Name: Starga
Age: 7
Gender: Fae
Pack: None
Rank: Loner
Appearance: As you take a first glance at this large form, one would see death and destruction, corruption and mayhem. A pelt of black and white is matted to the point of what once was a shiny, beautiful color, now rots in a filthy stench of a grey hue. However, through the discolorations of a once fabulous pelt, one can still determine where her pelt is white and where it is black. From between her orbs and down her chest and across her underbelly, there lay the whiter tinge of her matted pelt. The only other place her body holds this white color is at the very tip of her tassel where it once seemed as though it where dipped in a pool of bleach, just as the rest of the white upon her once was. Her orbs are another story. Once she had found a reason for them to be the color of the bright sun itself but now, now they are fogged over to a light and clouded yellow that, if looked into, would seem very cold and heartless. Perhaps that is true, perhaps that is not, nonetheless, her physical appearance has changed to a great extent over the past two years. The only part of her that holds a pure and beautiful shine are her fangs in which, if seen in the light, may just possibly be able to blind another due to the rest of her form being that of a bleak coloration. Will there ever come a day when her appearance will return to the same shine and luster it had two years ago?
All throughout her entire body lay scars upon scars. These scars fall on practically every part of her massive structure. The most obvious of these scars happen to be the first one she ever received, that is the one upon her left orb. This is a simple deep scar that reminds her of her past every time she glances into a pool of crystal clear water. Even upon her pillars lay these scars, scars that are all the cause and proving of her corrupted mind. Her once wondrous coloration is now nothing but dirt and dried blood which now reeks of an odor worse than that of a skunk. However, there are times where she will rid herself of this smell but the look of her pelt remains. After all, she has not found the need to groom herself at any time through these past two years.
As for her structure, she is beyond the size of any average wolven. Standing three foot at the shoulders is even larger than most of the males around. Under her massive body is a thick and hard layer of solid muscle, perfection to the tea for she is a fighter and fighters gain the muscle needed to win after each and every battle or war. Yes, that she is a fighter. Nothing about her would seem the same as it once was. Her body holds the truth to this for the numerous amount of scars, visible or not, probes who she is even if some oddly deep and others mere scratches. This still proves to be of use for now, this wild beast holds the power of pain, pain unlike any other. This pain is that of pure tolerance of it, meaning that she can stand the most deadly of wounds, and live to tell the tail. Some may ask why she would keep on living but she refuses to die. By the very look of her, one would think she is the walking dead, that is, if anyone could catch a good look at her. Every aspect of her is completely unrecognizable. If fully seen she would look to be a threat to even the most uncaring of wolves. However, one still has those features, those aspects in movement and attitude that show the way this wolf once was.
Personality: The personality of this corrupted wolf is complicated and, at times, so unpredictable no one can describe it in one specific way. Her personality can only be described in a way that is confusing and ever changing. Any sort of personality one can think of, Starga will most likely have been that way at some point in her life. However, there are some things that never change. Those are the things that matter the most. This she wolf my be blood thirsty and cruel hearted, but you will never catch her sinking her fangs into a pup. Yes, this seemingly heartless beast has indeed a weakness of all weaknesses, pups. She loves them with a heart that no one can describe. The simple touch from their soft little bodies sends her heart to leap with love for the small creatures. She has the heart any kind mother would have. Indeed, Starga would put her life on the line to rescue a pup, any pup, from the cruel fate of death.
Her mind is another part of her that not even she can fully understand. On her travels she has helped not only the bad, evil and cruel wolves, but also the loving and caring ones. She has fought bears, mountain lions and even the rouge wolves as well as the golden hearted ones. She does as she pleases goes where she wants, and does what ever she wants as well. Meaning that depending on her mood she will either help you or destroy you. There are wolves that fear her and there are those that love her. Some think of her as an angel and others see her as the devil. No one pack has the same knowing of who this night walker is. She is simply here. No soul knowing when she will sneak up and attack or help them out. Some packs even know her as both. She does stick around long enough to do that. Yes, one day she might save a pack from a mountain lion, the next she may be helping a pack of rouges kill off the pack she had just helped save the day before. However, it is all the same story, she is quick, too quick for any to get a real good look at her. Her speed can out last for hours at steady pace, hardly any can out run her. However, she will never be able to see as well as others can. Yes, she is partly blind though not fully. In the day light she can see just fine, but when the blanket of shadows come down upon the earth, her seeing becomes harder. So, she has trained herself to be greater at hearing, smelling, feeling and tasting. The rest of her senses help her in getting what she wants and when she wants it.
Now you may think that Starga is an all around evil heart, beside the fact that she has a soft spot for pups, but she is capable of being kind, loving and even playful. Yes, just to add to the confusion this wolf has the ability to love as well. She can be a loyal and trustworthy friend if you do not cross her the wrong way. Once you gain her trust it is very hard to loose it for she does have a heart, somewhere, deep inside and behind all the darkness. However, not only will she be your friend but she will be your worst enemy as well. She is very quick to turn and attack if she is threatened or if one of her friends is threatened. She is very protective of them as well as what she believes is hers. Still it is always up to you whether you want to be her friend or her enemy.
Sure, one my see this as one of the most complicated wolves to ever walk the planet but to some, she is a puzzle waiting to be solved. Perhaps she needs the hand of friend to guide her back to the wolven of a pure heart. But beware, there are wolves that would give anything to get into her mind first and change her to be a full fledge fighter and killer. Her temper is an obvious one and she shouldn’t be crossed. Beware in messing with her for she may be quick to tear any creature apart that dares to mess with her. So choose your words wisely for this creatures temper may get the best of her. After all, she feels no pain anymore. So why wouldn’t she fight? The only pain she feels, is the agony of the home she once had as well as the friendships she had made.
History: Past and present finally coming together as one on going story of a single wolf that seemed to always cause the most trouble of them all. Deep in the darkness of the forest is where this all started, where all the evil and malice came forth to the earth and began the life of a wolf. The mother wolf bore two strong and healthy female pups, both black, though one had some white, and much too big for their own good. From the start these two large pups would be raised to be the worst they could ever become, and be trained by one of the best fighters of them all. Attack even when it wasn’t necessary and cause the most mischief they possibly could for the rest of their lives. This is the story of the second born and smallest of the two. Starga be her name that the mother saw so fit for her. The one that would carry out the most problems and the one who would be the roughest and heartless of all living wolves combined. This is her story and this is how it was all played out.
~~~~~It Starts~~~~~
Long ago, in a place that would never seen fit for any good hearted pack wolf, a she wolf by which had no name, bore two strong, large, and fully healthy pups. Cursed she saw it for they were both faes and wouldn’t be strong willed males who would possibly do more damage than any fae. Or so she thought. One pup was pure black while the other had white from between her bright yellow orbs all the way through her stomach and then at the very tip of her tassel. The black pup had the lightest and coldest of pale blue orbs while the fae with white in her fur had the brightest of yellow orbs. They were also much too big for a normal female wolf. Still all their mother truly cared about was getting these pups, her pups, to be the meanest and cruelest wolves to ever walk the face of the earth.
The nameless mother never once kissed her pups nor did she ever speak a single kind word. “Jade,” she said in a low hiss, “this all black one is Jade. And the one with white, she shall be Starga. May evil course through your bodies as you grow with the very soul to kill.” Her words had no kindness, and it was extremely harsh from the very beginning. Even that very night when she first let them into the world, she only let them feed. She didn’t even want to give them a single lick to make them warm and rid them of the fluid that was on their bodies. Not wanting to kill them though, she let them use her warm body to shelter them from the cold. It seemed to work as they quickly fell asleep, their mother doing the same just moments after.
Now the pups were a year old and following the laws of their mother. Never did they dare disobey her and never would they question her ways. The one dubbed Jade was the first to really become the evil image her mother so highly thought of. Her pelt had been stained at the tips of her fur with blood from others. Forever would she have that evil malice plastered to her form. Every inch of her screamed danger for all pack wolves and none would mess with her. Starga on the other hand, seemed to be different in some way. True she was still evil, but there was something else to her that neither her mother nor sister could place a paw on.
A few months after the sibling’s third birthday, their mother died of a poison from the two leger’s awful trap. “Jade, you have proven yourself to me even more than your sister ever will. Lead the both of you to victory and keep the clan in check. Make me proud, Jade!” These were their mother’s last words as she disappeared from the living and entered the world of the dead.
As Jade took in these words, she let out an evil laugh and smiled with a deadly expression as she turned to face her sister. “Never, for the rest of the time you live, will you call me Jade. I hate that name for it is a sweet and kind name. I am not sweet nor kind. You were the one who got the name worthy of an evil wolf. Of course you know by now that you are to be my servant. Now let us go have fun with the pack nearest to us.” She hissed and then began to walk off to the pack that consisted of only the Alpha pair and their only pup. Jade had many plans of what to do with her life and loved the thought of killing basically everything and everyone. The whole time Jade spoke, Starga remained silent.
Starga reluctantly followed her purely cold hearted sister. Starga’s face looked of anger and malice though something told her different. Something was always trying to hold her back. She never fully killed a single wolf just badly hurt them. Crouching low in the deep bushes she snuck up to the side of her sister. Her auds perked to hear her given orders.
“I will kill the small wolves. They are much too small to stand a chance against me. We will be going against our mother’s former rules. Well you are. You will kill their only pup.” She hissed then proceeded forward to end the lives of the two new parents.
Starga couldn’t believe her auds. Never did she think of harming a pup. They did nothing wrong and they couldn’t defend themselves. Her sister was truly out of her mind. Still, Starga had a plan though she knew it wouldn’t end well. However, she crept over to the small pup, her sister distracting the two very small wolves. It was pouring rain and very hard for her to see the much too tiny pup. Her auds perked as she heard both the wolves being torn apart by her sister. Soon she found the small black wolf. Just as she did, Jade came into view, fresh blood dripping from her maw. The small pup was shaking with fear but Starga did nothing. She growled angrily then looked up to her sister. “I wont kill him! It is wrong!” She snapped at the blood stained she-wolf.
Jade’s cold orbs gave off no hint of kindness, love, or understanding in them. She was furious at Starga for not killing the small pup. Without a second thought she lunged at her, talons out and maw open wide as she went to attack and possibly kill her own blood sister. Starga held her ground and then lunged as well, to meet her sister’s attack. She was defending the pup, something that most cold hearted wolves wouldn’t dare do.
The fight continued though it didn’t last long. Jade slashed out her front pillar and made direct contact with Starga’s right orb, scaring her for life. Furious, Starga raced around her sister, using her incredible speed to easily out maneuver her slower counter part. When she reached her back side, she lunged at her sister’s tassel and bit down hard. When Jade went to face Starga, she flung her sister back to be in front of the small pup and half of her tassel snapping off in the jaws of the slightly smaller fae.
Jade howled in pain as her tassel was ripped away from her body. Starga saw this as the chance to escape. As quick as she could she snatched up the small pup and gently held him in her jaws. She dashed off into the distance and far away from her sister. She knew that Jade would forever try to find her and kill her. She had betrayed her own sister and forever would that be on her for the rest of her life. For when an evil heart betrays another of its kind, then the other and all others would be after the one who turned on them and now knew how everything was planned out. What Starga had done now spelled death for her at some point.
Starga dashed this way and that until she came to a steady flowing river. Thinking fast, she plunged in, holding her head high above the water as to not drown the pup. As she proceeded she knew that her trail was now lost to the river and her sister would have trouble tracking her down. Slowly she crept to the edge of the river and pulled herself out onto the bank. She then gently placed the young wolf on the ground and shook her pelt to be rid of the water. “So your name is?” She asked in a half growl as she looked down upon the whelp.
“I, I d-d-on’t ha-ha-have a n-n-name.” He said in a small and nervous voice. His ebon body was trembling with fear as he looked onto the large and seemingly evil fae who had just saved his life.
Rolling her orbs slightly, the cold femme peered at the whelp and thought of a name. Then she saw a small white mark on his cheek. It was the only impurity that marked his black pelt. It was on his left cheek and in the shape of a lighting bolt. Also taking into account of his size, Starga thought of a name for him. “Thunder. That shall be your name. Now to find a spot to hid you. Ah there is a good spot.” She then picked up the small fur ball and placed him in a hallow log not far from the border of a pack she was going to scavenge from in the near future. She then jumped on the top of the log and fell asleep just as the sun began to creep on the mountains.
~~~~~Jade alone~~~~~
Loud and hateful howl erupted into the night sky as the large dark form called to all of her clan to come and hear her out. Jade was furious for having her sister, her own blood, completely turn her back on her and the rest of the clan. Soon all the dark hearts for miles had gathered to hear what one of the evilest of wolves had to say, some possessing a calm and collected look while others showed their evil right out on their sleeve.
“Everyone! I am disappointed to say that Starga has left us! I have lost faith in all clan life and I leave all of you as well! No clan is worthy of my strength! Now I will be off to kill the one that caused me of this decision!” Rang the voice of Jade as her cold blue orbs looked out to those that were once a clan to her. Now they were nothing, nothing but an obstical in her way. As soon as she finished speaking, she leapt off of her post and dashed away into the shadows. She would follow the very sent of her sister until she found her and killed her. Never happy until she was dead.
~~~~~Over to Starga~~~~~
The moon’s light slowly rose to touch the lids of the sleeping fae on the hollow log. Shut ebon lids became slits as their owner awoke from a good days sleep. Sharp talons dug into the log as the oversized fae stretched and rose from her crouched position. Starga’s yellow orbs looked about the very land she stood upon. It smelled of love and compassion, a pack that would be all too easy to steel from. Black maw quickly pointed out where this pack was placed and what they were doing at the present moment. ‘Good, they have just brought down a deer. Now I will go see what I can pick up.’ She thought to herself as she looked into the hallow log at the young wolf. “Stay there! I wont be long.” She barked before treading off into the distance down wind of the pack.
Bright yellow orbs were keen on their target as black and white maw worked swiftly to locate where this pack had their kill. Soon, Starga was able to see the pack and her competition. ‘Large brute, a couple of members, not that hard. Only six total.’ She thought as she hid herself in bushes and deep in the shadows where none could find her. Her orbs were all that could be seen but the pack was busy eating and not worrying about what or who may have had their mind on their meal.
All of the sudden, the reddish wolf dashed up the mountain making five. Starga was becoming all the more anxious to feed on the elk that this pack had so perfectly brought down for her. Not long after the red fae ran off, another dashed after her, a dark grey old wolf who limped slightly. Now there were four, a large black wolf, strong built and obviously the Alpha. Another grey fae with perfectly arranged with all sorts of color was not too far from him and talking to him. There was also a light grey wolf with white scattered about her and an Indian ornament around her neck holding a falcon’s feather. She too was talking to the large male. They seemed to have eaten already leaving the last one, most likely a loner for she smelled nothing of the same pack. She was a smooth velvet color and looked a lot like the old wolf.
After not too long of a wait, the large brute took the two fae’s he was talking to with him, leaving the last wolf, the black velvet one, to eat alone. Now would be the only change Starga had to get some food. Quickly she got down wind of the fae and behind her, muscles relaxed and ready for attack. In a flash, Starga was right on top of the unsuspecting fae grabbing hold of her face and staying on for a good while before the fae, named Velvet, ripped away from her grip. Snarling lightly Starga leapt again pushing the fae over and jumping back to the kill. Without another thought, Starga ripped a good hunk out of the elk and dashed into the darkness before the pack came to the rescue, though they did see her she got away safely. The Alpha was the one to go after her, though Starga had too much of a lead for him to get to her fast enough. Starga had gotten what she had come for and would be back later. For now she needed to get back to the pup and give him some of the meat she carried in her jaws.
~~~~~A few months later~~~~~
Time had past and Starga was back for more only this time she was interested in this pack and thought them to be worth her time, so she sat in the shadows looking upon the light grey wolfess with white spots around her body. She was walking alone and looked a bit down though the rest of the pack was not too far off resting in the shade of the pine trees high over head. The velvet wolf she had attacked was gone. The ground was covered in leaves as fall was running though the territory. Starga had no doubt in her mind that the Alpha knew she was still around but was unable to track her for she was always in a different spot.
The sound of leaves cracking were abruptly heard when Starga misplaced a pad and almost stepped right on top of a white rabbit. Having not eaten for a while, she dashed after it, running in the middle of the clearing and now the light grey fae could clearly see her. Starga soon realized what she had just done and turned her body to the other side of the clearing. Unfortunately for her, she tripped over a slippery rock and gashed open her pad. She went to get up but the fae was right there licking her paw. Starga snarled and snapped at the fae as she jumped back. “I am sorry ma’am if I intruded your space. I just like to help others. Oh my name is Maya and…” She soon trailed off as the large black Alpha came charging in on the scene, pushing Maya back away from Starga.
“Who are you and what do you want here?” He snarled as he looked to Starga with angry orbs. Starga simply stood on her pillars and looked to the brute. He was pitch black with green orbs. She was just slightly smaller than him but it was not very noticeable. Her bright yellow orbs did not look into his as she stood there motionless as the breeze blew by her thick pelt.
“Me? I am simply here because I am. I have been her for months looking upon your pack with interest. My name is Starga and I wish to join your pack.” She said in a loving voice and a small head nod.
“You attacked the velvet one only month’s ago and you wish to join my pack?” Kealo was confused but also angry. However, Starga was not doing anything at the moment that would make him feel as if she were going to attack him, for she wasn’t planning on it.
“I did what I needed to survive. I am sorry for my actions and will be loyal to you and the rest.” She nodded again. If this hadn’t have happened she would have never thought of joining the pack but she thought this bluff would work and it seemed to be doing just that as the Alpha became calm and relaxed slightly.
“Very well. I am Kealo, and this is your new home. I will be keeping my eye on you so do not wonder very far.” Starga’s plain had worked perfectly and now she would have food when ever the pack brought it down and would not have to wait very long to get it. Soon the multi-colored fae came up to Kealo and brushed up against him. She snarled but then stopped as she noticed there was no danger.
“Hello Starga, I am Alieska, your Alphess.” Starga simply nodded and smiled warmly as her pelt shone to perfecting in the sun’s rays. She had the pack and the food, now she needed to find a time where she could visit the small pup every now and then so as to get him the food he needs to survive.
~~~~~Back to Jade~~~~~
Jade’s large ebon packs struck the ground at a steady rhythm as she pressed on ward down the swerved path she had found. She was very mad as she had lost the trail of her sister and her enemy. A lake not too far away, held a certain calling to the large fae as her throat was very dry. Head slowly bent down to the rich water and drank her fill as her pale blue orbs closed. She soon opened them to see a light brownish red outline of another wolf in the reflection of the water. Jade’s first reaction was to snarl and warn the brute but when she looked up she saw no reason to for he looked harmless.
“Who are you?” She snapped in her usual tone of voice. The male wolf said nothing and this made Jade very angry for it was winter, the breading season and this brute had a look in his white orbs that Jade had never seen before. It was a look of neither death, nor life, love, nor hate, but an unexplainable passion Jade had not witnessed in her life.
Jade was transfixed in the gaze of the large brute and before she knew what had hit her, he leapt clean in the air and pinned her to the ground growling and snapping at her. “Don’t move! If you do I will force you to do what I want!” Jade did not listen to the brute as she grabbed hold of his maw with her large fangs and used her pads to scrape his body off of her own.
The rolled for many minutes as blood of both wolves spilled on the ground before them. This brute was very thick headed and would not let up, but so was Jade. She fought this brute as if fighting for her life. Unfortunately for her, she was not as quick as the large brown-red wolf and he got her real tired and panting heavily. He saw what he was waiting for and he took it. Dodging to the left and right, he was soon behind her and grasping hold of her back end. Jade was, for he first time, frightened as she did not know what this brute was doing. She rolled over and around on the ground but he would not let go. She could feel something inside her and he had a rhythm going that sent a sensation through her body she did not know of.
After a good thirty minutes of this torture and Jade continually ripping at the brute’s flesh when she could, Jade finally grabbed hold of his neck and wouldn’t let him go. He was still inside her every final breath he took. With his final breath he managed a few more very harsh rhythms before loosing grip and falling to the ground, as the two wolves slowly came apart and the male dead at Jades pads. She had been rapped and now life would move inside her in a few months.
~~~~~Months later~~~~~
Inside of a cold and dark den, Jade had given birth to two very large and strong pups. One was a male the other a female. She refused to give them names as she didn’t want them in the first place. Still, she cared for them and thought they could help her one day in destroying all wolves or making them all bow to her. They grew up fast and soon Jade left them on their own for days on end. She had found Starga’s trail and was ready to fight her and the pack when she got the change. So, she left the pups alone one night as she set off to kill her sister.
~~~~~Back to Starga~~~~~
Starga and Kealo were talking to one another about Maya. She had run off because she had gotten attacked by a bear, leading the bear off and fell in the river. No one could find her and some had given up. Her brother, Myth, a very dark navy blue looking black wolf, was worried about her and wished to get her back. Kealo was just about to ask Starga to go off into the forest and get her when a small black form came running out of the shadows.
“Mommy, where have you been? I am hungry. Did you forget about me?” It was dear old Thunder talking to Starga. Though Starga had told him time and again not to come out of his hiding spot, he seemed to have gotten too bored and hungry to last in the hollow log any longer.
Starga was surprised when she heard the young wolf speak and walk out of the shadows very confident about himself. Starga looked to him then up and Kealo, almost ashamed that she had never mentioned the young brute before. Kealo just smiled and looked to him then Starga. “So, who’s the lucky brute?” He laughed as he looked to Starga.
Starga smiled then shock her head slightly. “There is no brute. I saved young Thunder.” She laughed then looked back to Thunder. “Now didn’t I tell you to stay put?” She laughed and for the first time in her life, meant to be kind. She had grown to love all the members of the Windsong pack and would risk her life for them if she had to. In the back of her mind she knew her sister would be back after her and that sent her into nightmares every night.
Kealo smiled to the young wolf. “Hello, there Thunder. I am Kealo. I hope you stay with the pack.” Thunder simply nodded his head to the Alpha and smiled up at him. Kealo was a sucker for pups and from the first moment he saw the young wolf, he loved him and wished to call him his own. Green orbs then looked back to Starga, worried filled them though his voice showed nothing of it. “Starga, I will take care of Thunder, would you please go after Maya and do your best to find her.”
Kealo didn’t need to say any more for Starga simply nodded and was off in the blink of an eye, dashing down the edge of the river and out of the pack boundaries. She was determined to find Maya and she hoped she would. Thunder simply looked at her and said goodbye as she disappeared into the shadows. He knew she would be back for Starga would not give up with out a fight. Now if she was with Maya or not, that would be a different story.
The large fae raced on down the river as she could smell what was left of Maya’s sent as she floated down the river. Soon she stopped as her sent was strong only filled with blood. Bright yellow orbs looked about desperately looking for Maya. She spotted a large amount of blood on the white snow beneath her pads. Maya was not here but it was clear she had fought another animal, this time a wolverine. Heart was now pounding as she raced on, only hoping that Maya would be able to live once she found her.
Suddenly, Starga saw a slight form of the grey wolf. Pace quickened as Starga had reached Maya. Orbs became wide as Maya was unconscious in her own pool of blood. Having no time to think, Starga began cleaning every wound she could. Maya was still slowly breathing but very much unconscious. Once every wound was cleaned, Starga laid down next to her providing her with more warmth in the winter air. She laid her head down slowly and fell asleep, hoping that Maya would be awake in the morning.
Early the next morning, Starga woke up to see Maya trying to stand. Pleased that she was attempting to get up, Starga helped her do so and then, when Maya got her balance she sat back upon her haunches and sighed heavily. “Thank you Starga, but I do not think I will be going back to the Windsong pack. No one needs me there.”
Starga was very much surprised by these words and wished that they had never been spoken. “Don’t be ridiculous. We all love and care about you. If we didn’t, do you think they would have sent me to come and get you back? Now come on, let’s go home.” She smiled then helped Maya to her pads. Maya smiled and nodded her head as they went at her pace back to where Starga had been first asked by Kealo if she would go and get Maya.
After a good long journey at a fair pace, both Starga and Maya reached there destination in good time. However, there was not a single soul in sight as their orbs searched the area. With one good long whiff of the area, Starga realized that they must be on a pack run, bonding the pack together. Starga nodded to Maya with a wide smile across her maw as she rose her head to the sky and called to the pack, or mainly the Alpha of the lands. Before long, her auds caught the sound of Kealo and without another thought, both Maya and Starga dashed off to the rest of the pack. Both running as fast as they possibly could, though Starga going at the pace that Maya chose.
Not having to go for a long while on a run, the rest of the pack came into view. Maya was overjoyed and sprinted to greet Kealo, Kealo doing just the same. Finally the two wolves were back within the pack of the Windsong. Maya and Starga were now standing there before the Alpha and he couldn't hold himself back. He ran to Maya and licked her maw nuzzling her ever so gently as a warm welcome back. He was so glad that she was back and looking alright as it showed in each and every one of his features. She had a small limp but otherwise she seemed pretty good. Tassel wagging furiously, Kealo yipped for all of the others to come greet Maya and the one wolf that had brought her back. Kealo ran to her side as well, rubbing up against her, pleasure running through his veins. She had done the impossible, Starga had brought Maya back to them and he thought could never repay her enough. He licked her maw in excitement and tried to get her to come with him as he practically flew back to Maya’s side. He wished to be by both and they were so far away from one another. He leaped into the air and decided to add a new note to the air. He sang a melodious tone that had never before come from him. It was full of happiness and love. It rang through the terra and up into the endless sky. He called for the pack to join him, to harvest their voices with his.
Starga smiled as she watched her Alpha run back to Maya. She too followed then lifted her head in song to his. Her song was not so beautiful but what could one expect from one who was once black hearted? Off in the distance the young black wolf, Thunder awoke from his slumber. He rose his maw out of the snow and looked over to where the songs erupted from. All the sudden he jumped to his paws and dashed over to Starga jumping on her back in pure joy that she was back. His tassel was flying from side to side. He slid off her back and sat on his haunches next the her. For the first time he rose his maw and joined in with the beautiful songs of the pack. His song was unlike any other enough to turn the head of any wolf. It was unbelievable, a song of pure heart and strength. It had different tones and they blended together beautifully, unlike any wolf could ever do. Soon after all wolves had joined in this wondrous song of pure happiness.
Starga stopped her song suddenly and looked down at Thunder. His song hit her ears wonderfully, such a beautiful note rose from his maw hitting notes no other wolf could. Her head drifted over to the other side of her and found Kealo sitting and howling next to her. He may have started the song but she was going to finish it. Her orbs were now full of cleverness as she thought of what she would do. Finally, with her tassel wagging, she sprang up from where she sat, flipped around and landed to the side of Kealo’s back pushing him to the ground. Just as fast as she had tackled him she was clear across the clearing and sitting on her haunches smirking at the joke she had just played on him. Her tassel was wrapped neatly around her front pillars and her orbs were focused on him watching his every move for she knew that even though she wasn’t as fast as him she would still have a huge lead and with her agility she could dodge and turn around before he even reached her making it harder and harder for him to catch her. Her talons sunk deep into the earth ready and waiting to leap up as soon as he came after her if he ever did.
Not a moment passed before Kealo was back on his feet. He didn't even take the time to shake the white coating from his ebonite fur. He raced off but he did not go in the direction that Starga sat. Instead he raced in the exact opposite direction. When he was far into the woods he shook his fur furiously getting every speck of white from his shadow like pelt. Then he took a hard left and ran in a giant arc that would eventually lead him to where Starga was. He could see Starga sitting within the boundaries of the tree's edge. She was searching for his outline running through the forest, not knowing that Kealo was indeed behind her. A large wolfish grin spread across Kealo's dark maw. He raced out of the forest and landed right on top of her large form, he had her pinned to the ground and he was looking straight into her glowing yellow orbs with his own warm emerald ones. "Gotcha!" He said with a wolven laugh.
Starga realized she was out witted again, she couldn’t help it she had poor eye sight and it was hard for her to see him in the shadows. Turning to her back her paws found Kealo’s under belly and with all her strength heaved him off her sending him tumbling over her head. She quickly got up and leaped clear over him. Dashing and dodging him trying to reach her again. She was glad to be home and loved to play with her Alpha. She came to a stand still suddenly, she was almost like a brick wall so not even Kealo could knock her over. She was looking over at a tree in front of her though it seemed she was staring at nothing, she tilted her head to one side curiously. She was looking at two new wolves by the name of Chira, a red and white fae with Indian artifacts about her body, and Lindori, a large black wolven. She had yet to meet them and the male looked a lot like Kealo but not quite. She was always up for meeting new wolves even though the one called Chira had human artifacts on her. Still she dipped her maw ever so slightly in acceptance. "Hello to both of you. My dubbance is Starga, may I ask of yours?" She stood proudly, her face and tassel where held seriously without movement awaiting and answer form either one of them.
After introductions between only Starga and Chira, Lindori failing to speak out, Arawey had asked Chira about the Indians. Starga gave off a slight growl after hearing the story, but not one of anger but one of despise toward humans. No matter what 'breed' they were she still hated them along with dogs, almost as much as she hated her past. Still she nodded her head to the both of them seeing that the brute was off in his own world she didn’t bother a response till later. She trotted over to the other side of the clearing and sat on her haunches sensing the air and all around her. She caught a faint sent of an odd wolf, if it was a wolf, but paid no mind to it. She was still overwhelmed with the thought of humans and not really caring about anything else.
~~~~~Thunder~~~~~
Thunder scanned the clearing and upon locating Kealo dashed over to him. Once he reached him he climbed up his back and tugged playfully at his ear. Loosing his balance Thunder slipped off and landed on his side. He got up dizzily looking up at Kealo. "Hello Sir!" he said with a bright smile. He then trotted off toward Alieska and laid down next to her back pillar, wagging his tassel joyfully.
Soon after, Kealo came over to the small black pup and sat beside him. “Why is it you insist on calling me Sir, Thunder?” He asked as it was always bothering the Alphen that this small pup would keep on calling him Sir even when he had asked before for him to use another word. Just about any would do but the fact that this young wolf was so proper in calling him ‘Sir’ well, Kealo just wouldn’t have it.
Thunder was a bit confused, he tilted he head to one side looking over at Kealo. "I do not understand. I was always taught to announce an Alpha as Sir or Ma’am depending on whom I wish to speak. Would you rather Kealo, Mister, Lord, Alpha, dad oops..." Realizing what his last name was he flattened his maw into the soft snow and placed his front pillars over his maw for he didn't know if this would offend him since Thunder was not his pup after all. Just then a howl from Starga drifted over the sky as she gave permission for Kealo to consider Thunder as his own son. Kealo was pleased and very excited. “Dad will do just fine.” He said in a warm voice as he looked down to Thunder. The small mascu looked up into Kealo’s warm green orbs and smiled. He had a Dad again and a Mom that was next to him, he rubbed up against Alieska softly then landed against Kealo wagging his tassel slowly as to not whip Alieska by accident he placed his maw beside Kealo’s front pillar and closed his eyes. Before he fell asleep the last words that he spoke softly of were "Dad, Sir is Dad." and he drifted off into a silent slumber.
~~~~~Starga~~~~~
A few months had passed and we now find Starga and most of the pack facing another femme by the name of Sweetfur. This fae was in the wrong and had stolen food from the pack. She had even said she wished for acceptance and the reason being she wanted a mate. Starga was the first to this and soon after the rest came. The fae was told to leave and after much debate she seemed to have run off, but the truth of is was that she hadn’t. Her pillars were still resting on Windsong lands and Starga was not a happy wolven. Starga is now furious with this wolf, even if this Sweetfur was only going to her pup. What would happen to this trespasser?
Starga had reached the border and stopped suddenly, uncertain if Kealo would like it if she crossed. Instead she barked at the fae with rage a furry etched in her voice. "If you will protect your pups then come here or I shall call to my past and have her take care of them." Starga could not believe what she had just said but shook it off and continued to bark at the fae. "Come and face me like a true wolf or your pups will suffer greatly!" With that she got low and took a step out of the boundary showing she did not care to cross, for she had once been a rouge and being use to crossing many boundaries she was not fearful of doing so now. Before she could do anything, both Kealo and Lindori were in front of her, protecting the pup almost scolding her for saying such a thing. However, Kealo did say if the femme was up for this challenge. Starga was not going to back down. She was raging with fury. "I did not say I was after the pups! I want that fae! Besides my past is no were near here! I want her to defend herself! I love pups but none that belong to her! Still I would cause no harm to them! Now move so I can kill that cowered that stands over them!" Blazing with furry Starga waited for Kealo and Lindori to move. Soon they did, taking both pups with them. Now it was just her and the intruder. Starga was not going to let this fae get off easily.
Starga was furious. "Come on!" She barked edging the fae closer and closer to attacking her. She held her body so low it looked like she was almost laying on it. Only a slight ray of light showed from underneath her, showing that she was an experienced fighter, and a smart one at that. She stopped growling and simply showing her fangs, looking deep into the orbs of the fae. She was deliberately making the fae think she had a chance. Her auds were flat and fur was up. Her love of fighting and torture rang throughout her entire body as she waited for the fae to attack, timing her moves and her reactions. Sweetfur could tell what she was trying to do so she made a quick move by running at her and trying to grab hold of her neck with her own pearl white daggers. Starga dodged the fae’s attack and had her barley graze her left blade. Sweetfur was right were she wanted her. Starga was laughing at the faes attempted to grab her neck, and a surge of energy was rapidly flowing through her whole body. She countered the attack and dashed for her face, maw open wide, she wanted to blind the fae somehow and make her feel every slice Starga put upon her body.
By now there was an audience of wolves watching the fight. Even the young Thunder was around and watching, though not to his own will. He knew how Starga fought and it scared him to no end. Still, he staid watching the battle and did so without interruption. Soon Sweetfur couldn't take it anymore she laid down on her side and said, "Kill me now." This was not something expected for Starga had barley begun her doing upon this fae. Starga was full of rage and was going too fast to be able to stop, nor did she notice what the fae said. She grasped the faes face with her teeth. Her upper K-9 penetrated deep in the faes right eye socket and her bottom K-9 reaching her bottom jaw. She landed on the ground bringing the fae down with her strength. The fae would feel every attack Starga would make. With her powerful jaws, she clenched down to hear the faes cheek bone snap. Starga had succeeded in making her blind in her right eye. She let go, turned around and kicked the fae hard with her powerful back legs, blood from the faes face stained Starga’s maw. Laughing she barked at the fae. "You will fight or your death will be a long one." With that she dashed at the faes blind side and grabbed her right ear yanking it off with ease. She dashed back over to the other side of the clearing and put the ear down in front of her. She no longer growled or showed her fangs but her orbs here ice cold and her mind was set on making the faes last moments on earth a miserable one. "Come on now you can still attack me. After all you are only blind in one eye." Starga circled the fae making sure she staid in her blind spot the entire time. Starga was dodging back and forth always staying in the faes blind spot and never getting out of it. She leapt at the faes paw viscously tearing it and having the blood pour out form both the front and the back. She then backed up and circled the fae laughing now and again evilly.
Starga dashed at the fae again grabbing her tassel hard clenching it with her powerful jaws and with a loud snap it came off with what seemed to be nothing but a small accomplishment. With the tassel still in Starga’s maw she dashed to the other side where the ear still lay and dropped the tassel down with it for her to see. "I told you if you backed down your death would be long and painful!" She barked furiously. She dashed back at the woozy fae and clenched down on her back pushing her to the ground. She pulled back taking a chunk of her flesh with her and threw it to the ground. The fae was badly hurt and Starga loved it. All of it. "I love to see you die slowly. This is who I am and I will not let anyone forget it. This is how I fight and this is how it always should be! I will not kill you but have you die a slow and painful death. If you find a kind enough pack within a few days then you may be lucky enough to survive but with crippling injuries! If you do not you will die of another eating your meek body, starvation or loss of blood! I am finished with you be gone!" With that Starga lifted her now angered but sickly happy maw and sang the same song she use to sing so long ago. It was cold and heartless. It told that she was back and stronger than ever. It also said that if any cross her path again they would receive the same fate. As her song finished she looked at the meek fae. "Pathetic! At least my other fights were worth it!" She then trotted over to the terra and leapt by the others leaving the fae as she was, barley able to move. She walked far from the pack to the other side of the clearing and sat waiting to see what the pack would now do.
Soon after, Kealo slowly slipped away from the others and into the shadows that had served him well through out his life as Alphen of the Windsong pack. He had just finished off Sweetfur for he could not bring himself to leave a wolven like such to suffer. He silently walked by Starga and sat his dark form down, lying on his stomach by her side. He knew that she had not wanted him to kill the femme, but he had to. It was not in him to watch her suffer or go on with life knowing she was so close to death. It would have plagued him and he would not bring that upon his beloved pack. He wasn't sure how to address her but he knew they must speak now. "Starga, that was how it must be, I could not leave her like that, no matter how badly she disobeyed me or broke wolven laws. You must understand, I could never leave her that way, you, being one of my very closest friends should know me and my ways." He spoke without showing how unsure he was, his voice was confident. He looked over to the femme whom he treasured so much, this pack would not be without her, but he had never told her that, he thought about it and if the time was right, she would know. For now he awaited a response so he could go on to her past.
Starga did not want to talk to anyone but stayed put and showed respect toward her alpha. Her fur was still bristled and orbs refused to show love, just a cold chill. She grunted to Kealo letting him know she was paying attention and knew he was there. A sigh escaped once more from Kealo's parted maw and then he began again. "Starga, please, do not act this way. I have never seen you like this before since you entered the pack. It scared me Starga! My dear friend was taken over by her old ways her rouge self is beginning to resurface. I don't want to loose you, I need you to stay here with me." He hoped she was truly listening to him though he couldn't be sure with her rough exterior showing. He was hardly this sensitive with anyone but Starga was important and so he opened himself up a bit. "Starga, what is it that haunts your past? Please explain to me what you have been through before that you were raised in such a way? Can you do that for me, not as your alpha but as your friend?" his tassel swayed hopefully, his orbs were warmer than before but not fully like Alieska could make them.
Starga was paying attention though her expressions and body still stayed the same and her orbs where a cold and heartless color. Thoughts about her past were now rushing through her mind and her fur bristled more so than before as her muscles too tightened up. "You say you want to know. A secret that can not be told. A past so dreadful even the bravest cannot with hold. Betrayal and loss tags at my back. Following every move I make following my track. Lurking amongst the shadows is a creature, a beast with no heart at all. Caries on, killing tiny balls. It tracks all wolves to kill the one that will bring it to fall. It does not know witch one it’s to be, so it kills all. Hunting a pup from a loving mom. I betray it by taking Thunder from his father, Tom. It killed his father and mother as well. For its rage rings like a bell. No, it can not be for the one who haunts my past is almost like me. Her pelt is bordered by a ring of hate. Orbs telling all it meets their fate. A fight with it would be a big mistake. You’ve heard a brief out look on my past. To know the rest I cannot be asked." This rhyme was all very true and told all about what Starga had been through. It was something that was sick and wrong but she had to live with it.
"Why do you speak in riddles to me and stop your story there? Can you not out right tell me what your past hides?" Kealo looked away his orbs once again fierce and cold to the world. His patience had been pushed by the now dead fae and he had none left for Starga. He felt like he should just walk off from her but wondered if he should give her more time to explain. Using all of his remaining patience down to the very last drop, he stayed frozen to his spot. If she snapped at him or continued in this rhyme he would leave her. It irritated him to think about turning his back on her but he could not stand it at this moment.
Soon a rigid body approached Kealo and Starga. It was Alieska. Nearly snarling she spoke out, "Starga, you have dishonored this pack. Not only did you challenging a very injured fae, but you then tortured her before leaving her to die. That is not the way of the wolf. Following that, you would not tell your alpha what he asked, instead speaking in riddles." Alieska's breath came fast and hard, and she glared at both the wolves before her.
Starga’s heart pounded against her hard chest. Though her emotion and posture did not change a single tear appeared from both or her orbs. True her rouge self was fully showing on the outside, the new her was fully there and these words hurt her badly. Still the rouge in her only let out two tears as she got up and stood in front of Alieska eyes still no softer than before. "Can't you see?" She asked staring right into Alieska’s orbs, filling them with her entire past. As she too hold of her mind she spoke to Kealo about it as it was piled on top of Alieska. "As a pup my mother raised me and my sister to fight and attack those who were weaker, but only to torture not to kill. When I refused I was punished by being beaten or by starvation, so I had to learn how to hunt on my own without a pack. My mother was cruel yes, but she would not allow anyone to harm any pups. My father ran off before I was born. When my mother died, she left my sister in charge. With my sister in charge she changed the way we lived. She killed all pups we ran into for she believed one day one would kill her. Not only did she kill the pups but the adults as well. She went to the weaker pack and the stronger ones she snuck by and killed the pups.
“One cold night she told me she would take care of the pup’s parents and I was to kill the pup. Instead of killing the pup I took him and hid him. She found out easily because of the way I acted. So she attacked me for disobeying shouting 'traitor' and 'you betray me'. We fought for a long time. She gave me this scar and in return I severed her tassel. While she was in pain I dashed of to where the pup lay, grabbed him and took off to stubble on this pack. You all showed me how a true wolf was supposed to act. I found friends, and you accepted Thunder. What troubles me is that my sister may still be wanting me, for running from a fight with a rouge, its to the death and there would be no turning back. But I did. This would anger not only her but all rouges. I am now labeled as a coward to all rouges. True my sister is still killing all pups in sight and that I cannot help and I am hoping that she is more interested in tracking me down than killing others. Now you know about what troubles me, my past is no longer a secret but a dreadful story. Yes the stories other packs tell to their pups about the one that will kill them if they wander to far, is unfortunately true. I avoid others gazes for this reason. It controls my mind and my every thought." With this she left Alieska’s gaze and sat down. The words she spoke were in her cold voice for her rouge self was still there and her body showed plainly that it truly was.
Starga’s anger coated orbs were now full of fear as the pack began to form around her. Had all the pack heard her past? She was shaking furiously as she looked around and found herself enclosed, trapped, in a circle created by her pack. Seeing Arawey’s small figure she pounded that was and leapt over her dashing for the woods. Rouges hated being enclosed and is frightened them severely. Though she was no longer all rouge what showed now was a rouge and she could not stand it. Part of her wanted to stay and howl with the pack but knowing the WHOLE pack heard her story she was frightened, and on top of it enclosed her in a circle. On shaky legs she ran past the now dead fae and far out of the packs territory. She needed time to gather her thoughts. What had just happened was way too much for her to handle, be it rouge or not she couldn’t face them knowing all the pack knew about what she had been through. She ran faster and faster, faster than she had ever ran before. Dodging trees and bushes as she was, scraping her fur causing light blood and small scratches on her body. She managed on howl, though cold it meant she would return once she had calmed down. She did not want to cause the pack ham in anyway and did not want to be her rouge self in front of them when she returned.
~~~~~~~~~~
Starga was curled tightly in a ball asleep with her tassel over her maw when she heard Kealo growl for everyone to stay back. He was doing his job just fine. Sense she was down wind the pack would not be able to sense her. Her auds twitched as she heard fast moving pads coming toward her. She lifted her head and stood up sniffing the brisk air. She knew right away it was Arawey, though she seemed to be upset. Quickly Starga got up and darted in front of her path. Her orbs were still cold and fur was still up slightly but her heart was as pure as gold. Ever since Starga had met the young Arawey she seemed to always be upset. Noting that Arawey was moving at a fast speed Starga braced herself for the impact that Arawey would give her. With her orbs closed, Arawey ran faster and farther from her pack and love. Then as she opened them more just a moment she saw Starga standing straight in her path. She tried to stop but only skidded kicking up dirt and a last remaining bit of slush. With her full on force she slammed into Starga's side and was sent flying to the tundra floor. She gasped as she looked up to see if Starga was alright, her own stomach was pounding from the impact's force. She didn't know what to say, she had never really been much of friends with Starga and she still looked as fierce as ever. But something about her seemed different at that very moment. Something she couldn't understand that lead her to just gaze at her, silence persisted all around them. Then she heard footsteps in the distance, Myth was drawing nearer. "Please, Starga. I don't want to be found." She pleaded with the fae before her, now knowing at all what Starga was thinking.
Starga closed her orbs as dust flew up in her face. Feeling the blow from Arawey made her fall sideways rolling to the ground. She got up quickly hearing what she had said and shook off. "Follow me." She said in her cold hearted voice and dashed farther away from the pack and into the river splashing in it and dashing farther down it causing both other there scents to disappear. When they were a good length away from the others she jumped out of the river and a few miles farther away from the rest making sure there would be no possible way they could find them. When she reached a thickly wooded area with extremely high bushes she slowed down to a trot and traced the bushes that were way too high to jump. Finding a small hidden hole in one of the bushes she bushed through to the other side. Making sure Arawey was still behind her she looked back. Arawey was right there coming out of the hole. All around them were beautiful flowers and trees that stood strong and proud. A lake was in the middle of it all, crystal clear and fish swam freely. She looked back again at Arawey. "They won’t be able to find us now." She said this with her still cold voice then walked over the lake for a drink.
~~~Continued~~~
Hmm... *ponders* I think I shall tell Ikari. Starga is one of my most chearished charracters after all :D . Thank you!
Ill just continue the story here ^.^
~~~~~~~~~~
Starga was restless and found it hard to sleep. Arawey had gone back to the pack as the pups were now born and needed looking after. She rose to her pads once again and padded back over to the path. She trotted the path for many hours until she finally came upon two guard wolves at the entrance to an enclosed area covered in beautiful flowers. Starga stopped in front of the guards and bowed her head very low. "Hello again my friends. I wish to speak with Teller please." She raised her head and peered at the two wolves who were surprised to see her so nice. "Yes ma'am, M'Lady Starga." With that Starga got up and walked into the circle of flowers and sat down in front of an old white wolf. He was obviously blind for his orbs were stark white and no other color was visible on any part of them. He was a very large wolf, possibly bigger than Kealo. He took in deep breaths to tell who was around him. "Ah, Starga you have changed my friend. Long time no see. I told you that you would change now didn't I?" He laughed at his joke though it wasn't quite a joke, still Starga laughed to show respect. "Yea, guess your right. As always. Though I didn't understand you. At all." Her smile staid clear even though she knew he could not see it. Teller spoke to her in a more serious tone this time. "You don't need to understand me. But do as your heart says to. Soon you will need to know things that I have told. I must sleep now for I have been awake for too long." With that he turned around and laid on his pillow of flowers falling into a deep sleep. Starga was a bit annoyed but refused to show it as she too fell asleep at the other side of the clearing, thinking of everything ahead of her.
~~~~~Jade~~~~~
A long time had passed as Jade was now five years of age and stronger than ever. Her pups were now old enough to care for themselves as she went off searching for her sister. She wanted revenge and she was determined to get it. Whatever it took she would get it and get it soon. She found the pack of which Starga had called home and now was even more determined to get there. She staid in the shadows down wind watching over the pack and sniffing out her sisters sent that loomed over the terra. She was very interested in a good fight with her sister sense she had betrayed her and therefore she never forgave her. Her sister had disobeyed her and ended them both fighting. In the fight her sister was left with a scar and she with half a tassel. Her sister fled when she had successfully injured her and had a chance to get away. This was an insult to her and therefore she wanted to get back at her sister ever sense. She gave off a deep and cold chuckle that rattled thoughts around in her head, but it could not be heard by anyone. "Let them walk right up to me, and then I'll act like I'm going for the pups, or maybe I will any way. Pup will not be here to block my way, gee I will never understand that love for pups or any love for that matter. Still I despise the little devils and now even more sense she disobeyed me, and she will pay for that and the insult, when I find her!"
She was very angry with her sister for all that she had done to her, even though her sister had done the right thing she did not care at all. The fae walked off to get in ear shot of the pack talking amongst them selves. Her talons were digging silently into the soft earth with every step, no wolf would be able to hear her soft and silent movement. With the new pups being born this was a good time to try and finish off what should have been finished years ago. “I will ask them, no, DEMAND to know where Pup is!” She said in a light voice unnoticed by anyone. Her muscles were tense with every step she took, and her heart was beating against her hard chest, it was obvious to see that she was an extremely strong wolf. A slight breeze went by, it was almost like the faes fur was a wall to it, for it had a hard time blowing through. When she reached a good spot to be unnoticed and out of sent range she slowed to a stop sliding in amongst the shadows that the tall trees gave off. Now she was safe for her sister would not be able to stop her since she was no where to be seen. With a soft unheard chuckle she sat deadly still and silent waiting and watching the packs every move.
From behind the shadowy femme, a stark white figure slunk amongst the backdrop. He kept low to the ground and far enough way that his obvious coat would not be spotted from those that rest not too far away. The only impurity upon his fur was a pitch black marking upon his left side of his abdomen. It was the perfect shape of a paw with the edges of claws. The color did not mix in with the white, each was as pure as possible. His white pads lifted and fell silently upon the tundra as he followed behind the femme in front. They had been traveling together for many a night. It was a strange sight, two rouges, working together, not something you would see everyday. Especially since neither knew the other's name and neither was their leader. They accepted being equals, which was not easily achieved my wolves of their kind. But the mascu did follow the fae for she knew the scent for which they searched. He had heard bits of the story, knowing of the fight between her and her sister, Starga, or so he had been told. He rolled his orbs as he listened to the femme speaking to herself. They had been traveling for many moons and now they had finally come upon the right terra. As he neared her, he lay down on the ground, simply observing the pack. He was nearly invisible where he lay and the femme's color hid her well. Here he sat and watched, observing the pack's weaknesses, their routines and secrets could be discovered from this spot.
He did this for he loved to travel among packs, reeking havoc among all that were unfortunate enough to cross his path. He has never known anything but destruction, his past is teeming with undesirable events that no one has ever heard a word of. He is solitary although, rarely, he will seek companionship. This was one of those rare occasions. Many skills have been learned to keep him at the top of his game, he is adept at hiding, and he has a very keen nose, one for tracking wolves. He can pick up on the smallest of scents from his own kind, following them through all things. But he has never known love nor family and such his past has plagued his present and future. It seems as though he will never lay at rest with in a pack. He was completely silent as he looked up to see the femme's crania. He wondered if any where her sister. None seemed to carry her blood scent that she carried. Though it was around the area. He could smell pups and he was upset that they were somewhere that they would eventually be attacking. He never attacked pups, ever, though he knew that this fae hated them. And so he looked back with a silent snarl as he saw the Alphen of the terra. He was bigger than himself and looked strong, but he was not very learned in the essence of fighting as he, himself was. This was obvious. And there were two rouges. But the reminder of pups, could cause the Alphen to fight harder to survive if it came to that. For now, the mascu was content to sit and observe the goings on and surrounding.
~~~~~Starga~~~~~
With a sigh Starga turned toward the path out and the two guard’s just outside where she was still sitting. She shook off her pelt of all the flower pedals that had made her pelt multiple colors. Turning back to Teller she saw him move slightly and get up, walking over to the middle of the clearing. "Starga where are you my friend?" His white orbs were faced ahead into nothing and his auds were flicking in all direction trying to find her still body. "Over here Sir." She said laying down on her stomach. A smile speed across her maw as she saw her friend move in the direction of her voice. "Aye there you are. You have a good sleep?" He said this with a slight laugh and maw in a small smile. "Yes I did thank you." Her orbs were fixed on Teller awaiting his next sentence.
Teller quickly moved his head toward her. "My dreams have told me much. And she will have the balls for lunch. Your true home is were you should be. Laughing and running free. You must get there before the big circle reaches its highest point. Or your alpha will loose his prime point. Not only that but so will the rest. All because you weren't there to help them fight their best. It is after the Pup. And will not give up for killing is what it does." His voice was breath taking as Starga put the pieces together so she could make sense of it all. All the sudden her orbs went wide and heart skipped a beat. "No!" She snapped looking up at the sun. Seeing that it was close to noon she dashed out with a worried and angry look on her face dashing through the forest to her friends, family, and home.
~~~~~Back at Windsong~~~~~
The rouge fae saw the perfect moment to show herself. The pack was calm and her sister was still not there. She got low to her belly almost touching the dirt floor. She took one small step from the shadows, making her orbs full of fear and most of her body still not visible in the shadows. Seeing the alpha, Kealo, she barked at him. Auds back, forced to look like she was frightened. For now she did not look like a rouge, which is exactly how she wanted it. This way she would be able to talk to the alpha. She knew what to do and found this very affective, and was getting very good at not showing her true self. Orbs were soft and not a cold blue but instead a warm and loving blue. She waited still crouched down for the alpha to approach.
The rouge brujo lay crouched in the brush, looking after his partner. He had seen her act as such before, for other packs. But he knew that this one was different, this was the one that they had been searching for many moons. And still, he didn't scent the one that carried her blood line. It was odd, where could her sister be, this Starga? Could she had left the pack, knowing what followed behind her every move? How foolish. Now two rouges lay hidden, one in darkness the other in a mask. The brujo smiled, pulling his lips back into a fearsome dagger filled grin. All was going according to plan, it was all too easy. And so he would wait, hidden in the shadows, pillars bent, ready to spring at the given signal. He would be there right behind her, unafraid to kill, unmerciful. There was only one thing that he would never do. Pups! He wouldn't lay a single paw on them, they were innocent and with out them, the future was dead to their kind. His reflective golden orbs watched as his friend's trick began to unravel.
Hearing the sharp call, Kealo swung his massive crania around to face the owner. He stood by the side of his love, his gaze now touching an unfamiliar face. She was standing in a perfect spot, out of reach of his nares, for the wind carried it from him. In the moment, Kealo had been very excited, seeing his pups enjoy the world for their very first time. But suddenly, this new arrival had him on edge. Being over protective of his young, Kealo was distrustful of most everyone that wondered his terra. Green orbs, now returned to their fierce cold stare, Kealo looked back at the femme. As he would always do he spoke, calling out to her. "Hello fae. What brings you to my terra? You are welcome here as long as your intentions are true." These words were routine, always telling a wolf that he was welcome if he didn't mean harm. Often followed by a speech on trust, his own trust, but for some reason, now did not seem the time. And though, he didn't feel like welcoming her, he did out of politeness.
The fae tucked her tassel tightly under her so that it didn’t seem like it had been severed. Her pelt was not at all its normal course self but flat and not up. Orbs were soft and warm and seemed to be full of love. Slowly she came out of the shadows. Reaching the alpha she lowered her maw to the ground showing much respect. "Names Fawn. Just here to find shelter." She said this in a cracking voice and started shaking as if she were afraid of them. An act the would fool and animal on earth. Slowly she turned her head straight up looking at the alpha and straining her neck to do so. "Sorry if I have wronged you." Her auds twitched slightly still flat against her head. She had this down pact and had worked many times over.
Pads touched the soft earth like boulders. Worried look widely spread across her face. She knew she had no time to spare. Continuously picking up speed with not a stop at a great a speed she was running. Starga leapt over objects and dodged trees. Never had she ran so fast but she had to get home before it was too late.
Thunder perked his auds up and looked over the dens hearing Starga’s racquet. He wasn’t quite sure what it was but it got him very excited. He looked down at Telliah and liked her head then trotted over to Kealo. He caught sight of the fae crouched before him but paid no mind to her. She seemed familiar but had no sign of being of any danger. "Hi Dad!" He said wagging his tassel joyfully. "Hello fae." He said trying to get her to look at him so he could possibly tell how she was.
The fae refused to wag her tassel or lift her auds she just stood there trying not to look at the pups for she wanted to kill them right then. "Thank you. I'm sorry I don't think I got your name." She was becoming a bit tense and she knew that she would get to attack soon but she needed to wait for she had not the right mind yet.
Kealo was back on guard. He didn't show it but he knew something was up. The femme had gone suddenly tense. It was a subtle change but one that stood out like a sore thumb to the alpha. Her muscles had tightened and her demeanor change just slightly. That was when Starga's frantic running caught his auds. Without turning to look around, Kealo instantly pulled Balthazaar, one of his three pups, closer to him, adding a like as if playing with the young pup. Still trying to keep up his fake sense of warmth and welcome, he spoke again. "Ah yes my dubbance. I don't think I gave it did I?" In truth Kealo didn't wish speak of his name anymore but he needed to stall until he could find out what was going on. Without even a second's pause, he continued. "I am Kealo. I am deeply sorry about that Fawn." He added a little chuckle as if laughing at his mistake. His cover had worked, it hadn't been easy but he pulled off a sense of calm that would deceive her nicely. Though it wouldn't last for much longer. 'Starga, come on. What is it that is happening now?' He thought, mind searching for explanations.
The faes orbs became fierce and body extremely tense, maw a wrinkled mess and daggers now plainly showing. "FOOL!" Se shouted snapping her head right too Kealo’s jugular. She had heard Starga too and knew it would be now or never. She even added a backward kick to the pup behind her.
Starga raced down the hill now seeing her worst fear. She leapt right between Kealo and her sister, letting the faes upward jaw latch under her chest. With the force she came at and the force of her sisters’ upward lunge, caused her to hit Kealo possible making him loose his breath. Her sister and herself were hurled to the side. With the force her sister had no chance of holding on and her daggers sliced under Starga chest between her front pillars. Instantly Starga got up standing between the pack and her sister. "Leave! Now!" She barked, not realizing the blood that was dripping from under her. Her pelt was not on end and her orbs were still warm. As much as she disliked her sister she was still her sister and would give her fair warning to leave.
Instantly Thunder remembered and dashed over the Balthazaar grabbing him by the scruff and darting for the den. "Get the little one!" He said to Alieska as he lightly dropped him in the den and went for the sleepy Telliah, another of the pups. He gave her a lick then picked her up and dashed back to the den with her.
The impact Starga had brought upon Kealo sent him spinning. Through pure luck he kept his balance as he breathed deeply trying to regain the wind that had been so fiercely knocked from him. As fast as he could, his pillars brought him to stand just slightly behind Starga. 'So this must be her sister.' He thought. She would know her best and so he stayed just slightly behind, though everything had been a little mixed up in Starga's entrance. Kealo now stood closer to the brush then he had before, and even closer to yet more danger. But the other rouge, now quivering with excitement in the brush, did not move a muscle. Instead he lay perfectly still, ready to spring at the perfect moment. It was very near, he could almost taste blood in his maw. His heart beat hard against his large chest. Moments more and the odds would be far greater for his rouge partner.
The fae chuckled slightly, evil grin crossed her ma. "Ah Pup! Nice to see you again." She said licking the fresh blood off her maw and savoring the taste. She was mad that she had missed her chance but knew that she had another in the bushes so didn’t care. "I will not leave till you and the pups are dead!" Her normal form was now there. Cold orbs, spiked fur, tassel out and body low.
Starga was beginning to feel the wound as she shifted her wait stepping closer to her sister. "Jade! You were warned! Come at me! And leave the pups alone!" With that Starga was back to a rouge but the pack had never seen her this fierce. Her orbs were almost white compared to her bight yellow. Her smooth pelt was bristled all over her body including her pads and auds. Her lips were back fully showing her daggers. Now another fight between sisters was about to unfold.
~~~~~After the Fight (Jade)~~~~~
This fight was a long one and soon there were two rouges fighting the Windsong pack. In the end Jade went away wounded and the other rouge was unknown to everyone. Now we must press forward in time and scan over the doings of the pack. Simply this is for the reason that this history of histories is too long to read all at once. The rouge, Jade returned to the Windsong pack to finish what she had done. However, she fooled the pack into thinking she was kind hearted in some ways too as she got between Maya and Maya’s sister that wanted to hurt and even kill Maya. However it was all just a large trick and soon Jade attacked. With this battle Jade walked off terribly wounded. The Windsong pack dissolved soon after leaving Jade to think on her own and go back to her two pups. Now we find her here talking to them and telling of another journey that is yet to come.
The blood stained fae dragged herself into a clearing where she had left both of her pups. The male of the two was stilling contently eyeing a mouse not too far away pondering whether or not to go after it and have it as a midnight snack. The female was off in the shadows devouring a small doe she had killed hours before. Both of their crania’s popped up as they saw their mother drag her wounded body to them. There was a content look upon Jades features but it was clear she would not live the rest of the night. “My children.” She said in a raspy voice. “The Windsong will be splitting apart do to the damage I have caused. However, I could not finish what I have done. Nether my sister nor my new target, Kealo the Alpha male, are dead. And so it is that you both will do well in serving my last wishes. Kill them! You both now have names. Son, you are Olaek and daughter you are Agrats. You are both three now and have all the training I could ever give. Your names are Kealo and Starga backwards and so those are your targets. Work as one for two bodies able and strong to fight are better than a single strong one. I killed many of they pack but you two are to do the rest.” Jade could not go one with her instructions. Soon after her short speech, she toppled to the ground and died as she took a last painful breath. It was true, what Teller said was all true. There was a pup that killed her. As she called Starga ‘Pup’ so many times before, it never came across her mind that she would be the one to kill her.
Both brutal wolves looked to their mother then to each other. Evil glory shot through their veins. Their mother gave them the task to kill off what she had started. Their mother was top and their Aunt seemed to be even stronger. Both siblings were already strong but they held something that not many pure devils hold, it was that of partnership. Like their mother and aunt use to do they were about to do as well. “Brother, together we can accomplish this. I know we can. We can form a pack, right here. Call it the Klomora. We are of the strongest blood of our kind. Nothing can stop us. We will fight as one!” Agrats snarled as she looked to her brother. She, without a doubt had the side of her that was sick and twisted. Her brother had a softer tone to his voice and an air about him that would seem very peaceful. “Yes, we will fulfill our mothers dream like so many would. This place was passed down to use by blood and we will keep it as such. Yes, they will surely die.” He smiled evilly as he got up and both walked off to form a pack that would be trained to perfection. Their mother would be proud.
~~~~~Starga~~~~~
After the final battle between the two sisters, Starga wouldn’t be the same. The fighting had obviously torn the pack apart and Starga blamed herself. As Jade lipped off she shouted to Starga a few simple words. “I couldn’t kill you but know this! You betrayed all of the black hearted wolves and for that you will be killed! Your blood will be after you sooner than you think.” Those words were of only riddles to Starga as they would seem to have no meaning at all to her. She had no idea Jade had pups of her very own but for now, even if she did know she wouldn’t care. Her pack was never going to be the same.
Looking out over at the rest of the pack, she noticed that there had been deaths, all caused by her in some way. A single tear rolled down her cheek as knew it was all true. Alieska had been banished as well as Lindori and Bathazaar. Her body was not badly beaten but she still had a few deep wounds but nothing she couldn’t handle. Looking at the rest, they seemed to be in very poor condition. Jade would die but this pack could not go on. The small Thunder was with Alieska and the pups but she could tell he was not going to stay around much longer. No, she couldn’t stay. Without another thought she dashed into the forest and left the Windsong behind, thinking she would never see them again.
~~~~~~~~~~
One day, as Starga was walking around, she happen to run into a large black form upon the lands of the Skah. 'No it can't be.' She thought as she took a few steps forward and looked closer at the large brute. It was! It was Kealo, she had finally found him at least. He wastalking with another though. A small wolven was talking with him and so Starga waited for him to leave and then she would talk to her long lost friend. Before long Kealo was alone and Starga steped forth from the shadows. She was so happy to see her friend again but she did not show this. "Kealo." She said in a cool voice as she sat back upon her hauches.
The spoke for many days catching up on what one another had missed until finally, Starga mentioned a family and wondered if he would join her. He was intent to and soon Starga could see the cruelness in him soaking threw his body and soon they were on their way back to the Gang. However, as Starga's luck was, Kelo ran into Maya, the wolven of a pure heart. This Starga could not beat and Kealo picked Maya over her. Furious, Starga stormed back to the Gang, where she met up with a new member to make the Gang larger and stronger, Mala.
Now Mala was heart broken and furious, the anger in her body soaking threw her as though she were steaming in the cool night air. Mala was furious and wanted to take it out on someone, anyone and soon she foundthe perfect game for the Gang, and that was to go after her brother Aplin. And so they did.
They captured the small brute quickly and easily one day upon the Skah lands. His mate had run off and he had done so in the other direction, where some of the Gang members were paintenly waiting. They captured him and for a year they tortured him until one day they came up with a new game. Sure they had had little ones while torturing this brute but this one was going to be big. So they gave Aplin a choice. He could stay and live with them, or he could run home, with no treatment, to warn the Skah wolves and die upon their lands. Loyal to his pack, Aplin left, but the Gang would never step paw upon the Skah lands. It was all a big hoax.
Before they left the area of these lands, more wolves came to join their group. Starga had caught the sent of Invert and went to see him. He was upon the Amarth lands and for that she went to their territory to see him. Once there they talked for a few moments with one another as well as Avatre, the small pup Starga had met long ago whom was now a fair size. Over a few moments, Starga had gotten a hold of Invert and he had agreeded to go to the Gang with her.
Not long after that did Kealo appear and soon he found a lady friend by the name of Adiemus. She was a beautiful fae of many colors and had a wonderful name. But now what was to become of them? Only time would tell for their time upon these lands were growing short.
