any code on this site is easy. Simply highlight the word(s( you want to effect then hit the applicable too button e.g. quote, and it will put code tags on both ends for you. Same with size. you'll see size as a drop down menu when posting. Click it the you will see a number in there. you can easily delete the number and replace it with another will change the size more so. Same with colour and other things. :P
These tages are basically - [then the name of it here] then on the end of the effect goes another tag [/and the name of it here]
Note how I put a f/slash in there at the end one? That close the tag, tells you it ends there with that tag. highlighting all and clicking a button outto puts tags in on both ends. Very nifty.
Now you get the joke you see from some people such as

I tried hosting my picture, but like before it's a bitmap and I don't know how to get it up.

(It's my comic.)

Hmm, ok, before people go posting their comics on here they need to come see me first really so i can decide if it should go up for voting on the inner circle ;) , to be on this site officially.

To make a bitmap into something else, open it with paint then save as something else, jpeg maybe. You may lose some picture quality doing this.

ACDM, you need to send me that comic of yours, email it.

Added more about tags to the first post here. People can feel free to add their own tips here. I've made the title of the topic broader so it covers more things, tips and tricks.

I notice that when I open something with paint, and save it as something else the quality degrades, but in MS pictureit when I do the same, it doesn't.
Anyway, here is a visual guide to making a poll work.

OK. I just made a poll and deleted it. The answers are Choice 1 etc, but each one of those answers I gave above came to 5, so you can see, each one to go on a line, no spaces between.
this is how it would look if laid out like

Choice 1
Choice 2
Choice 3
Choice 4
Choice 5
